The food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing. There were multiple restaurants to suit your preferred choice of dining. The spa areas inside were amazing with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room. As well as a range of massage treatments available. There is also an outdoor pool and access to the sea to swim. The view from the rooms are spectacular. We had a view of the sunset from our room and restaurant terrace on different nights. It was fantastic!!

There is nothing I dislike. The hotel is fabulous.

There was an event planned during our stay so we were excluded from using the bar at the pool, which is a integral area for cocktails. We had no notification and had planned on using this space after dinner. The breakfast option is a good deal since the property is in a remote location, but the lack of quality for dinner options was very disappointing. The food was not enjoyable. Basically every meat option was over cooked and fish options were limited. I would not recommend the half board option. There is no nightlife here, so if guests need to enjoy the evening, it will be off site.

Let me preface this by saying I was raised in a hotelier family. So my standards are high. I spot what some don’t. Impressing me is tough. I have been a secret/ghost reviewer in many hotels/spas and restaurants across Asia, South Africa and the U.K. I travelled alone for 5 nights. This hotel and their staff are outstanding! From the moment of check in to when I left (with tears in my eyes driving to the airport) the staff are absolutely wonderful. Warm. Caring. Excellent attention to detail. Reception: The most breathtaking views on arrival. Lonely bar. Coffee served all day with a little cookie/treat. Piano in the evenings. Lovely art. Great books. Totally 5 star setting. Room: All have brilliant views. Very comfortable. Excellent pillows. Spa: A real treat. Jacuzzis where my best friends. The outdoor pool water was a little cold still for me (Warms up during May). Gym: Heavenly views. Perfect for all needs. Only suggestion would be a mirror in the weights area. Else using your reflection in the door is also doable. Food: I ate most of my meals in the restaurant next to the spa and gym. Light and Lean. I’m vegan and there was no problem finding food to eat. Tasty and consistent. Breakfast choice is good. Chef was more than happy to whip me up something for dinner too. Came over to me and had a chat/discuss what I could have. Maybe a full vegan offer/menu would be a good touch. Bus to old town: The final stop for the bus is at the hotel front door and car park. 15 mins right to the Pile Gate. 15kuna. Bargain! Lapad area: 15/20 mins walk from hotel, plenty local spots to eat and see. Very lovely. Hotel Kompas - Palace sister hotel, lovely views from Bar Zenith. Staff: The real gems! Utterly brilliant. The housekeeping staff, spa attendants and the staff on light and lean (also in the main restaurant)…remembering my order everyday, me not even have to ask. I cannot fault anything. Exceptional service and clearly have been trained...

At the prices charged one would expect water to be provided instead of having to buy from minibar. The note about not putting your Own drinks in the Minibar jarred. I do not like showers in baths which don't have rails for support.

A lovely hotel with all the facilities you would expect. Stunning views from the hotel and a spacious pool area, with steps to swim into the ocean. A good size room and breakfast. A nice spa area and gym.

This Hotel is amazing, the location is stunning, the Staff were so lovely, friendly, always had a lovely smile and greeting. The Reception Staff were so helpfull with anything that was asked and very professional. The food is lovely, the Hotel is so clean. The view from our apartment was breathtaking. There is a Bus Stop just outside the Hotel and the number 4 Bus will take you down town. This Hotel ticked All the boxes for me, I cannot rate it highly enough, and I cannot wait to go back.

The staff were superb and could not have been more friendly and helpful. They know how important tourism is to the region, which shows their willingness to make it a great stay. Staff training was first class. The location is also just perfect. Accessible bus (No4) into the Old Town and a fantastic place to run back to when the heat and bustle of Dubrovnik get too much. Spoilt for choice; do I swim in the clear sea, an outside pool with a bar or a beautiful and quiet inside pool with hot tubs, a sauna and a steam room? The Palace sits on a peninsula, with every room looking out to the Adriatic Sea with stunning views. Waking up every morning to that view was worth every penny.

The food was the only thing that fell below 5*. The meat was overcooked and the food was trying too hard (too many mixed flavours), which was a shame because it was served so well by the staff.

Hotel Dubrovnik Palace is excellent! + All rooms seem to have ocean view and balcony with 2 relax chairs. Our room had a perfect western view to the afternoon sun and sunset + Quiet comfortable rooms + The cleaning staff is doing a great job, as soon as we were out of the room they fixed the bedding and towels, really outstanding service + The staff is really good in English + Lot of sunchairs by the pool and beach. Very good initiative from the staff to remove used towels and free up the chairs so they are not blocked the whole day + The "restaurant" above the beach area serves very good food for lunch

- The food in Croatia in general seems not spicy, and the hotel restaurant buffet food is similar. Could be improved with some spicy sauces on the side - The hotel needs a small shop to buy candy and soft drinks/water bottles (closest shop is 2 km away) I understand the hotel makes more money if people buy at the bar, but for a hotel with this price level that should not be a concern...

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at, right next to the gorgeous blue sea, the room I had was spacious, comfortable and ahh the shower was so lovely! The pool facilities were also wonderful, before I checked in I could use the changing room to put on my bikini and chill there until the afternoon. The breakfast offering was huge, a really generous buffet that listed all allergens really clearly, being lactose intolerant I was so impressed with how much food I could have with no problem. The hotel is ideally located with a bus to the old town right outside and there are great restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately, on the second day there were ants in the bathroom. I reported the issue which was looked into very quickly but when I asked to be moved I got moved to a room that was smaller, which was somewhat frustrating. I then needed to ask to be moved to a room of the same size and a manager came down to assist me and help to move my luggage. When I checked out they took some room service and drinks off my bill as recompense which was appreciated. The time wasted and having to ask for the same kind of room tainted what would have been a completely perfect stay.

This hotel is amazing!! We had 3 rooms, 1 Junior Suite which had 2 bathrooms and 2 double rooms. All rooms were very big and spacious. You could easily sleep 4 people in these rooms with the pull out sofas but I don't think the hotel allows this which is why we booked an extra room. Rooms were VERY clean. We had a lovely patio overlooking the ocean with 2 loungers on the patio. The other 2 rooms also had a smaller patio with 2 chairs and a side table. The pool and beach area is beautiful. We ate several meals at the hotel and they were all amazing. The breakfast included in the room rate is the best hotel breakfast I have ever seen. There were so many options to choose from in the buffet and it was a great way to start our day with 4 kids aged 22-28. The bus into old town stops right outside the hotel and is a 15-20 minute bus ride. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a bit pricy but well worth the money!!
