Beautiful views of the mountains and snow during winter. Lovely accomodating staff and the grounds are so picturesque. I only stayed one night and it wasn’t enough time to take it all in

As it’s a boutique hotel you need to be prepared in advance with timings, (something I didn’t anticipate with my flight times whoops) as things move slowly - part of the charm on a longer stay to help you unwind. I thought the selection of teas in the room could have been higher quality not just dilmah but perhaps I’m unnecessarily picky on this one

Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

The breakfast (included) was a bit less than we had imagined for the price, but fine and the locale was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The A/C in our room was weak, so the room ran hot throughout the day and even at night

Stunning scenery, great views from the room, large spacious rooms and comfy bed. Degustation dinner with matched wines was very good

Brekkie needs to be improved on, first day my omette was cold, second day had the banana bread, seriously I’m not sure where the chef got that recipe but it was awful. Gave my wife a bite and she said it was inedible. Would be great to have a golf cart to take you to and from your room for meals, that hill is seriously steep to walk

Breakfast was amazing. The chef was friendly and asked us personally what time we would like to eat and also came to check on us with our food. This kind of service is absolutely next level and contributed to this amazing stay. We were treat so amazingly. Also a massive shoutout to Jasmine for treating us so well, looking after us with our cheese platter and late night spa arrangement. Everything was amazing.

Sound Bar location by the door… it was difficult to sit on the balcony and listen to music without it being too loud outside the door due to facing right against the door and so close to it rather than on the side of the room where we were hanging out.

The property itself was beautiful and the rooms were luxurious. The cheese platter and glass of wine in the evening is definitely the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was lovely.

The room we were in didn’t have a full length mirror, and some glasses/tumbler to put makeup brushes and toothbrushes would have been good. I think the makeup pads should be removed from the bathroom (if you want to stay true to being environmentally friendly). If you are increasing any prices e.g late check out fee - it’s best to update it on all avenues (including your printed compendium, website etc) otherwise it’s just inconsistent. It’s also good business practice to honour what was originally quoted rather than quote new prices and to find it wasn’t updated everywhere else.

Great view, and beautiful building.

The service did not pay attention to details, no toothpaste or toiletries although it said it was included, lack of coordination between staff members and therefore had to re-give them information multiple times. No proper curtains in the bathroom, so if you took a shower at night anyone outside can see you. Lack of choices of pillows. On the first day we had cookie time cookies which were then replaced with oat bars.

Huge and comfortable room. Amazing views! Lovely afternoon cheese plate with a glass of rose + a nice breakfast in the dining room.

Check in could be improved by instead going through to the sitting room with the fire. A bit unclear about which rooms had access to what facilities EG sauna, gym etc (these are only available for The Retreat guests).

We stayed in the Retreat suite which was perfect for our one night luxury stay. Andrea was super welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. The outdoor pool is beautiful (not heated) - We didn't have dinner here as there was no availability but went to Ayrburn down the road which we would also recommend highly! Popped down to the cellar door too during the day and had a fabulous wine tasting.

Beautifully decorated and roomy bedroom with fabulous views of Lake Hayes and especially Coronet Peak in the winter. A very comfortable bed with a wonderful double shower head experience with great heat. Loved receiving a vino and cheese board upon our arrival thankyou. Was a very homely but truly elegant experience with plenty of space for everyone, even when wet. What a creative venue with alot to offer, incredibly unique property worth experiencing without the hustle and bustle of Queenstown.

Tv noise from room next door upstairs, more so when in our social space area but out and about for evening.

Breakfast was fine seating area private with great views of lake and surrounding area wonderful friendly staff

Continal breakfast could have a better variety of food like stewed fruit etc
