Beautiful stylish hotel in the Old Town of Krakow. Rooms were immaculate and fresh linen and towels every day. Very friendly and professional staff who all were multilingual and very well spoken. Each day, a tray of sweets was left in our room together with a weather forecast and a local legend to read! In our room there was a tea/coffee maker fully supplied. Beautiful bathroom facilities with Molton Brown supplies topped up daily and a heated floor. Hotel restaurant was wonderful; lovely atmosphere, attentive waiting staff, and superbly prepared food featuring local produce and specialities.

Some more English language TV stations would have been welcome Hotel would benefit from a guest lounge or bar potentially?

Incredible staff- especially the housekeeping team plus Nikola and Toby on the front desk. Beautiful decor throughout and a spacious suite- thanks for the amazing upgrade! Great location and delicious food. We dined in the restaurant one night which was very good, plus breakfasts were incredible too. Would definitely book again for another luxe stay- we loved it.

Nothing huge. We do like to have a drink or two at the bar at our hotel each evening and there isn’t one- not a huge issue but something we didn’t realise. Pillows- would prefer more pillows on the bed or spares in the wardrobe to use. An easy, small fix.

The hotel staff were warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. They organised a visit to Auschwitz when we decided at the laat minute we would go and were really helpful with all of our queries. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained and the decor was fabulous. Breakfast was good and staff in the restaurant were super helpful. It's in a great location, just on the edge of the Old Town and a stone's throw from lots of great places to eat. There were some beautiful touches in the stay too, with not only a different snack being provided every day but also a new story being left in the room. We began to look forward to these every day when we got back!

The hotel was getting hooked up to the city heat network so we unfortunately had roadworks outside our room when we stayed. The windows kept a lot of noise out but we did find the room was warm and our air conditioning didn't work (this was sorted out) so had to have the window open, but this was beyond the control of the hotel. I also found the bed a bit firm for my liking, but that's my own taste.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Balthazar boutique hotel during my recent visit to Krakow and I must say, it was a delightful experience. One of the biggest challenges with hotels in the city center is parking, but the hotel's concierge went above and beyond to help me out. They provided me with a Google maps link to a nearby parking garage and even arranged for a taxi to pick me up and carry my suitcase. What's more, they covered the cost of the taxi, which was a nice surprise. Once I arrived at the hotel, I was impressed by the stylish decor of the lobby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was a breeze. I was pleased to find that my room was just as comfortable and practical as I had hoped. The heated floor in the WC was a particularly nice touch, especially on chilly mornings. Overall, I highly recommend The Balthazar boutique hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Krakow. The staff's attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made my stay truly memorable.

Would highly recommend going there for your first night. -The proximity to the city centre it’s so close to the market square. -The staff are incredibly friendly and lovely. -The hotel room itself is very spacious. -Complimentary treats to eat in the room after your day in krakow to enjoy in the evening. -Extensive mini bar a lot of drinks to choose from. -It’s a small boutique hotel that has a lot to offer. -Its beautifully designed with eccentric interiors. -Airport transfers were organised by the property which makes it hassle free.

Lovely hotel, great location and fabulous staff.. wonderful styling and decor.. great sized bedroom overlooking the courtyard. Superb, cooked to order, breakfast.

Two little things that would make a big improvement..a bar or cafe meeting point would have been lovely, we were staying with others and would have liked to be able to stay in the hotel at times during the day rather than having to find a cafe or bar to sit and chat.. The pillows on night one were really hard, they were replaced on request with much nicer softer pillows. Very much personal taste but do check, before you sleep, if you think you might like soft pillows.

It was my partner's and my first time in Kraków, and we definitely want to come back, especially to this hotel. Judging from the ratings, we already had high expectations, but they were definitely exceeded. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, arranged several excursions for us and explained everything very well. We intended to have breakfast once or twice in the hotel, but it was so delicious, kept us full and (what we feel like) a good value for money, that we had breakfast at the hotel every day. The walking distance to everything was also very useful.

This is our new favorite hotel in Krakow, and that's saying quite a lot because we have visited Krakow many times. Indeed, this is the city where we got married. The staff was so nice and professional, and the restaurant was first rate. Even a simple dish like oatmeal at the restaurant is something special. The in-house ice cream is to die for. The location could hardly be better, being at the end of Grodska around the corner from Wawel Castle and within easy walking distance of the main square. We will definitely be going back to this hotel in the near future.

Beautiful design, felt very comfortable and luxurious. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was awesome, very thorough and efficient. Location was also perfect.

Only thing was that I wish they had an in between option for breakfast. It was either nothing or a 120zly breakfast that was way too much food for me for breakfast.
