It was clean and well kept. Staff was great. Hotel had a pool, which was a challenging thing to find in other hotels in the area.

Had to ask for new wash cloths and towels a few times, only 2 in the room. Also, I changed my arrival and departure date on the Booking.com app, and received confirmation of the change, but the hotel had no idea. It some how was not communicated to them. Not their issue though, but they were able to rectify the issue.

Location downtown was quiet and safe and revealed an attractive part of Watertown that we would never have known if we had stayed close to the I-81 as we normally do. Lovely swimming pool, large for a hotel. Good breakfast.

Hallways could do with renovation, fairly drab although room was fine. Exercise room too small, no place for stretching.

Breakfast was very good. No complaints. All of the staff we met were very personable, friendly and all had a ready smile and instant greeting. The cookies and coffee were a comforting gesture.

The mattress was firmer than I like but I know people who prefer that. Also I found the location of the light switch in the bathroom was odd. It being behind the door hinges made it awkward, maybe placed outside the room or even on the other side of the doorway?

We were in the area for a visit to Sackett's Harbor and Alexandria Bay. Decided to stay in Watertown as the hotel prices were definitely more comprable and there was a better selection of hotels to choose from. The hotel was clean; lobby was bright and cheerful. The staff including both the front desk and housekeeping we're always friendly and courteous. Our hotel room was a deluxe King. I found it to be very bright and clean; also very cozy which was nice because it rained a fair amount of time we were there. The other guests were nice and quiet; never had to worry about noise . We had a Mini fridge and microwave in our room. Great for storing and heating up any leftovers for a late night snack. The hotel had a really nice indoor pool with Sundeck. Allows visitors to go swimming all year round. There was a decent sized Fitness room adjacent to the pool- definitely enough equipment for anyone wanting to get in a workout while away. Complimentary Hot Breakfast is served in the morning to all guests between 6 -10 a.m. Regardless if you were early or on the later side to breakfast, the kitchen never ran out of anything. Definitely a most comfortable stay. Perfect hotel for a long weekend getaway. I would definitely stay at the BW downtown Watertown again.

The Hotel room was a little bit on the cool side.

The breakfast was good and room was clean. Staff was friendly. Pool was great and water was warm so my little ones loved it! Thursday evenings there are free fresh cookies which my 3 year old loved.

Bathroom in basement (near breakfast room) was dirty and had a bad smell that was noticable even in the hallway.

it was fine. we had no issues. the rim was as expected. we only needed to sleep there.

the person at check out was oblivious. he kept trying to charge me after I was already charged. he snatched my room key and tossed it on the counter. He made the entire interaction as check out very uncomfortable. He needs more training and possibly someone to supervise him.

It was easy to find. Parking was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. There was an adequate amount tables in the breakfast room. The Wi-Fi was easy to use, fast and free. The room had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker.

There was no extraction fan in the bathroom. For us the indoor pool room was too hot to try the pool.

Breakfast was great, especially for traveling with small children. The location was very convenient. The staff was accommodating for my needs (children making a mess and needing extra towels).

The big bed we got , AC worked great and breakfast , the staff at the breakfast was very nice he was very efficient and always had a smile.

Bathroom doesn’t have a fan , the fridge should have a complimentary water bottle .

beautiful room on corner of second floor. Large and delicious breakfasts. Friendly staff. Close to Arcade for dining and shopping. Easy to get in and out of town from Best Western.

The toilet tank flap did not work and two different days it was not reported onto the "to do" list. Finally fixed quickly when repairman was standing there listening. Did not expect that the maid would not come in to the room at all for the 6 days we were there. But she did give us towels etc. when we asked.
