The large bed was very comfortable. The location was brilliant. 10 minute walk to/from main train station, Metro right outside hotel, minutes walk to town centre, brilliant shopping, supermarkets close by, plentiful restaurants and bars.

We didn't like that there was no on-site reception. Although staff were available at Hotel Emma across the road, we felt that it would have been more secure if the hotel entrance was staffed. The 'runner' (coloured decorative sheet) across the bottom of the bed had several stains on it, as did the long decorative pillow. These are unnecessary, and if they can't be cleaned, they should not be on the bed.

The room is styled very modern including the bathroom. Nice rain shower with reliable hot water unless you stand underneath it for 30 minutes. (but why would you) The room was clean, comfortable beds, and the location gives direct access to every part of the Rotterdam's city centre. Needed a last minute hotel, so stumbled on this one by accident. Will be my "go-to" from now on.

the breakfast was awesome. They have a deal with a restaurant around the corner to provide the breakfast. . Unfortunately if you stay multiple days, that restaurant gives you the same breakfast every day. I stayed about 5 days so imagine.

Modern, clean and able to play music through Bluetooth system.

I received a scam email as though it had been sent by the hotel to verify my details and I completed the form which included my personal details and payment details - I was notified by the hotel a little later on that day that the email was a fraudulent scam - so I had to contact my bank to cancel all my cards and it was a little inconvenient as had to have my phone fully charged at all times to use any payment methods via the wallet app and on several occasions my phone died and I was unable to buy items / to use my phone.

The room was super well designed and decorated, despite being small it felt comfortable and bright. It was quiet and we slept well. It is well located, a few steps away from the tram and the metro station. Breakfast is served at a restaurant and it is delicious and abundant, it really went beyond what I expected. I did self check-in for the first time which was a lot of fun for me. The shampoo and soap was excellent quality, this also positively surprised me as usually this doesn’t happen.

We checked in at 2 pm so it was earlier than official and our keys didn’t work so we had to walk back to ask for help. The lady at the front desk was helpful and solved our problem. I don’t know if the issue came because we checked in early but it could be helpful to notify to only check-in after 3 if it is a recurring issue.

- The location is great: just a 10 min walk from Rotterdam Central Station, and ~15 min from the Markthal; a lot of attractions are within walking distance (for me). - The staff at the reception (which is located at Hotel Emma) were friendly and helpful. - (Self) check-in and out is very easy, but unfortunately, we were not able to (self) check in (system error?) so we had to get the staff at the reception to do it for us. - The room is nice and the bed is comfy :)

- There's no shower curtain :( Not the end of the world but you have to be careful when showering so water won't go everywhere - Transparent bathroom/toilet isn't a big deal for me but some people might feel uncomfortable. - Our room was at -1, opposite the janitor's closet. The cleaners start getting ready at 10 am, it was a little bit noisy. - We could hear the travelers upstairs every time he/she walks around ...

This was a great hotel to stay in. The location was good. The room was very spacious with a studio apartment feel. The bed was very comforatble and the room was very clean. The lobby area had a coffee lounge with free coffee machine and an office space you could sit at to work. Very friendly and welcoming staff over at Hotel Emma where you check-in.

Nothing major. The window could have had some privacy curtains as it did feel very overlooked when lying in bed. I did have to walk back over to Hotel Emma to get a new key as mine stopped working, but this wasn't much hassle.

We appreciated that due to change of plans we were able to check in a bit earlier. The room was small but otherwise practical, e.g. there was space to put your luggage under the bed when not in use. Really liked the design of the entire room, especially the bathroom. Comfy bed, TV with Netflix and good speakers.

The bathroom, although it looks amazing, is a bit impractical - would be better if it was (at least partially) frosted glass instead of full glass. Although you could separate the hallway / glass bathroom from the bedroom by a sliding door, I was anxious - what if the cleaning staff enters while I'm in there? Plus the water escapes the shower, so it would be useful to have a door there.

Amazing location and excellent service! We had a wonderful time and the Hotel Unplugged team was more than helpful and kind. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you for all!

We missed just very little things like a proper wardrobe or something .. there are just a few hangers and not very suitable for dresses/ coats etc. Also not enough hangers for 2 people so we had to put our stuff on the seating which didn't allow us to use the seats. Also some hooks/ hagers in the bathroom would have been nice for the towels to dry. Plus the bathroom door was broken. We couldn't close it. Definitely needs some fixing! But other than that.. beautiful room and space!

The staff was really nice, they have a small shared room where you can eat and use a small fridge. The room was small (but comfy) and we liked a lot that they had a coffee machine on the shared room. We love coffee so free coffee won our hearts for sure!!

The only thing that wasn’t so good (not a problem regarding the hotel itself) but the area, at night (1 or 2 am) was a bit “shady”. It’s very close to the centre (that was nice since you don’t need public transport to move) so I guess they can’t do anything about this since it’s not their problem.

Its a good hotel to stay at in the budget range. The location of the hotel is also amazing as one can enjoy all the best things to do that Rotterdam has to offer within a walking distance. They have also though of people like me who travel for work by giving a working office like setup in the hotel. Will definitely stay here again

Though the rooms were small, the shower area was a challenge as there is no door to cover the shower place, due to this all the water would flow into the room and that would further dirty the entire floor. Everyday i had to use 2 fresh towels to just keep the place dry. Probably the hotel needs to think of a solution on this
