The breakfast was spectacular--all the choices and the service were excellent! Our room was heaven! Large balcony with a view of the ocean and the cool breeze blowing! Little treats left daily! Cozy bed with a view of the ocean and moon every night was like a dream! Taking a shower, looking out to the ocean--WOW! I didn't want to leave our room, but Lagos is a wonderful place...so we had to see as much as possible with our 4 days there!

The ladies at the reception area were not very pleasant, but everyone else made up for that. It's a shame! How could they be so unhappy working in such a beautiful place?

Overall I had a great time in the Hotel. They have a good installation big bedrooms, nice title gym, good spa, nice swimming pool, very good restaurant and fantastic breakfast. The staff was all very friendly. The most amazing is the Hotel view to the beach. Stunning!

Room service all-day that makes a lot of noise for the ones who likes to take a nap after a long day in the evening. The pillows was too soft and old shower towers.

The only criticism is that the staff could have been proactive in asking guests who were sunbathing by the pool or garden if they would like any refreshments but we never saw any of the staff come down to where we were, this meant we had to keep going up on the terrace to ask for drinks, this doesn't make sense because the hotel could make more money if they did this.

The room was perfect, the staff were helpful and friendly and there are a range of facilities, pool, gym, spa, but as we were there in the middle of December we could not make use of the pool! The breakfast was excellent as was lunch and dinner. The location is good with an easy walk to the Farol at Ponta de Piedade from the hotel and a harder one to Luz. Just a short drive into Lagos. The hotel has impressive and well-maintained gardens. We will be back!!

Beautiful views of the ocean, very comfortable and great facilities. The restaurant was great also; breakfast options were good, and we'd a lovely dinner during our stay. We'd definitely return

It was a bit far from town, though we had a great (hilly) walk in - to the lighthouse first, and then into town. All up, that walk took about 1h15mins, including time to admire the views. Taxis for our other journeys were cheap and prompt.

We loved this hotel! Everything about it was perfect for our honeymoon. They were excellent with our airport transfer after our flight was massively delayed. When we arrived at 2am they greeted us with smiles and had chilled champagne in our room which was a lovely and thoughtful surprise! Breakfast was amazing, the cocktails were excellent and the view blew us away. We'll definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived we were wowed with this hotel. The welcome was generous and warm, the staff were attentive and the surroundings were everything you'd expect from a boutique hotel. The food was wonderful, and the Monkey Bar had a wide selection of drinks. I also enjoyed a few spa treatments which were carried out in a wonderfully relaxing space by excellent therapists - amongst the best massages I've ever had!

There was nothing to dislike!

The location is stunning. The views are amazing , the gardens are beautiful, the interior design is very modern and luxurious. The rooms were huge and we got an upgrade for our honeymoon, they also gave us champagne and petals on the bed on our first night. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a beautiful unique hotel.

The breakfast was strange. Everything came on individual plates and we were presented with the same small menu everyday. I would have liked more selection and the ability to go to a buffet and choose or to just have more variety on the menu. The restaurant had the same menu every night and was very expensive. This was fine for one night but not any more . A snack menu in the day would have been nice too.

The beautiful views of the ocean, the lovely grounds, the restaurant, the private use of the sauna and steam rooms, the staff, our room with the walkout terrace.

The bathroom had a window instead of a mirror over one sink that was visible directly outside. This was odd and a bit uncomfortable as it allowed no privacy in the bathroom.
