Centrally located large hotel with good amenities. Reception needs to be re-organised for quicker service at peak times - no formal line up or queue - more staff required on check in desk. The rooms on the 22nd floor are spacious, clean and tidy. These rooms will soon need refurbishing with brighter decore.The hallways on this floor also will need new carpet and perhaps some wall features wold add to the ambience. The room lighting needs LED fixtures as reading or writing in room was made difficult of an evening with low lighting. Room cleaning was excellent and linen was clean, crisp anf white. The Executive Guest Lounge for members located in the foyer needs to be made more exclusive and have better seating - perhaps this is also in need of a re-vamp-upgrade soon. The dining area was well lit and food areas about right. However, the seating arrangements and table set out could be reconfigured to suit singles, couples and families so that a large table is not occupied by one or two people only. The food and its presentation was expansive each day. The staff in this area were excellent in service and welcome, and were efficient and professional.

Reception area quite disorganised and not as appears on website. A vast area with no organised lines or queue area. Understaffed for such a large hotel.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. My son really enjoyed making his own waffles 🧇 complimentary towels by the pool, very comfy beds and extremely comfy pillows in the room. Microwave in the lobby, fridge in the room

Slight fusty smell in corridors but it didn’t spoil our stay.

Booked an executive room which included the lounge and breakfast. Ivy and her colleagues looked after us from 6-8pm with some great G&Ts. The hotel is a little edgy but very clean & comfortable. At SS$20 per drink in most Singapore bars the lounge is great value.

We didn't like the poor reviews from people who don't understand the relevance between what you pay for and what you get. If you want 5 stars go & pay for it.

Nothing special to report except that my son really enjoyed the pool.

all went well, except that the housekeeping has left, one day, our room opened the whole day in our absence. No consequence though, but it was reported to prevent reoccurrence. Otherwise, all is good

The location of this hotel was excellent. Right in the heart of the city. Very close to shopping malls with access to lots of restaurants which was very handy. The room was large. The view from our room was amazing!! Staff we very friendly and helpful.

The room could have been cleaner. We had the cleaner in during our stay but to be honest it seemed like all they did was tidy the beds and throw the rubbish out. There was no cleaning of the floor or surfaces in my opinion. The bathroom was not very clean with some black mouldy areas and the shower attachment was also a little mouldy.

Great location and helpful staff. Room was very clean and tea/coffee making facilities available along with water and a fridge . Nice view from our room.

At breakfast guests were required to wear masks and a glove (provided) when accessing the buffet breakfast. This wasn't enforced by the restaurant staff and we saw numerous occasions of guests picking up food eg rolls and putting it back down. Sneezing around the food whist not wearing a mask. We spoke to the hotel host at breakfast about this, but they didn't seem interested. Drinks were from a machine and the coffee was awful, it was left on most tables.

Furama City Centre is amazingly located in the heart of Singapore's Chinatown. The best food the city has to offer literally minutes from the hotel. - The hotel seems old, but in revamped state. Staff is friendly and responds fast and tries to bring solutions whenever there is an issue. - The rooms are spacey and clean - there is not a lot of sound coming from neighboring rooms or the hallway. - I always love a bath tub - there were sufficient options for lighting. - The bed was great

- There were quite some ants in the room that seemed to be attracted to any food stored in the room. - no electrical socket on the right side of the bed - water temperature was too cold in the evenings, so too cold to use the bath tub - There was no toilet brush. I felt a bit embarrassed as I could not brush it clean after usage - the airconditioning was either too cold or too hot. It turned off and on the whole night, waking us up many times during our stay.

Very close to the areas we wanted to see and right near a MRT station. So easy to get around. Pool was lovely and nice rooms.

Only thing we didn’t like was the shower was temperamental, water fluctuations from hot and cold.

Location was in Chinatown and next to MRT so was very handy getting around the city. The room we had was on the 21st floor which had great views of the city (and was quiet). Rooms are a little dated but they are clean. My husband used the gym and the pool we didnt get too but it looked inviting/well used. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a lot of different options. It set us up for the day exploring.

Not a negative thing per se but just to note, although you have your do not disturb sign up/dont require cleaning, they will still call you to tell you that we missed housekeeping and the room clean. So be prepared for a phone call when you get back to your room (they must be able to see you swipe in).

tiffany restaurant breakfast was good. staff in the restaurant friendly. concierge staff very friendly.

we were given a room with no city view and it was on the 4th floor which meant the window view was simply the hotel lounge. when we booked in, staff in reception were not very welcoming. we didn’t realise breakfast only included 3 people and we ended up paying for my 6 years old daughter’s breakfast who never really ate much. the room was okay but stained walls, no air conditioning, only set at room temperature. the room had a bad smell and the shower was broken and they needed to replace it.
