Excellent location and very clean. 5 min walk to the beach and main restaurants. Supermarket 2 min walk away. Staff by the pool were very friendly, excellent with kids, and managed the pool area brilliantly. Good self-catering facilities in the apartment. Overall excellent value for money.

Balcony was a bit small, and there was a bird nest on the balcony, which made quiet a mess. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom.

The apartment was really spacious and was spotlessly clean. It was also very well equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances, including a washing machine. There was an extra supply of towels and linen provided, but the cleaning staff also came half way through our stay to change the beds & towels. The Dunas complex is situated in a fantastic location, close to a large supermarket, the main taxi rank & bus stop and is only a short walk from both the beach and Alvor town centre. It has an excellent pool area which is well maintained with lots of snack bars and cafes nearby.

Our apartment overlooked a bar & restaurant which could be noisy at times at night, but this didn’t really bother us as we were out ourselves.

It was a lovely safe place to stay restaurants and bars within the complex offered various types of food really good choices the pool was amazing and everything was spotlessly clean

In short we had a late flight and we enquired about keeping our room on to later in the day but were told that they were fully booked which is understandable and we accepted that but when it came to check out time there was nowhere to leave our luggage and no where to wash and change for our journey home so basically we lost the whole last day we had to sit in the shade until our 5.30 pm pickup

Fantastic location and good value in comparison to other accommodation prices. 6/7 minute walk to beautiful beach, 5 minutes into the main streets. Lovely restaurants and cafes all very close by. Stayed 8 nights, fresh linen and towels half way through.

Apartment very basic, shower poor, tv tiny. However we were out all day so not a huge minus for us. We literally slept and showered there. Some street noise during the night. Aircon in living area great, only a fan in bedroom.

The apartment was clean and spacious for two people. The location was excellent: right between the town, bars and restaurants, the boardwalk, the local supermarket, and the beach, all 5 to 10 minutes apart.

The main doors and windows could be better soundproofed. This isn't too much of an issue as the property is located near the outskirts of Alvor, and the street is generally quiet. But the main public hallway can also echo noisily, and you can hear people returning from a night out.

Good heating so the rooms weren't cold but the floor always was. That's only a minor personal issue though because I get very cold feet. No fan over the cooker rings, space left for one so the cupboard was open at the top and not the nicest view if you looked up to the hole in the wall.

The staff was really friendly. It has a really nice location close to the beach and at same time the city. The apartment was quite big.

The couch was not too confortable.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well fitted. The pool was great and the loungers were comfortable. The reception staff were very kind and helpful. We also were allowed leave our luggage until we needed to leave for our flight and get a shower by the pool. The location was great. 5 mins from the beach and the strip.

The beds weren’t very comfortable. We could hear noise until all hours. The pool staff were arrogant and rude.

Good location. Pool is great and chairs are constantly being cleaned and disinfected. Apartment was well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Staff was oolite and pleasant.

Needs a bathroom update, however is still well kept in general. Needs AC unit in the bedroom, only has a fan. Only one entrance/exit to the garage and also very tight for bigger cars. It is necessary two sets of key magnets to open the garage and building door, since one does not open the other and management wasn’t quite aware of it, leading us all to think something was wrong with the keys.

The location was perfect for Alvor bars and restaurants, there’s also lots of bars nearby. Easy walk to the beach. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We had 2 balconies! We overlooked a courtyard with bars and restaurants which were pretty quiet, however it may get noisier in the summer months. The pool area was amazing and very clean. All staff were helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
