Centrally located to Parnell and walking distance to plenty of eating places. 50m to Lala Cafe which has great coffee ☕️ and food. Everything about our stay was easy. Room was clean and modern. Great being close to the hotel Gym and Pool. Washing machine and dryer in room was handy. Perhaps at the top end of the price range, but the quality was excellent. Based on our experience with Parnell Quest, we have now moved onto Quest in Tauranga which is also great. I would stay at Parnell Quest again without a second thought.

Conveniently located to where we needed to be early the following morning.

Bed was uncomfortable. Seemed like something cheap and basic. Some areas of the room could’ve done with a little more detailed clean (dusty extraction vent and sprinkler in bathroom, dust on a number of ledges throughout, and a water bottle cap on the floor by the net curtain in the lounge area). Poor arrival (where do you park when checking in?) and after hours checkin instructions. Figured it all out, but could definitely improve on this. Perhaps call any turret who are yet to check in around the time reception is closing to 1. make sure they are still coming and 2. provide verbal check in instructions

LOCATION - Quite a distance from CBD but not an issue at all, as we've always preferred staying in a quiet neighbourhood. We got around Auckland using fair share of taxis and ubers, they were everywhere and easy to book. They either took only 2 - 3 minutes to arrive or sometimes immediately available! ROOMS - We were a total of 4 guests staying in a 2-bedroom apartment unit. It was clean and spacious. Beds are very comfortable too. The apartment is a hidden gem as not that many apartment units (even 2-bedroom ones) have 2 bathrooms, so we didn't have to fight over using bathroom.

Common Bathroom - The shower drain was severely clogged on our first night's stay, so two of us who were using this bathroom could only take lightning fast showers. As we arrived on a Saturday and there was no housekeeping staff around on Sunday, we could only report this to the reception on Monday morning. Luckily, the staff were very helpful and responsive and had already got their dedicated plumbing team fixed this by the time when we returned to our apartment in the mid-afternoon. To the Quest Parnell Team, thank you so much for your prompt attention and getting that resolved! This was the only flaw of our stay, but your excellent customer service has counteracted it.

Simple but comfortable and clean appartment in an excellent location just off Parnell road.

I hadn’t realised that after 7.00 pm there is no reception- so was flustered to find that the property was locked. Eventually worked out how to use the intercom to connect with someone and access key from a lock box. I did get an email about this process but it was sent too late for me to see it until after we’d managed to get in and connect to wifi. Wasn’t a big issue - but perhaps being clearer im communication / sending message about late check in earlier would have been useful.

Location & affordability

A few things can be done to improve the experience: kettle flip switch fell off, one down light in lounge didn’t work. Lighting in living area was very dull. Water dripping on balcony from above unit. No working exhaust fans in both bathrooms. No ventilation in both bedrooms (would have been nice to have windows that open or sliding doors). Toilet paper wasn’t replaced & had to be requested after room serviced. Clothes & towels washed in apartment didn’t dry even after more than 2 hours in the dryer. Dryer definitely doesn’t work in apartment 22. Shubham at reception was the best at customer service & made our stay a good one.

Location was excellent. The room was a good size and we arrived after reception had closed but there was an easy process to follow.

The room was for 2 people- I was travelling with a friend so wanted separate sleeping space. I booked the room which said 3 people could stay so assumed there must have been a pullout bed option but when I completed the booking was told it would be an additional $50. Thought that was a bit rough. Had I known I would have just got a studio room as we were literally only in Auckland to sleep….

Great location off a quiet street in Parnell. Lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. Within walking distance to ASB tennis centre. Room had a lovely easterly view including view of sky tower. Lap pool was sunny & clean. A great place to stay in a great location between city and Newmarket. Great value for money. Parking free on street outside hotel in the weekend only, Otherwise, additional fee to park in secured car park under hotel.

Very friendly staff. Kettle in room with tea and coffee. Small dishwasher and assorted dishes, pots and cutlery. WASHER AND DRYER!!! Felt safe. Restaurants and shops in area. Walked to Museum and Rose Garden. Used Uber for aquarium and other places

Steps on Heather street. And managed my luggage. There's a back entrance off Falcon which is easier

My second stay at Quest Parnell. I appreciated the friendly and efficient staff and wonderful studio room. Fully equipped, quiet and very comfortable. The location is amazing. All the Parnell eateries and cafés are on the doorstep, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the CBD. The gym is small but functional, with an extra long exercise pool.

The staff in the reception were very kind and helpful with all of our questions. The room was spacious, well equipped (with a stove and microwave) and the bed was very comfortable. It was very handy to have a washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer (with the appropriate soap for them both). The walls were very good as we didn't hear neighbours (just in the corridor briefly). We would happily stay here again.

The area is up a hill - we were ok walking up/down it each day but some older people might've struggled to walk up to that part of the city.
