The cost quality ratio is what attracts most of us to this hotel and of course the perfect location as its right on Robertson Quay. I have stayed here many times so I know what to expect. On the upside we have the location and proximity to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and Great World shopping centre. Its quiet and decent.

The gym is too small and not properly ventilated. Essentially its a metal shed on the roof which makes the atmosphere in it somewhat horrendous unless you are there alone and in the very early morning that the serious heat hasn't hit yet. There is no lobby to sit in apart from the adjacent restaurant. Breakfast is mundane. Finally the BIG problem is that the software they use at the front desk is problematic - On check out, I was asked to pay for things that had already been paid. The keycard demagnetizes often. Generally the front desk staff have a difficult time and share that with the guests.

The room was nice, with lots of mirrors and lights, although still slightly dark to my liking. One of the lights wasn't working but was quickly rectified upon notification to the reception. I even lost my room key and the staff were really helpful. I did enjoy that they have a coffee machine in the room with multiple options for tea. Breakfast has a robot cooking your omelet which was a first for me.

The room size is slightly small but was good enough. The table could be bigger to do some work. Breakfast was pretty limited in choice and was similar throughout my 5 nights there. Shower pressure could be a tad stronger and the swimming pool is also slightly on the smaller side. Location wise it is not close to any MRT station for now, with one opening in November. Value wise I think the price is too high.

The location was fairly central, although we still had to take a car to travel as it was too humid in Singapore to walk around. Modern facilities and vibe. Close to a small variety of restaurants. The cleaning staff were very friendly and our room got cleaned everyday impeccably! We used the room as just a place to chill and sleep, we didn;t get to use the pool as we were so busy but overall, a simple yet comfortable stay.

Room was a tad on the smaller side but still had everything we needed.

We were upgraded to a Loft Premier room and it was great, the room is small but they have maximised the usage of the space. It was well decorated and was bright and lovely to be in.

The bathroom is quite compact and didn't have the best ventilation but this was a minor problem. The location we found was a 30 to 40 minute walk to main attractions and in the humidity this could be challenging for some people. One thing to note is the bed was a double size bed, not a queen or king. My partner and I are 5ft 9 and 6ft 4 and it was very cosy. The swimming pool and gym, the location on the riverfront and near Chinatown and the Zion hawker market, the bed was very comfortable too.

The floors could all be hoovered more or the hotel could invest in better hoovers. For a four star hotel I felt that it could be better. They could have more local dishes at breakfast and a better variety of fruit (mangoes, avocado, jack fruit...) too.

The room was beautiful. Lots of people complained about space but we were fine with 2 big luggage and 2 handluggage. I just popped them on the wardrobe stand when we didn't use them. There is space on the floor to open them but will obstruct the bathroom door. Was not an issue. The loft area to sit on is small but a lovely addition. The staff we're super lovely. We were so jet-lagged and asked about the option of late check out which they gave for free till 1pm. We embarrassingly slept slightly past this and they were understanding. They also let us use the pool and shower until we left that evening.

The bathroom struggled to ventilate quickly but this is minor. The area has a variety of restaurants right outside the hotel next to the river that are a bit pricy. There was one restaurant that was cheaper right next door where we ate several times. We took a taxi everywhere. Quiet area with not much to do. Great for relaxing though.

The hotel was located in a cosy and quiet area along the Singapore River. It is walking distance to several restaurants/ bars/ cafes/ convenience stores and a few bus stops away from malls. The staff were really friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out went smoothly. We stayed in the loft room, which is a bit more spacious than their other room I stayed in during my previous visit. The room and toilet were quite clean and the bed was very comfortable.

There were some water stains around the sink and a bit of dust on the sofa on the 2nd floor. We had problems connecting our phones to the TV so we couldn't use it to watch our shows. Some floorboards on the 2nd floor are a bit uneven and feels unstable when stepped on, might be a safety issue if maintenance is not done soon.

The check in staff was great this time! looks like a seasoned lady who knows her stuff! Initially got a room which had no curtain blinds in middle window and felt rather uncomfortable due to the exposure. But after we feedback to the staff at recep, and after sending technician and doing checks, they made arrangements for us to switch room - the room we initially requested for but was unavailable at check in. The staff at the check in counter (a man this time) was polite and friendly and assisted us in the switch. The stay was great - clean room, friendly housekeeping and experience at check in was positive too!

They could have told us about the defective blinds at check in, and ask if we are okay with that. Other than this, the stay had been great!

half of the staff at reception is excellent - half really needs training and a good mood unfortunately… so just have to be lucky it seems when you check in or need something. it’s a very nice place, but do bear in mind that rooms are small. and one thing that could be improved: swimming pool- it’s nice on the 5th floor (outside), but they should just decorate it and have the bar open, and make it appealing. so easy, and would bring much added value.
