Very good breakfast. Excellent service for Millenium members in the lounge. Very courteous staff at each point starting and ending at the reception (even though the computer at reception takes too long to respond - it seems). The old lady handling my laundry on 16th floor was Extremely polite and attentive. The house keeping were very efficient.

A) Very Important The neighbourhood of Orchard House is a bit shady and the 17th floor lounge seems to have no objection to such companions accompanying the guests there, even though other families are present (wives & daughters of guests) B) The computer speed at the reception - Both for check in and for check out. C) The Lounge did not have any normal scotch whiskey for the entire duration of my 5 days stay and kept serving me bourbon whiskey.

Great location. Easy walking distance to Orchard Rd shops. So easy to get around, there's a supermarket behind the hotel along with a pub and cafe. Room was great, very clean, modern, quiet and well set up. Bed was huge and shower was really strong (and hot). Theres a bar fridge to store snacks. There are usb charging ports all around the room, heaps of power points, plus a kettle, hairdryer and ironing board + iron. Pool is good, quite a few lounges, some tables and some covered areas out of the sun too. I used the gym a few times on my stay - it has free weights, some cardio and strength machines and a lat pulldown etc. Wifi was fast and easy to connect to and stayed connected as you moved around the hotel. And the lifts are fast! which is a plus in a hotel of this size. It was busy due to a long weekend and I never had to wait around long. I didn't get to try the breakfast as the line was out the door on the public holiday Monday - i'd recommend definitely pre-booking breakfast the night before to get a spot and the cheaper rate.

I couldn't figure out how to turn off the large 'frame' light around the tv when the main power switch was on, and i didn't like how the tv turned on every time you came into the room and put your keycard in the power slot thing. A minor issue!

I like that the room is spacious, the bathroom has separate space for bathtub and shower, the elevator was fast and always available, the breakfast food was delicious and the location of the hotel were great. I also appreciate how kind and helpful the front desk staff, the bell boy and the housekeeping team were.

I do not like that the rooms were not well lit, it was rather dark at night, sometimes the bed sheets and the pillows smells like it has not been washed properly. In addition, the staff at the Orchard Cafe can use a little bit more training on customer service. I understand that its early and there were many people but not enough staff but they were rather impolite and looks angry at times.

the hot water was scorching hot, I mean first degree burn hot, and even on the coldest setting the sink tap was too hot to wash your hands. my wife and I all got first degree burns, we made tea and coffee with the water from the tap because it was so hot.

location. location. location. the bar was excellent.

everything has to be done through check-in. I wanted to pay for my laundry (or they wouldn’t deliver it) I was told to join the queue! it took 30 minutes just to pay for my laundry! also, I was told I hadn’t paid for the hotel car from the airport. this was taken when I checked in. running the hotel with few staff and charging the Earth.

Very strategic location, and the room met my expectation, The breakfast is very good. The FO staffs are very helpful and good hospitality. I don't need long time to check out because I could leave my room key in the box check out.

There is no hairdryer in the room that made undried my hair. I think the hotel need to improve the queue management. I took 10 minutes to enter the restaurant.

The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The location puts it within walking distance of malls, restaurants, eateries and groceries within the Orchard Road area. The breakfasts were varied and very enticing.

It took a while for the hot water in the bathroom to come out for the shower. The staff, though very polite and efficient, has a language problem and it was hard for them to understand English. We had a problem of repeatedly telling the staff to include our breakfast with our hotel bill. We also had this issue of including children's breakfast which had to be paid separately.

Swimming pool is big and comes with jacuzzi. Big beds, spacious room, separate shower and long bath. Nice location and friendly staffs(check-in staffs and bellboy)

Dirty window, stains on the toilet door and table. Cracked mirror, one bathtub tap was missing a cap. Rusty hair dryer. The reception area had a very strong perfume smell.
