A cosy comfortable place to return to after a day of exploring. The units are spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Kitchen great for cooking, washer and dryer upstairs. Beds were very comfortable with lovely soft extra blankets if we got cold (but even on the cold mornings the interior was not very cold). We travelled in may, which we found to be a beautiful quiet time to see the area, with blue skies everyday. But as it was cold we didn’t get to make use of as much of the wonderful outdoor facilities (and we were to busy with all the amazing things to do in the area). The spa was lovely though, sitting watching the palm trees by the lake it felt like a tropical paradise. We had one dinner in the restaurant which was great value, so convenient to have a great dinner and walk back to our unit. The food was fantastic, with a home cooked cosy feel. Thanks so much for a great stay! Best value for families and groups I could find in the area.

I would be wary with very young toddlers that you are surrounded by water and would just have to be a bit more vigilant if letting them roam outside, (from the photos maybe some of them have a fenced backyard?) ours didn’t which was great for us as we could enjoy the views of the ducks on the channel out our back door.

Beautiful location; right on the lake, easy check in, the chalet had everything we needed for a great stay. The chalet was warm and comfortable, nice couches and good TV, stereo, etc. Fully equipped to come to Rotorua and start living like you're at home.

A lot of stains on the floor and marks on the wall, appliances were nice to have and functional but tired; the drier made alarming noises after it had been on for a while and left a lot of fluff on clothes. Couches were a little low and not as comfy as they looked but fancier than the standard apartments (same with the beds). Pillows could be better. All in all, a nice feel and ready to use, just a bit tired.

We liked our 1st stay so much (on our way from Auckland to the South Island), especially due to the amazing staff but also the accommodation itself that we decided to come back a 2nd time on our way back to Auckland. Great staff, friendly and thoughtful - we arrived very late but staff had turned on the heating, so it was cosy and very welcoming on arrival. Accommodation was a different two-bedroom apartment (it's more like your own little row-house) than the one during our 1st stay. Not as in good shape and not as perfect clean as the other one but still very nice. We had a great time!

Someone else mentioned an issue with condensation while using the dryer - we also had this issue.

A wonderful "Hello" on arrival by the friendly staff, we immediately felt welcome. At the reception you can borrow a book or a board game or a movie for free if one is interested to do so (which we were). Accommodation was a two-bedroom apartment which turned out be more like a little row-house with two floors (ground floor: kitchen to the right, followed by an open-plan dining area with a large table and six chairs and a living area with a sofa and large TV that leads right up to the other end of the house where some sliding doors open to a little terrace, 1st floor: master bedroom to the left, then bathroom with shower, washing machine and dryer in the middle, second bedroom with two singles to the right). Free parking in front of the house. Fully equipped kitchen, spotless clean - as was the whole house. Heating and cooling possible - much appreciated as it was rather chilly when we staid there. Lovely surroundings close to the lake.

Nothing, it was perfect.

It was situated 30mins from Te Puke. Nice to have a breakaway for a few days. The 2 story Villa was lovely, right by the waterway. The reception lady was lovely n helpful. The restaurant had lovely food. We decided to pay a delivery fee to eat in our room the 1st night, being May it was a cold, cold night. The Cheeseboard n Deep Fried King Prawns were 'to die for'. Yum... The Spa Pool was occupied, so we didn't get to try it. The only regret (on my part) was not booking the 3 bedroom Villa, so my friend (with walking problems) didn't have to climb the steep stairs every time she needed to use the bathroom. The 3 bedroom Villa has a bedroom downstairs (with toilet, I hope) 🤔... Overall, an 8.5 / 10

The stairs?

3 bedrooms upstairs and lounge/kitchen/dining downstairs, so enough room for everyone to spread out. Was really warm and cosy. Great to have a kitchen, the toaster didn’t work and we had a brand new replacement within a couple of minutes of calling reception, spa was great after a rainy, wet day.

The only thing was we could hear cars on the main road when trying to get to sleep due to wet weather but it’s pretty rural so was not too bad. The cafe/restaurant was closed due to family emergency-drove to Okere falls cafe for coffee in the morning, was also a great place for breakfast.

Great location outside of Rotorua. The resort is away from the city's smell. There is nice surrounding at the channel between Lake Rotorua and Lake Rotoiti. The apartment is very well equipped. Friendly service.

The state of the apartment is past its best-before date and would appreciate some refurbishing, especially in the bathroom. The apartment is in general well-cleaned but it appears that due to its age, some dust accumulated in hidden spaces.

Location is peaceful and beautiful. Apartments are well setup with cooking facilities, washing machine and dryer. Spent lots of time using tennis court and gym. Tennis court well maintained and gym has useful equipment including a cable machine. Pool looks lovely, just a bit too cold in September.

Liked everything. Will return again. Would love it if pool thermally heated so more usable all year round, bigger spa (not needed if pool heated) and the ability to get breakfast in the morning.

This place was amazing! Despite it being fully occupied it was so peaceful you felt like hardly anyone else was there and it did not feel crowded at all. The canal was wonderful for a morning swim and drifting on the current to the boat ramp before heading to the pool which opens at 8am. The current is mild and calmly pushes you along but look before you leap as the edges are rocky. The pool was very well maintained and clean. Access to what feels like a private lake is on the property and so I recommend walking the premises to plan your swimming spots. You won't be disappointed if you love the water. Next time I would bring our boogie boards to ride the current and a raft or stand up board. My family enjoyed the restaurant for a night. The rooms were quiet and oh so comfortable. The kitchen facilities had everything. And all the staff were soooo nice!!

The spa was warm but not hot and so our expectations were only mildly crushed but it in no way hampered our experience and we met other lovely tenets in there and so it can be a nice social meeting place too.

Property is on the other side of Lake Rotorua to the city centre, but we felt it was a great location. Only 10 to 15 minutes drive to town and isolated from town, it’s tranquil and quiet. Our villa was on the canal so every day there were ducks and swans outside swimming outside or back door. The kids loved it. Room facilites were good-nice warm rooms, modern kitchen , air-conditioning and stand fan included, decent bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Clean sheets and towels. It is highly recommended to get some groceries before checking in for cooking during the stay as the restaurant opening hours is irregular as it's privately owned. Would definitely recommend this place to any visitors to Rotorua.
