What can we say, this room, the view, the location, and the facilities were great, wonderful, gold..The bathroom was perfect, yes perfect. There was a bath with a TV, the best shower we have ever seen, wish I had one at home. The kitchen area had everything you need to make breakfast, and dinner. They also provide all that you need to clean up and there is a dishwasher. The view of the lake was great and you could sit outside and enjoy the view with a book or wine. Oh, and the blue lights that come on at night so you can see and not wake up your better half.

Just that NZ thing, don't book in before 2 pm, they bite. This was it as for being helpful on all things from towels to info on the area was spot on..

We had a super king 1 bedroomed apartment which had a bath (but not a separate shower). The apartment was tastefully designed and well equipped. There is parking directly outside the room, but a planted border in front of the doors separates the cars and means that we were not disturbed by cars coming and going. We were greeted in a friendly and helpful manner and our stay here was very comfortable and relaxing. This is a family owned business and there is lots of attention to detail, from the beautifully kept gardens to the design of the rooms. Highly recommended.

Really surprised at how spacious the apartment was, and really clean and excellent presentation. It didnt have any musty smells like some places do! The lake view was amazing from our living area and really beautiful gardens. Parking was spacious, easy to unload our luggage. Really loved the recliner chairs (what a special bonus!) For us, we enjoyed it being adults only too, we talked to other guests easily in relaxed outdoor settings. Such an easy walk to town,parks and anything we needed. Would be so easy to stay here for longer stays.

The bathroom was lovely, and had a bath, but we experienced the shower was tricky to get out of, and water sprayed onto the floor.

A deluxe room with everything we could wish for in a stunning setting and with windows to make the most of the gorgeous view to the lake and mountains. Walking distance to Te Anaus restaurants and with good information on hand about walks and other things to do.

It's a motel and not a hotel but I would have welcomed some more facilities- in particular an in house masseuse, small bar area and concierge style staffing.

We came back from last year everything was perfect. You can tell the owners take pride in their establishment. Very welcoming. They even leave chocolates for you. The thing we liked most was the lady who runs it she is very friendy and helpful and the cleaning staff are wonderful I couldn't find a spec of dirt anywhere! The bed is so wonderful my husband said he got lost in it lol we love how it feels like an apartment with 2 large rooms and wonderful bathroom..

Wow, we stayed for two nights in one of the new apartments and it was the best place we stayed in on our whole trip. Absolutely loved it. The view, the fireplace, the super comfy bed, the coffee machine and walking distance to the centre of town and restaurants. It had it all and we didn’t want to leave. Staff were incredibly helpful. Was an absolute pleasure to stay here and would definitely stay again

Nothing, it was pretty perfect

This is a very clean, roomy, comfortable apartment with a lovely outlook to the lake. The bed was very comfortable and the armchairs were too. Kitchen was well equipped. During a long power cut the owners were kind enough to boil water and provide a breakfast snack from their bbq for guests.

No accessible power points by the bed. Quite a bit of noise from neighboring apartments. Shower is over the bath - it would be good to provide a non slip shower mat in the bath. Also the water from the shower sprayed all over the bathroom floor.

Incredible apartment with so many thoughtful touches. The information book was the best I've seen of all the places I've stayed in New Zealand, with information about walks, menus of nearby restaurants and also a lot of information answering potential stay questions eg Wifi, laundry etc. Free laundry and $1 per 10 minutes of dryer, but there's a heated towel rack in your room which we used for the few pieces we washed. Parking just outside our room (but unfortunately the spot in front of our apartment was always taken by someone else!) Bed is lovely and firm, I love a harder set bed. 3 options of pillows available with varying degrees of firmness for you to choose from. Just so thoughtful 🥰 Room is huge. Bathroom is cleverly designed so that you can use the toilet which faces the wall, away from the shower. Kitchen is kindly stocked. The plunger coffee was kept inside the plunger, very cute and thoughtful!

The only one odd thing is, we stayed for 2 nights and they only remade 1 of the 2 beds on the second day and seemed to remove 1 pillow from the double bed. It felt like they had forgotten to complete the job perhaps? This really wasn't a big deal at all to us.

Check in was easy with a very welcoming host. We had a bottom level suite in the tahana block and the room was amazing. Everything very clean and modern with fantastic lighting and ample high spec appliances. Particularly loved the sensor lighting in hallway, washer/dryer and 'fireplace'. View of lake was amazing and uninterrupted. Had an accidental breakage during our stay and the host dealt with this in a very fair and friendly way. Overall very impressed and am already trying to change future travel plans to include another stay. Hats off to all staff, you do an amazing job behind the scenes and all the little touches are appreciated.

The place was awesome. A large apartment. We had a super comfy super king bed and both had the best sleep ever. Electric blanket you couldn't feel, top sheet over the liner. Soft super large spa towels, extra heavy weight fluffy blanket. Loved the bathroom and the lighting. Dressing table mirror in bedroom, 2 TV, kitchen well stocked/ even salt and pepper and complimentary milk, coffee etc carefully thought out for guests. Separate toilet. Bath!! Shower to die for! We didn't want to go home and definitely will be staying again next year. This is our 6th or 7th trip to Te Anau and this motel is the best. The weather was awesome making the view at the front spectacular sun set. Thank you so much. The service was so friendly the cleaning staff amazing I can't say enough kind things about this place. We felt like we were at home!! AAA Plus!

Nothing we didn't like. It would have been an extra if I could get subtitles for hearing impaired on lounge TV but no worries I used the bedroom TV all good :)
