It had everything we needed and was well-equipped. Also had 51-channel etc TV so I could watch the cricket test in India 😊! Staying there also meant a discount on their tour to Milford Sound. it was the the third time I had been there and was easily the best I had been on. Also very handy to town for supermarkets, restaurants and the lake.

Floorboards a bit noisy but nothing serious

Very comfortable, clean and quiet accommodation close to everything in Te Anau. Our cottage was well equipped with everything required for self catering, including a barbeque on the deck. Birchwood cottages are great value for money and I would totally recommend them. Day tours to Milford ( including the boat trip) are also offered for a good price.

This place is a small place with beautiful little Cottages and surroundings.The owner Leonie was a kind and loving lady who treats you as one of the family.We are a family of 18 and the way she made us feel was something not many accommodation owners do and that was like family .This place is a place everybody must go to and see. There is alot of area for your children to be able to run around and many things to enjoy . I give this place 100 percent. I wish Leonie and her family all the best for there future

The wifi didnt connect from our cottage had to go outside to connect ..

A spacious and comfortable unit with friendly, helpful hosts. We really enjoyed the Milford Sound tour that they organised with the exceptional guide, Jamie. Very effective heating and good parking. Close to town centre with variety of restaurants.

Nice little spot. Good size for 2. Warm enough, comfy bed after a couple of long days. Cooking facilities were fine.

I think fridges in self contained accom need to be bigger than the most basic fridge available. not a big deal but… also not convinced the bbq was clean.

Perfect location very clean and tidy and very thoughtful teas coffees and fresh milk were waiting for us. The lady was so nice and helpful the gentleman booked us in a little abrupt but OK. The location very handy for shops and restaurants and local trips to caves etc and nice quiet environment.

The cottage has everything that we needed for the stay. Very convenient to have a washing machine and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and kitchenware. The Fiordland Tours to Milford Sound was fantastic, highly recommend to book with them if staying here.

The owners were lovely and welcoming, had the fire inside our cabin going before we arrived so it was nice and toasty! The grounds are really well maintained and even had apple trees outside that you could pick. Heaps of play equipment for kids if they were travelling with you and lots of space. Very clean inside the cabin we stayed in - would definitely recommend!

Super friendly and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our stay in a one bedroom cottage. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. We were close to the road but found it was quiet and peaceful. The lovely shrubs provided privacy from the road. The location is close to the township. The hosts were able to offer us a discounted guided trip to Milford Sound which was a fabulous day out. Would love to return here.

Easy to locate, in a lovely, quiet area. The home was well noise-insulated, so despite being on a main road we really didn't notice. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you could think of and more.
