the house is located in the perfect spot! right in the middle of the worlds steepest street! the room is cozy, comfortable and the toilet is excellent! the house is lovely! thank you for letting us cook in your beautiful house! ive tried driving up the car up to the steepest and i did it!

not applicable. i understood why parking your car should be at the bottom of the street. its safer since its very steep.

This was such an amazing stay. I had a car so I parked on the street below and then walked up the amazing street (that I was very proud of doing) and then arrived at this lovely and clean home! The living room doubles as the entry way, and free coffee and tea is available as well as comfy couches and a warm atmosphere. The best thing was my incredible room! The bed was soft and luxurious and they had turned on the electric blanket for my arrival! It was such a lovely attention to detail and I was so greatful as I had had a long day. The bathroom was also ultra modern and with great water pressure. This was my favourite stay in Dunedin and I wish I had stayed longer!

Room was clean and had the essentials you need (towels, soaps, etc). super comfortable.

Location is a little difficult and annoying to get out of but that’s what you get when you’re on the steepest street. and parkings not really ideal.

Excellent price everything we needed for overnight.

It was fine for our stay. More attention to cleaning, this has been mentioned in the previous reviews so we’re weren’t surprised. frankly I think the property could charge more if these minor items were attended to. We were concerned the room door didn’t lock

It was in an iconic location - the steepest street in the world. Host was very welcoming. Room was luxurious. Shared lounge and kitchen provided all you needed. Be prepared to walk 2/3 the way up the very steep street. Parking is at the bottom.

Check in is at 1800. We turned up earlier and our room had not been made up.

It was located on the world’s steepest street! Very comfortable room, even had a lounge with water kettle, dishes, fridge, and teas and coffee.

Parking is only for seniors but I left the car on the Main Street at the bottom and packed just the necessities for one night so I didn’t have to pull my suitcase up that hill ;-)

30 years ago I moved to NZ with my parents and lived for 20 something years, then I moved away for work. Because of the work/ covid situation, i haven’t been home for 6 years and this cozy little place reminded me the house that I grew up; neighbours cats, dairy shops/ takeaway down the road, etc. Thank you!

Bathroom drain was clogged with hairs before we moved in.

The B&B was without breakfast but we had our own food do it wasn’t a problem. The location is good and we did walk up the street. We had some difficulties locating the key on arrival.

The portable cooktop in the kitchen didn’t work and the toaster was very slow. We managed because we had our own food for breakfast. The sink in the en-suite closest to the road was partially blocked and took a long time to drain away.

The bed is very comfortable and very friendly staff

The check in time is quite late at 6pm But luckily the staff allowed me to store my luggage before check in. There is no car parking as I need to park at the road side. My car was scratched due to parking at the road side
