We have been traveling for 10 weeks, moving locations every 1-3 days... Annie's stands out as an exceptional stay. It is clean, spacious, new, well appointed and has an amazing soaking tub in the very spacious bathroom. I took an hour-long bubble bath with both my knees and shoulders submerged... you don't have to choose one or the other! It is perfectly located for a trip to Milford Sound. We booked a small group Milford Sound tour with Cheeky Kiwi Tours (wonderful!) and their pick-up location was a mere 1-minute walk from Annie's. It's a perfect combo.

Nothing could have been better.

It was modern, clean, had a great view of the mountains, close to everything and comfortable. Plus very friendly help! The shower is to die for :)

Annies at Milford is a motel/cabin style arrangement with parking right out the front of your accomodation. I thought we would be have a standard motel experience but it way exceeded this. The owners had thought of everything. The rooms were generous and warm. All the seating and furniture was beautiful maintained. The bathroom was spotless and the shower one of the best I have ever had. The bath looking incredibly inviting. There is a outdoor sitting area with seats for a nice day. There is nothing we could fault. It is a very good establishment and close enough to all the restaurants and activites in town. We walked down to it all and it took no more than 10 minutes. Highly recommended for a stay in beautiful Te Anua.

Great bed, easy access to Te Anau and lovely warm reception. Rooms come with a heat pump/split system aircon to heat it up and all the things you'd need for a short stay (iron, kettle, microwave etc). A nice little place to base yourself if you are wanting to explore around Te Anau or further up to Milford Sound. Te Anau itself is a lovely little town.

Soundproofing between adjoining rooms was not fantastic, we had some pretty noisy neighbours on one night, but obviously the property owners can't help this. Otherwise it was dead quiet.

Extremely clean

Everything about this property was just fantastic, the bed was so comfortable, the cleaning was impeccable, there was everything I needed including lovely towels, bathroom necessities, good water pressure in the shower, tea & coffee facilities, armchairs on the terrace to sit in the sunshine, I could go on and on. Really happy I stayed here and would absolutely recommend, not many places in Te Anau are very up to date but this was a real treat for the area and should get 5 stars.

No complaints.

Very comfortable spacious quality build accomodation. Extremely comfy king bed, very good shower. Double glazing and well insulated room so heating was great. Would recommend, great cafe across the road too.

Very small hanging wardrobe space, no hooks for winter coats or any wet clothing if inclement weather. Some artworks on walls would enhance the room as it was large, but overall it was a nice space

Very spacious. Lovely lookout to the mountains. Great location within walking distance of township.Laundry facilities in the unit. Comfortable beds and great daily service. Dishwasher drawer.

Only one mirror,r and that was in the bathroom. Not enough cutlery and crockery for three people nevermind 5 that there were beds for. No oven was a bit of a nuisance and the range hood was a height hazard unless you are short!!

Huge lawn in front of the property. Lovely afternoon sun. Large verandah at front door to protect from bad weather. Very clean and modern. Very comfortable bed. Contacted Annie's on the day we were arriving to see if we could get early access as it was raining heavily. Got a prompt reply to say that we could enter early.

We had no car. The walk to Annie's from the town centre has no shelter so not so pleasant on a wet day. The shower door was difficult to open - needed some maintenance to ensure it fitted well.

Ann our host was really helpful and friendly. The location was just a short walk and pleasant walk into the main town, and there was a fab general store right opposite our accommodation. Our tour to Milford Sound picked us up right outside. The accomodation was very spacious and comfortable, and seemed virtually brand new. Would definitely recommend.
