The staff were all so friendly and willing to assist. We loved the location as it was out of the city centre and had a great Hawkers Market across the road. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Singapore and it will be even better as the metro should then be finished and it will make transport so much easier. We spent two nights here prior to boarding a cruise with our adult childre, so we booked 3 rooms and our request to be close to each other was met as our rooms were all side by side. The shower was good, the beds comfortable and the rooms very clean.

It would have been nice to have umbrellas near some of the sunbeds by the pool.

Big room and large bed, single provided for my son. Great location close to shopping mall. Excellent pool and gym. Close to cheap hawker market and short walk to East Coast Park.

The staff were top, the rooms are exceptionally large, the pool is nice, the breakfast buffet fantastic and very generous, the Hotel hosts an international variety of down to earth people and you meet lovely families from Singapore also, all of which gives you a sense of belonging. We stayed a week here and loved it! It was a home away from home. We will stay here again next time we come to Singapore.

We had to take a bus to the Metro, to go downtown, but they built a new MRT station in front of the Hotel, which will open in a few months.

We arrived around 3 a.m but had booked the room for the night and warned them we would be checking in very late. All went well with check in and up to our king room. Nice clean, neat and everything we needed, fridge, TV, safe, desk, chair, robes, slippers, partial view of the ocean, all good. The room had the best black-out curtains, we've ever seen. We arrived at 3:30 am and slept well into the morning as the room was so dark it felt like night, fantastic, the best, thank you! They have a very nice pool, large deck area with table and chairs and many lounge chairs. Towels were provided. Very nice place to relax after shopping. Breakfast buffet was included, very large, tasty and varied, a mix of western and Asian food. Great service. The hotel has a great location near shopping and a good food court across the main road. Also restos, bars and more to the north along the other major road. No airport shuttle anymore but by the end of '23, the MRT is supposed to be finished and the station is right in front of the hotel so will be very easy transport from Changi. The friendly doorman helped get a taxi to the airport. Taxi from the airport a 2 a.m. was $25 and $15 back during the day. Overall, nice rooms, great location, friendly efficient staff, tasty breakfast buffet all make this a hotel we could return to at any time.

We had a two night stay in Singapore and wanted to be out of the Bay Area. we chose this hotel as its half way from the airport. The hotel is really nice, modern facilities and stylish. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff really helpful. the Laundry was a nice addition as we had the chance to wash some clothes and continue our vacation.

It was unusual on check in we were charged $50 holding deposit for incidental’s. However the fridge in the room had nothing in it, no bottled water provided or vending machines. on check out I asked why would we be charged a holding deposit and they staff member said it’s hotel policy! maybe it’s for room service if you use they service??

Clean & comfortable hotel . Staff excellent & very helpful - reception, concierge, porters & room service . Had note from 'Ruby' stating room cleaned (& yes was cleaned thoroughly everyday) ,. The best was of course, returning late at the end of a hectic day, tired, to find a large slice of great tasting cheese cake stating ' Happy birthday ' for my son .

Slightly away from the main centre but that was known - not too inconvenient though since GRAB or Taxi (or even public transport ) can be used - for a family of 4 came out not expensive . MRT line is being built & will be even more accessible . Of course , because of the location much cheaper stay in comfort

The room was really spacious and without being asked they brought an extra bed and third set of towels (I was travelling with my two children) which other hotels have needed to be asked multiple times for. There are MTR works taking place just outside the hotel, but nothing we could hear in our room. The area is great - really interesting history, Perankan (chinese-malay) buildings, lots of nice cafes, restaurants and little shops. Not so far from the airport and the Jewel, but also easy enough to access town. Definitely worth staying here and exploring this area more, particularly if you are looking for somewhere for just one night in S'pore as it's very convenient for the airport.

Slightly dated feel to the room - shower curtain rather than a screen for example - and corridors had low level lighting that made it gloomy. But these are small issues.

Comfortable modern hotel in the heart of charming Katong Staff was very helpful and accommodating - I left my insulin pen in the room. They initially found it, but then misplaced it again, but they replaced the pen and were very apologetic

I thought the room rate was a bit high for the neighbourhood (outside of downtown Singapore), although upon comparison the rate was competitive with other hotels in the area There were some renovations at the lobby, and ongoing constructions and road diversions for a new metro (subway) station outside the property
