Great place, easy to find short walk to the city, quiet.

Only problem was I had booked a two roomed apartment ( I’m 74 my son 44). I must’ve put for only person so when we arrived the lady told me she had given me a one bedroom unit. Most unfortunate and I had already paid so we had to make do. Never had this happen before as I have travelled a lot with my brother and always book 2 bedrooms. Nevertheless I will definitely book again when I go down next year as I will be solo. It is a great place, one of the best I’ve stayed in great value for money.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Woodlands Motels and Apartments! Amazing location being so close to the centre of town and yet great facilities too. We stayed here as a family, and the room was a very generous size, great beds, awesome kitchen area - even a DVD player so the kids could watch their movies. There was a wee playground just outside the door that was perfect for my preschoolers and the room was nice and warm with plenty of heaters provided. We will 100% be back to stay again!

The only thing I could say we didn't like was that the room was a bit dated - especially the bathroom area, but that it was all very functional and it didn't worry us.

The Motel is very Retro, but spacious with good family facilities, a playground, a quiet convenient location and comfortable beds and lounge furniture. The cleanliness was a good standard, except for whoever ignored the rules and left a lingering fish smell in one unit.The garden was gorgeous and the off-street parking perfect. Now this place is typical 70s, so don't expect modern. It's great family accommodation at a fair price.

Only downside was the squeaky outside door and creaky flooring making it a little disturbing for light sleepers, hence 4 rather than 5 stars.

Althoufgh the apartment was quite dated, it was very spacious with lounge, kitchen, bathroom and 1 bedroom on the first level and the master bedroom on the second level. It was a bit more space than required but was good to have the extra space after being in the car all day.

The main issue I had was the complete lack of water pressre in the bathroom. The shower had next to no water pressure which made it near on impossible to have a shower, especially having been stuck in the car for the majority of the day.

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting St Margaret's College. A short walk away and on the flat. Lovely garden setting. Also less than a 10 minute walk to the wonderful Otago Museum.

there really wasn't anything to dislike although some may find the limited tv channels a disappointment. But who needs TV in such a charming city with so much else to do.

Very happy to be allowed to check in early as our refurbished apartment was ready. I was travelling with 4 students for a competition in Dunedin and the apartment was perfect for us. We moved 1 bed into the lounge where I slept and it was very comfortable. The owners are happy for you to do this. The accommodation was very affordable and was a great location - walking distance to the university and museum.

The wifi cuts in and out.

While the property is a bit dated in style and design, it was very clean and warm. Was lovely to arrive later in the day to a warm room with heaters on. The staff were amazingly pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The rooms and kitchen 5 clean and well stocked with all we needed for our nights stay. The shower was one of the best showers we have experienced in a hotel stay with amazing pressure.

Super central. Close to resteraunts and Otago museum. We really appreciated the space of the room and facilities. There was a small playground for our kids to enjoy right outside and we were able to catch up on some laundry too. Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊❤️

It would have been great to have a bath.

Great position in Dunedin, easy to find. welcoming host, unit far bigger than we had expected, very warm- 2 very efficient heaters, beds very comfortable and warm- used the electric blanket as weather quite chilly, all the kitchen equipment we needed and more, fabulous shower.

We had one issue - with the wifi. The host went to no end of trouble to help us sort it. A capital O in the password was actually a 0 zero. We didn't notice the difference!!! Once sorted all was well.

Location (close to the uni and city center), spacious, clean, *double glazing* , little alcove with windows (our daughter's favourite spot), nice and nicely equipped kitchen, newspapers at the doorstep, available laundry facilities (for free), cot at no additional cost, kids playground and lovely flowers around

We had two heaters but both were broken, and nothing was done during our 3 -night stay,even though we mentioned it on the first day. It wasn't too cold though, so it was OK. Laundry is cold wash only. But these are really only details. Overall,we enjoyed it a lot.
