Smith's Farm Holiday Park is the ideal spot for a break. Located within a stones throw from the local Queen Charlotte Tavern, Havelock, and Anakiwa, the property is easily accessible. Barbara and Chris were extremely welcoming and looked after us throughout our stay. The cabin had all the amenities and facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend the waterfall track and glow worm walk to guests staying at the property.

Quaint, quiet, connection with nature. Sunrise views and plenty of walks and farm animals around. Charlotte and Peter (I think) were most warm and a lovely couple welcoming us into their beautiful holiday park farm stay. On arrival, we were served freshly baked delicious banana bread muffins, the perfect antidote to the winter evening. You'll be given feed for the sheep and other livestock to enjoy feeding in the morning. You'll love it. Plenty to do in the area

The Smiths Farm Holiday Park is a well-kept facility in a scenic little spot with excellent service from friendly family staff. Set in a beautiful location with good beaches a few minutes drive down the road in both directions, it is a great place to visit with family or friends. Our two year old loved feeding the animals, and it was a perk to be given muffins on arrival even though we got there late. The lovely walk up to the falls on dusk was another enjoyable addition to the evening before crashing in our well furnished unit.

I had no idea about the bush walk and glow worms. That was a massive bonus for the whole family and the kids loved it! The kids also loved being able to interact with and feed the animals (food was provided), particularly the pigs and goats. The chickens came for a visit too :) I was also able to bring our dog.

I should have booked direct as I think it's cheaper. I was aware the place was pet friendly, but didn't realise there was an additional charge. The hosts were really great about this so it wasn't a problem in the end. This needs to be more explicit on Bookings.com

The setting was beautiful, wonderful atmosphere on the site with fantastic facilities. We had all we could need in the cabin and it was very comfortable. The Glowworm and waterfall walk was the icing on the cake, simply magical. I will definitely be recommending this accommodation for anyone in the area.

Nothing I didn’t like.

Very friendly and helpful owners. We were provided food to feed the animals and warm muffins on arrival which was a nice surprise. A lovely place to relax for the day with the family and see the glow worms at night. Had all the facilities we needed.

Chris and Barbara were the best part of staying here. SO extremely helpful and delightful touches e.g. fresh warm muffins for us to take to our cabin upon arrival; picking us up from the Queen Charlotte Sound track end. The cabin was clean and well stocked for a small kitchen space - it had everything we needed.

Linkwater was not particularly convenient without your own transport and yet the owners went out of their way to make that less inconvenient by offering to drive us back to Picton (Barbara, was SO understanding when our 1yo got car sick)...But it meant we didn't need to wait for the 3.30pm Anakiwa water transport (Again - huge apologies)

Chris and Barbara were impeccable hosts: friendly and knowledgeable. Chris took time to show us to our room and explain the farm and the route to the waterfall. The homemade muffins were a lovely welcoming surprise. I enjoyed feeding the goats the bag of pellets I was given for them. The cabin was basic but the bed was comfortable and the view inspiring. The other residents were friendly and the shared facilities kept clean and tidy. It was the perfect place to relax for a couple of nights, thank you.

I just wish I'd remembered to book direct online rather than on booking.com. My mistake: I ran out of WiFi as I didn't realise that my phone was doing an update. I couldn't be bothered to buy more credit.

Calm, quiet, very friendly and cozy place. Our cabin contained everything we needed, we had a lot of space. We really loved having breakfast on the veranda, with the forest view and scent. Receiveng a warm miffin and milk upon arrival was a very nice touch.

You need to have a car here, which we did, so it was not a limitation for us, but keep it in mind.
