The Grand Sal Hotel was very nice. Everything in the room was clean and stocked with soap, body wash, towels etc. The staff was very kind and helpful. They accommodated me by speaking English, as that is the only language I know. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was also extremely good. Breakfast the next morning was great with many options and a coffee / expresso machine. The location was perfect to walk to the salt mine tour the next morning. I was extremely pleased during my stay at the hotel.

I did not find any extra pillows in the room. I will admit I did not request any either. This is a very small thing.

We arrived at the hotel late at night and were warmly welcomed by the attentive receptionist, who promptly provided our keys. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, offering a comfortable stay. Breakfast was not only delicious but also very affordable. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

One downside to our stay was the noise from construction work or lawn mowing outside the hotel in the morning, which woke us up earlier than expected.

Nothing to mention

The perfect place to stay if visiting the salt mine. The entrance to the mine is literally just around the corner. The location in the old park is beautiful and very relaxing as well. The hotel itself was a bit smaller than I expected, but it just gave a more homely feel to it. The room was large and fresh and had everything needed: AC, water kettle, fridge and a bath. The hotel restaurant was excellent as well, we ate there two times during the stay and the food was very nice and well presented for a reasonal price.

The breakfast buffet was a bit limited. It was nothing wrong with the things served, but there wasn't much to choose from. I understand that this size of a hotell can't have a huge buffet, but I still expected a bit more that this.

Perfect location in a gorgeous park. Clean rooms, good meals, helpful staff. Five minutes walk to the train station. Easy to reach Krakow. The salt mine is practically the next building.

Only got one pillow per person. No hangers for drying the wet jackets nor for the wet towels. Emptying the trashcan and filling up the toilet paper only upon a request. Other hotels do this regularly, as a daily basis.

Very convenient location in the same vicinity to the Salt Mine attraction. The buffet breakfast, bar and dinner options were adequate and available to enjoy. The room we had had a spacious bathroom and beautiful view from 202. It had free parking when we finally opted for a rental for our second main event.

Sometimes it’s the most simplest things like personal preferences and expectations- did not have tissue box often seen in most hotels, coarse toilet paper, cold bathroom floor (guess spoiled by heated floors from previous hotel experiences), and small bath cover to prevent water splash outside of the bathtub.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel was super clean and had air conditioning. The included breakfast spread was huge and delicious. Steps away from Wieliczka. The chef at the hotel restaurant is fantastic - every dish we had was OUTSTANDING! Fantastic hotel. The grounds were gorgeous as well. I can’t say enough good things about it!

The location within walking distance to the salt mine and many restaurants was excellent. There was plenty of parking and no extra charge to use it. The food in the restaurant was also very reasonably priced and tasted excellent, especially the dessert. I had a single room with a large bathroom that was very clean and well stocked with toiletries. I couldn’t believe how nice my stay was given the affordable price I booked at.

I would have liked a list of phone numbers so I could call the restaurant but that wasn’t a big deal.

Very good hotel with excellent staff, better than we have expected, big room and bathroom, very clean, very confortable, nice breakfast, the existence of sauna and massage was a big plus for us. We booked it for the visit of Salt Mine which seems to be on the same property but we arrived too late and in the morning we did not have time for this visit. The hotel sells also very nice salt products that you can buy as souvenirs. If you plan a visit of Salt Mine, the hotel can organize it for you. Anyway we were not sorry at all for leaving Krakow to come to spend the night here cause it was a very pleasant experience that we feel we want to repeat.

A grand hotel much like what the name suggests. Reception speaks good English and is very professional. Service is top notch. Bathrooms are huge. Even tho ours was a normal double room the bathroom had a large bathtub and lots of space to move about. Hotel buffet breakfast was excellent. The entire hotel well maintained and smelling good.

Parking space is limited and carpark very narrow to manoeuvre around. Bedrooms are small relative to the big size of the bathroom.
