The lady at reception was great. She provided great restaurant recommendations (based on my dietary requirements). She was extremely helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view from the room was great. Free onsite parking.

It wasn't an issue, but just odd. I stayed for two nights. I was told that the room would not be fully serviced (only towel change, the bed was not made) after the first night because the cleaner was sick. I can accept that; however, if I only stayed for one night, I assume they would have to find a backup plan for the sick staff member. I assume it is just a way to reduce labour cost/effort.

Well it was raining when we were there so views were limited. Loved the location as is close to all amenities like restaurants . Staff was super friendly and professional and super helpful with directions. The lake is right there with some good walks in either direction.

Not really a negative but the t.v entertainment was a little lacking. Sky movies or access to Netflix would be good. DVD player is a bit Dated for what is out there on the market. Even just a smart t.v so you can Mirror from your phone or tablet would be an improvement.

The location was great. We stayed in unit 6 Very comfortable beds. One bathroom for five of us, but it had a nice big shower/tub with great water, pressure and a water heater that gave all five of us warm/hot showers. Kerri what is great and made sure that we had great places to eat. The Sandfly Café and Lakefront for breakfast and The Ranch for dinner.

Very small refrigerator and even smaller freezer. Having said that, the kitchenette was efficient and even had a dishwasher (which we didn’t use)

Kerrie was extremely helpful and booked the most wonderful day trips to Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound for us prior to our arrival. This extra service meant we were collected at the door and didn’t have to endure the long drive to Milford and stopped at all the scenic views along the way. Everything in the room was quality and beautifully decorated. This was definitely the best motel that we stayed in during our three weeks travelling in the South Island of New Zealand. Great location with easy access and parking. Lovely lady on reception - friendly and helpful. Spacious unit with a good view of lake and mountains.

Radfords is high end in the motel world. As such we would have liked: The daily service to include bedmaking. I object to making my own bed at this price. Many of our lesser accommodations gave this service. Open access to Netflix . Sky was available but not the movie channel. Therefore the TV was useless to us..

Great location, great staff, information about facilities & where to eat. Washing machine & line space in garden. Spacious apartment with lake/mountain view. Fresh milk, chocolates in fridge. Great water pressure & spa bath. Kerri, the host could not have been more welcoming & helpful.

The fountain in the carpark. Would have preferred an upstairs room to look at views without cars parked in way. The luxurious pillows were too big & firm for me, but my friend loved them and the bed.

Breakfast wasn't available.On arrival we were directed to a place in town for breakfast.We were disappointed because we booked here because it said there was a breakfast option.Since we were staying for 3 nights we ended up going to a supermarket to buy breakfast cereal.Not the treat we look forward to on holidays.

Our room facing the lake was spacious and spotlessly cleaned. All the little extra touches such a chocolates in the fridge, fresh milk and extra towels made our stay so comfortable. A short walk to restaurants and town centre.

We thought the cost was a little on the high side compared to other hotels in the area but we were so pleased at the cleanliness of the room and the friendly check in process.

Wonderfully helpful owners. Kerri helped us book the best trip to Milford Sound. She also gave us the best dinner recommendations. Kerri and her daughter were incredibly friendly. The facilities were clean, in great shape, with comfortable beds and linen. The kitchenette was functional, complete with a cook top. The grounds were immaculate. A wonderful stay was had. Oh, the location could not be better; right on the lake, and a five minute walk to the center of town.

Great location within Te Anau, offering a lovely view of the lake and the surrounding mountains directly from the room. The apartments are spacious enough to spend several days and the kitchen offers real cooking options. Staff were very helpful and gave us several suggestions for the town and the greater area. Te Anau may be small but it was still great to do everything within the town on foot.

Nothing, highly recommend if you plan to spend several days in the area.
