The hotel was close to everything in the city center. It was clean and the staff was wonderful. Check in and check out was super easy. The breakfast was top notch and the facility to dine in was nice and modern.

The small room option was WAY too small. There was not enough room for 2 people (couple). The double bed was barely big enough, and there was not enough space in the room itself for 2 suitcases. The shower also was not big enough to turn around and properly wash yourself, plus no place to set your shower toiletries, so bending down to get them off the shower floor would knock the shower off or turn to extreme hot or cold Shower mats should be provided as the water was constantly all over and we were not provided with one, so we had to use a hand towl to dry the mess. So unless you are a single and traveling alone, don't pick the small room.

Very good location close to the central station, very nice sized room, with a couch, table and chairs and an overhead bunk. Breakfast was excellent with so much variety and good quality food. Lots of good options for dinner close by. The self check in was surprising but super easy.

The only challenge of the location was the number of homeless people who congregate across the road at the local mission in the overnight, they were pretty loud in the overnight and might be concerning for some guests as they return to the hotel in the evening.

The location is excellent. It is barely five minutes by walk from Oslo Central Station. It is located in a quiet, leafy street right opposite a beautiful little park. Buses and trams and trains are easily available nearby. The breakfast was superb. The room we stayed in was small but adequate, quiet and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was neat. The elevators were adequate.

There was a minor issue of water not draining well enough from the wash basin and the bath cubicle. There was no wardrobe in the room but there were enough hooks and hangers.

Walking distance to many attractions and the train station Breakfast had a very good range (even if you needed gluten free or vegan alternatives) WIFI worked everywhere all the time

Checkin process can be long if you mistime things and a tour bus has turned up Contactless checkin was being tried out - but no one seemed to know where one gets the pincode from (it wasn't the same as the pincode you get when you have a booking.com confirmation) and staff didn't know (so old fashioned manual checkin applied instead)

Great hotel at a reasonable price. The staff was very helpful and kind. Delicious breakfast buffet, everything was fresh and tasty. There was a wide selection of food, fruits and beverages. The room was so clean it looked like it's never been used before. The bed was very comfortable, TV was also working well and provided access to a few Norwegian, Swedish and Danish channels. It was very quiet in the room, I didn't hear the other rooms. I really appreciated the enviromentally-conscious approach as this is quite rare with hotels in general. For this hotel it's certainly much more than just your usual corporate greenwashing. They really make you understand a little bit what does it mean to be Norwegian. The hotel is situated in the very center of Oslo, near Opera, Munch museum, Akershus fortress, Aker Brygge and many other attractions. Area is good-looking and quiet and there's easy access to train station and public transport.

Economy room is quite tiny but a small table would still fit in there. It would be useful to have it. There's only a narrow shelf below the TV and two microscopic night stands where only a phone or glass would fit. Also there was no fridge.

Great location and breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Easy place to stay in the middle of town.

The view from our room was on the inside of the hotel and looked out over a disgustingly dirty wall over an alley way full of garbage bins and trash. When I asked if we could move rooms the lady on reception told me that all rooms for 3 people were on the inside of the hotel and so all looked out over this delivery and garbage alley. Unfortunate as otherwise the room and hotel and staff were all great.

this hotel Exceeded all of my expectations on every level! it was an 11 minute walk from the ferry, which is a relatively easy walk with heavy luggage. I was able to drop my luggage and explore the city with no problems. the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was AMAZING as i had a top floor room with a large balcony for a 9 night stay. the breakfast was OUTSTANDING. the cleanliness was top notch. the hotel's style was lovely. the location was Fabulous (5 minute walk to central station) and many tourist attractions..it was a bonus that it was SO easy to catch public transport for the 3 day metal festival that i attended. seriously, i can hardly wait to find another excuse to travel to Oslo and stay at this hotel. BRAVO!!!!

the only complaints i have are the HDMI did not work (connection between TV and my laptop). not a huge deal but a small disappointment. the only other thing was it would have been nice to have a fan in the room as it was unseasonably hot in Oslo.

The actual hotel is super, with great facilities and one of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel... there was so much to choose from. The gym was also a bonus and a really great space. Located right opposite the Opera House, the location is perfect.

The room was very disappointing. I thought the room would be small, but it was tiny and poorly designed with no where to store any clothes or belongings, so we were left tripping over our suitcases. The bed was also quite uncomfortable and the curtains over the bed were at head-level so when you slept there kept hitting me in the face. The lighting in the room was also really bizarre... there were 2 super bright light right over the bed (which was next to the window so unnecessary) and then only one very dull and dim light to light the rest of the room. I found it really difficult to see in my suitcase or anything else except for when I was laying on the bed!

Great location, good breakfast included, very comfy bed, nice TV, internet good in common area, quiet. Luggage storage available after checkout. Shower, wash basin and towels all good.

Space was very tight in the room with two big suitcases in our case, internet was also rather weak WiFi signal in room. Be prepared to use your computer etc in the ground floor common area which is well equipped with tables, power and strong Wifi with fast internet.

Borsparken Hotel exceeded our expectations - the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, the room was great with an amazing view of the opera house. The breakfast was wonderful - our flight was cancelled on the way home and we were put up in a four star hotel for one night, and agreed that breakfast wasn't as good as the breakfast at Borsparken! The location is fantastic - literally a few minutes from the central station.
