The description of how far from the ferry was correct it was a stroll. The room was big with a large bed and two singles. The kitchen was well kitted out. The staff were polite and helpful. The units were very quiet even though it's in the middle of the town. It was easy to walk everywhere. I love Picton and this accommodation made it even more lovable.

Nothing to dislike

I loved how close it was to everything. Being on the main street I didn't need to walk too far.

The pressure in the shower, lol yeah yeah, this is one thing I look for with a great place to stay, that and great pillows... which this place fell short on both. Staff were lovely, a few other people staying there were a little noisy but I guess that is to be expected when you are so close to the pubs etc.

Location - Good, close to almost everything Room - Clean, decent, spacious (for us, family of 2 adults, 2 kids). The beds could have been re-arranged so that the two single beds are together for kids Price - Probably slightly above higher but still decent

Parking - If one big vehicle is parked, it jams almost the entire space (We faced this problem), probably could have been better handled by the staff

although Picton was busy, in fact no rooms available the day we managed to get a standby ferry (booked two nights, only used one) and I did go to tourist information and heard them ringing around that same day we left, we lost the cost of one nights accommodation because we didn’t provide 24 hrs before my booking notice - in this situation and because they would have sold the room 10 times over I believe it would have been fair to refund that nights cost. we lost $310 - not cheap for two people as that was the only room available to book.

I liked that it was close to the ferry and in town so easy to get food. The room was really clean and bed was super comfortable I really enjoyed my stay here so did my partner. Shower had really nice pressure as well.

The parking here is limited which is fine but it's so tight so can be hard to park because of how small it is. Couldn't figure out where the wifi password was but didn't mind.

They allowed us to check in at midnight due to our ferry crossing, and the location to the ferry was awesome (5 mins). The room was lovely and clean and perfect for a few hours sleep before having to head off again. And the manager was really friend and helpful when I rang the night before to check for a late check in.

There was nothing I didn't like

Owners are very friendly and helpful The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable Area right in town and pretty quiet considering being right in the middle. Clean, comfortable, close to everything. Really handy, activities and shopping literally right at your doorstep. Great food and shopping.

No pool but the beach is a minute away and beautiful therefore a pool isn't really needed. No Sky movies but then again we didn't have time to watch it.

The location is excellent. the Motel couldn't be closer to all that Picton offers. The weather was great and it meant I could entertain friends on the balcony where tables and chairs were provided. It was perfect. it looked very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
