Great location facing the lake. Spacious unit. Very quiet. No sulphur smell like some places in Rotorua.

No breadboard, although found this in other accommodation as well. Minor issue though.

If you want plush and fancy I guess you go else-where, no issue with facility.

Great location right across thre road from the lake

It would be good to have some storage for clothes if you are staying for a while. We only stayed 1 night so didn't worry about unpacking.

The view of Lake Rotorua was lovely and coffee with the sun coming up just perfect. Main area clean and tidy. Bathroom needs a lick of paint however it was comfortable and very quiet.

Needed to top up tea and coffee more. Very relaxed about that sort of stuff. Pretty much o intrusion while we were there so that was a plus. Staff very obliging with any request and attended to a few things like a light bulb not working. Lovely planter boxes making it feel homely. And bonus pets allowed so will definitely back and will bring the cat!

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room and enjoyed sitting and watching the swans swim past as the sun set.

The location is amazing! Such a beautiful view to wake up to. The host was very helpful and accommodating with whatever we needed. It was great value for money and we liked being in a quiet part of town. Our son could explore and walk around the lake without many other people. It felt like we were really secluded but we were only 10 minutes from town.

Not so much didn't like, but as stated in other reviews it is a bit dated. This didn't affect comfortability, just something to be aware of before booking if that matters to you. We weren't there much during the day so it didn't bother us.

It felt like home away from home. The owner made us choose where to stay. It was very comfortable. The owner was the friendliest person we ever met. He made us feel very comfortable. We initially booked for one day and decided to stay another day. That's how good we felt. Thanks to Ken, that will definitely be our first choice when we go to Rotorua again. It's a lovely hidden gem because of the walkways next to the lake. I truly recommend Jake and Di's to anyone who needs to de-stress and a quiet time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Position was great just across the road from Lake Rotorua. Being out of the centre of Rotorua meant that Sulphur smells were almost none existent which was good. A good place for our jouneys around the local area.

The property is getting a little dated and in need of a spruce up. Didn't concern us that much though. It was quaint in it's own way

Really enjoyed our night here, we booked this motel as we were attending a 80th & this property was great it exceeded our expectations. For a older style motel it was very tidy & clean, spacious better then a lot of places we have stayed that are new ! would stay again & worth the price :)

We could hear the people next door snoring all night so may be thin walls? but my partner & i giggled haha! Also the mirror was hard to use in the bathroom as it was on the side of the wall from vanity other then that we were very pleased. Thank you

Peaceful location and good view of the lake and close proximity to town and activities we had planned for our family like skyline etc

It's a beautiful view and could do with a renovation. Other than that thank you Jack & Di's Lakefront Motel for your hospitality.
