The kids enjoyed it so much as well it’s family friendly. They had kids area which they loved as well as the. Pool they enjoyed It’s close to everything

Location was great a nice walk to the Etihad arena, good breakfast selection, check in smooth.

There was a very bad odour when we walked in the room which progressively got worse, I’m not sure if this was due to lack of cleaning or old pipes/tubes. We called room service and they agreed there was a bad smell in the room, & sprayed the room with air freshener lol. Due to the UFC, the hotel was fully booked and we could not change rooms.. it was a uncomfortable smelly night to say the least.

Everything was so cool, feels like every detail was thought of. The gym is amazing and the breakfast is wow.

A small bag of dried fruits from mini bar costed 60 AED, pretty bizarre with the fact the actual value of this is probably near 5 AED But whatever 🤷‍♂️

The room was spacious with a view of the marina, there was a bath and walk-in shower. You can connect devices to the TV which is also helpful. The bed is large and comfortable. The hotel is in a unique position as it is in the middle of the racetrack (on a Monday and Wednesday evening this is open to the public for cycling (bikes and helmets provided), you just need to register online beforehand. The hotel is also a short taxi ride away from SeaWorld, Ferrari World, WaterWorld and Warner Brothers.

The quality of food was questionable to say the least for a hotel of this quality. For the first time in probably 10 years I sent a dish back (Nasi Goreng with chicken satay) and at breakfast time there were regularly queues to be able to access. We ended up eating breakfast and meals elsewhere when we had the opportunity (very good at Yas Links golf club). Also, if travelling with children please note that you are limited to one pool only (there is a lack of shade and is a simple pool).

Fabulous location and appreciated the cosmetic upgrade (in the main) since rebranding to a W Hotel. The main reason for going back to this hotel again however was for the team working there and yet again, they didn’t disappoint. Anthony offered a proper 5* level of service and a real credit to the hotel. Saminda and Rikesh both also stood out as exceptional members of the Team.

The Sun Deck area is really starting to look tired and is in need of a bit of TLC. Also, the noise levels on the Wet Deck on occasions became unbearable as it appears the W is aiming for a younger, more party oriented audience. Please do not forget the over 50s in your thinking.

The room was fantastic. We had a beautiful view of the marina and sunrises were just glorious. There was some light ambience from the marina around us but that did not bother us at all. We loved hearing the sounds of people enjoying. The Fantastic Suite we had was spacious and the facilities brilliant. LOVED the option of a balcony as we don't really have that option in most hotel rooms in Perth, Australia.

I don't think there was anything we didn't like. I appreciate that the Fantastic Suite was at a higher price point but I think absolutely worth it given the level of service, the facilities available and the location which would be PRIME for any races at Yas Arena.

Great staff, very helpful. I traveled with my family, and we managed to get a connecting room. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We used taxis to travel within Abu Dhabi, which was not an issue to get in and out of this hotel.

The breakfast was a disappointment. It was an international breakfast, which did include a large range of food types. However, it wasn't to my taste. The seating was very crowded, and the outside seating, as amazing as it might look, was super noisy to enjoy. Also, one group of our family members stayed in the room facing the marina; they couldn't sleep all night due to the music blasting all night

Overall an excellent choice specially for a leisure stay.

The W is an incredibly stylish hotel. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is excellent with a very wide selection of fresh, high-quality food. The pool is small but very quiet and you can often get a cabana to relax (with a drink).

Not much to dislike to be honest. You should be aware though that it is situated inside the Yas Marina F1 track and they do daily track days so during the day there is noise from the cars. But it's all part of the experience.
