The room was clean and facilities were as expected. We had everything we needed, and appreciated the tea and coffee set out in the kitchenette. Toiletries were given generously too! The staff were helpful when we needed to do a late check in and recommended a greta laundry place down the road. Parking was fine and location was convenient.

The wet bathroom was a little less that ideal, but that's probably just personal preference! Also, the tub didn't look very clean so we didn't end up using it.

Spacious clean room with very comfortable king-size bed and large spa bath. Excellent location, 10 minute walk into the city centre and 5 minutes to a huge Countdown supermarket. 15-minute walk to the Polynesian Spa and Lake front and 20 mins to Kuirau Park (free access to lots of geo-thermal features). Living Maori village and thermal reserve, Whakewarewa and Californian redwood forest are within 10 min drive - both exceptional and we highly recommend visiting.

Some traffic noise but not too bad. On the first night our room was invaded by a swarm of mosquitos - but we discovered that endemic NZ mozzies do not bite people as they feed on birds! By leaving the window open the mozzies left the room when our light was off - no problem in the end as the mozzies just sat on the ceiling and walls until flew out the window. Not many mozzies on other nights (we stayed 5-nights).

Room was spacious, clean and serviced daily. The spa was absolutely amazing! Grounds tidy, staff very friendly and helpful. Location is awesome! Cafe/restaurant across the road, fish n chips shop was a 5min walk away and the town centre 10min walk. Close to Countdown & Pak n save. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay, highly recommend

Having not stayed here before! We holiday in Rotorua about 3 yimes a year and have stayed at various hotels, this has been the best by far

Location was great! We never spent more than 5 minutes getting around. We checked in pretty late but we had no issues with the staff & they catered to us with our late arrival (Easy Comms). We stayed in the “Studio with the Spa Bath”. Our room was so nice, better than what we expected! (The photos don’t do the rooms justice, I thing they are pretty outdated) Very clean, spacious & comfortable. The bed was so comfy & big! Not to luxurious but felt like home. Loved the room for our short stay!

Parking is very limited (Not a big issue) but the staff were happy to help us park our car somewhere. No Air Con in the rooms but there is a fan :)

Service was amazing, we enjoyed our stay. Our Private hot tub was better then polynesian private spa we went to it was hot nd not cold. Serviced with fresh towels daily and not hassled at all was relaxing and quite. Would absolutely stay here again. Ps. The fur baby that was there was so beautifully natured and gowjoze we loved seeing em. Thank you for having us ee enjoyed our stay

One thing i could say and this is just something to improve on. Is that after each stay please thoroughly clean hot tub as before we used we gave it a bit of a clean as we saw things floating in water. And there was a bit of glass under hottub step please just double check for things like that. Other then that wed still come back

The room was comfortable enough, a good size and reasonably priced (compared with other places we stayed when in NZ). Parking was no problem. No complaints really.

The walk to Town was may be a bit of a trek, but very managable. Other Reviewers are making a lot of "the smell". There was a continuous odour in the area, but it was sulpher-like, not sewage as reported by some, and did not pervade the room. A result of the location being in an active geothermal region I think, not an hotel issue, and not a problem for us.

was well presented. the minibar was stocked up which was nice. an the doggie from the office simba visited our room often, super friendly.

spa pool needed a little clean and jets seemed a little weak. the shower had so much soap scum/limescale built up which made it feel dirty. an the pillows on main bed was so flat an only had one pillow to each side of the bed which wasn’t to comfortable to sleep.

Staff lovely, we had an outdoor spa which was just lovely after eventful day. Great location as could walk to the Mall & local restaurants. Great family place as 2 single beds in lounge & our bed in separate room.

Unfortunately, the bed was so soft that every time we both moved, the other felt like they would be flown off.

Loved the rooms, the spa . Was nice and clean.

The pillows were so uncomfortable, they are really big pillows made my neck sore the next day. Felt like I couldn't cook a meal for my kids. Don't like staying places were they don't like you to use the stove top. No aircon and was really hot.

We felt a little bit vulnerable being in the room closest to the road with no security cameras etc..as we drove out, a car on the road side had been tampered with and wheel was half off from someone trying to steal it so our feelings were granted.
