Exceptional. Easy to get the 175 bus to the hotel. Large room (23) overlooking the square. Warm bedroom Staff could not have been more helpful

Breakfast is only available after 9.00 a.m. which can be a problem if you have booked a tour

The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and comfortable, incredible views, the staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming (and understanding of my bad polish)

the women who cleaned the rooms in the mornings were generally very lovely but sometimes would enter without knocking or asking while I was asleep—I started to put on a do not disturb sign, but I wish I had been aware that this would happen ahead of time—and unfortunately they sometimes got visibly frustrated with my poor polish language skills, I really am trying to learn :,)

Each morning I ordered the English breakfast. It was so delicious and filling that I did not need to buy a lunch, but just eat a snack in the afternoon before an early dinner. My breakfast server, Karol was excellent! He was attentive, friendly, helpful, fun, and efficient. Without asking, he brought me water with lemon and also an espresso for my morning beverage. He earns 5 stars, the highest rating.

I was disappointed that I was told the Royal Palace was closed on Monday when it wasn’t. I could have spent Monday touring the palace leisurely instead of simply walking around the old square and having to rush through the palace the next day, along with looking through two other museums.

Very central location. We could not book breakfast at the property, but there is a cafe/restaurant/bar right at the entrance to the property, so we had a night cap and breakfast there. The rooms were spacious and airy. Basic toiletries were provided. It was fantastic that we could leave our luggage in reception after checking out, until it was time to leave.

The shower head kept sliding down to the lowest setting on the bar; maybe it was fine, but I couldn't figure out how to stop it from sliding. The lift is painfully slow and it is a little unsettling; I kept wondering if it would get me to the floor I needed or give up mid way, but at least there was a lift.

Excellent location vis-vis the Castle and the Old Town. Very helpful staff. Premises with own, charming atmosphere of old and literature dedicated building. Wonderful view from the windows. Restaurants at the entrance, various cultural activities nearby. Existence of the lift was a pleasant surprise, and ride in it was the experience of its own :)

Nothing. Just be careful which bus you take from Central Station - most are routing nearby the hotel, but one goes through the beneath driveway and then you need to take many steps up to get to the hotel.

Fabulous location in the heart of the city. Steps from the old Town, Royal castle, and Warsaw University. This is a lovely old building which has been modernized The room and bathroom are large and comfortable with China plates, cups and silverware settings. The fridge, coffee and tea + fresh drinking water available in athe hall. There’s also a cafe/restaurant downstairs right on Castle Square. When arriving by taxi or uber give a back street address: Senatorska3and notify the property so they open the back door.

Include a light breakfast.

Great location in the centre of the city. Very helpful receptionist. There is a fridge in the corridor. You can ask for a guest card that gives you a 20% discount in the hotel restaurant and discounts at some other places (I have tried only the restaurant). The advantage of having a cold breakfast in the fridge is that you can take it with you if your flight is early in the morning. View of the yard - it is actually very convenient as you are not disturbed by the performers in the evening. The restaurant refused to honour my discount, the receptionist was very helpful in resolving the situation quickly.

Cold breakfast in the fridge. It is ok for 2-3 days. The cleaning of the bathroom before my check-in was not done properly (attached hair in the shower - I am bald). View of the yard - there was a problem with smokers most of the time (see attached). If you wish to have the window opened in the summer, that might be an issue. Very very small TV (monitor?), so you will probably not use it at all.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location - plac Zamkowy, Old town. Public transport is available, including from/to the airport. My room had the best view I've ever had in a city hotel! There is a reading nook which is perfect for enjoying the view and sipping tea. The atmosphere in the historic building is wonderful. The elevator is peculiar. It is definitely worth staying at this hotel if you love places with special atmosphere.

It's necessary to have a socket near the bed (or extension cord) for plugging in a phone or a laptop.

We had room no.30. Large room, little semicircular balcony, overlooking the castle square. It's a really interesting, quirky old building. We stayed in a hot August. There's no aircon but there is a table top electric fan which was fine. Comfy bed. There is a hot/cold water/coffee/tea station in the corridor and a small fridge outside room 24 and a cupboard with drinks glasses above the fridge. Staff were helpful. I would stay there again. (All the guest rooms are on the third floor, reception on ground floor).

2 little stools for the balcony would have been nice, but there was a footstool in the room we took turns in using!

The hotel is located in a busy area - lots of restaurants, one of the main streets, and a popular touristic district are located there. The hotel has its ambiance and history, if this is something you appreciate - it's worth staying there. The hotel has reasonable rates and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and neat.

There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom - the building is really old, so it might be the reason. The hotel is close to the highway - it was a bit noisy in the room during the night.
