Pleasantly small and well-organized campervan park, with (in addition to camper pitches) also a number of small, cozy cabins, of which we had one. All cabins have a small veranda in front. Our cabin was spotlessly clean, as were the shared toilets/showers. A remarkable (nice) detail we found was the radio that was constantly playing in the shared toilet/bathroom area, a smart find for extra privacy during your sanitary stop. The communal kitchen was well equipped, well maintained and (again) clean. It can be a bit busy at the two hotplates, but with a little flexibility and planning this was easily manageable. Staff at reception were super friendly and welcoming. We found this a great place to stay and definitely recommendable.

Clean room & shared bathroom & kitchen area. Private bedroom with small sofa and table & chairs. Small decked area to sit out. Close to town & ferry ports. Helpful & pleasant check in. Good value.

If you need to get the early ferry the kitchen facilities don’t open until 7am so you can’t make a hot drink. It’s very dark getting to the shared bathroom early in the morning so some low level lighting might be a good idea.

Impeccable! From the moment we arrived. Super friendly and happy staff, even though they just finished cleaning the rooms, just spotless from start to finish. Really clean, also great showers, plenty of pressure. Great common room and kitchen, plenty of instant hot water and milk. The fan in the room was an added bonus as Picton really turned on some hot weather!

Couldn't fault it

helpful, smiling receptionist. I was asked to come to the office for anything I needed. I was also very impressed that Kent Street was the perfect place to stay as the ferries are down at the foot of the street.

To have access to have made a cuppa before leaving for the overnight ferry. Kitchen does not open until 7am.

Good value for money, easy to book, good communication and instructions. Clean and tidy and welcoming

Our ferry trip was delayed which meant I arrived after 10pm. My room was nice and warm and clean and easy to find, however the kitchen was closed so I wasn't able to make a cup of tea which would have been nice after the trip we had. Otherwise loved my stay

The staff are awesome, more than happy to help sus something out at short notice, juggling rooms around for me and able to add extra nights accommodation. Great in terms of ease for work purposes. Communal bathrooms are lovely and clean! And all showers on the site have fantastic water pressure. And also not on niggly timers that go cold on you without warning like some other holiday parks. Overall great value for money. Always my first choice for buisness trips. And would also love to take the kids here for rnr as they have great facilities for the whole family.

The wee single standard cabins are very basic and showing their age. I would stay in them again push come to shove, the rest of the parks facilities and staff make up for they're tiredness.

Facilities - I was able to do some washing and ironing while I was there, really useful for part-way through a trip. The room was super cosy and warm. The kitchen and lounge were really convenient and well-stocked. Super convenient for the ferry terminals although the ferry was cancelled the next day and the owner helped me to make alternative arrangements - thank you for that!

Some noise from the freight trucks going to the ferry terminal

This place is pristine! The cleanest campsite I think I’ve ever been to, and cute. The cabin I stayed in was lovely, the flowers around the main office are very pretty and overall the place has a nice comfy, cosy feel about it. The couple running the place are so friendly and helpful too - all in all, a little gem in Picton.

We're getting a a bit old for this type of accomodation, but Picton was fully booked so we were very lucky to find this gem. The whole place was very well maintained. The shared bathroom, shower block was very clean and a great size. The common area was perfect for making our own breakfast and a huge frig to keep our things cool. Would recommend if you are wanting some great cheap accomodation in Picton.

Very central location, which is a positive and negative! Clean and organised facilities, friendly staff. Park up and walk to town.

Whilst ideal if on an early ferry (you’re going to be woken up very early ) by off loaded truck traffic on overnight ferries as you are right on main road out of town.
