The property was in close proximity (walking distance) to orchard road and Mount Elizabeth hospital. The rooms were well equipped and clean. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils to make a meal.

It would have been ideal to have a washing machine in each apartment or in a general area in the building as the laundry charges are very expensive. The room also did not come with a microwave.

Location, staff and comfort of rooms superb. Pool was excellent and the hotel was clean and welcoming.

Only additions that would improve the stay would be 1) a laundrette 2) some form of vending machine for snacks and/or drinks.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great locations, easy access to multiple bus stops and MRT on Orchard Rd and Scotts Rd. Many food courts within the shopping centres, restaurants and coffee shops along the roads. Good water pressure. Three times a week cleaning services. There is a designated delivery table at lobby, super easy for collecting. Coin laundry and dryer are available. Detergent does not need to be purchased as it is pre-loaded in the machine - super convenient.

Out of the four pillows provided, one was mouldy. A 7-10 minute walk to most bus or MRT stops. The footpaths are not wide, so they can be busy and crowded depending on the time. It's not a major issue, but it is something to be aware of. The walls are not well soundproofed; I could hear the guests in the next room chatting, literally. The windows connecting to the balcony are not well soundproofed either. The birds constantly make noise, which can be quite disturbing if you are a light sleeper.

Great location, 5min walk to Paragon shoppin mall and about 10mins walk to the Orchard MRT station. Stayed at the 1-bedroom and the room was spacious. Love that we have the balcony, full sized fridge and working kitchen. Lobby area has coffee and fresh water available at all times. Umbrellas available too.

The shampoo/soap was not replenished. Property has thin walls, and can be a bit noisy (from the construction sound, or the buzzing sound around the area - luckily area was quite quiet and residential). Not a lot of tv channel options, and I couldn't connect my phone to my tv.

Once we oriented ourselves with Oakwood's location and got to know the area better we were very happy with the location which is only a short walk from the lovely Paragon Shopping Centre (which has a terrific supermarket in the basement, handy for stocking up in the kitchenette in our rooms), public transport (MRT station at Orchard/Tang Plaza and buses just outside the Nike store on Orchard Road), all the many and varied shops and shopping malls along Orchard Road and should it be required (hopefully not!) Elizabeth Hospital and Urgent Care which is also a short walk away. The rooms were well set up and laid out, spacious, clean, comfortable and the amenities were very good. The free Nespresso coffee machine and biscuits in the lobby were a bonus and the pool looked lovely and inviting (although in the end there was sadly no time to take advantage of it!)

The one single complaint in the two rooms we had was the lack of a power point in the bathrooms to be able to use the hairdryer near the mirror (and in the case of my mother's room: it was nowhere near the mirror at all). We were able to use the hairdryer over the desk but the power cord on the hairdryer was so short and tightly coiled that it kept pulling from the socket when trying to use the mirrored wardrobe door. One other thing that my Mum mentioned in her bathroom was the poor lighting, which no matter where she stood (either using the mirror over the vanity or the mirrored wardrobes) cast her face in shadow - not great for a lady trying to apply her make up!

Excellent location, especially if you have appointments at Mt Elizabeth Orchard or surrounding areas. The close proximity to Paragon, Far East Plaza, Mt Elizabeth, among others is the greatest benefit of this property in my opinion. The room/apartment is exactly what I need and nothing I don't need...

Laundrette service should be free/more affordable and easily accessible 24 hours. There should also be more breakfast/catering options

Location is a 5minute walk from Paragon Mall, right across from Mount Elizabeth Hospital. It was a bit incline, but not bad at all. But maybe elderly people will struggle a bit. Stayed in the one-bedroom (two people) and the room was quite large with a very good sized kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom has a good bidet too. There were also two 55inch televisions.

I wish we can throw the garbage everyday. Cleaning service is every other day, and that's okay, but I just wish there is a garbage disposal because it does pile up since we like to order in. Also I think we have to bring our own soap & shampoo since they only provided us with 1 small bottle of shampoo & soap (for two people) for our week long stay.

Extraordinary accommodation with very kind and professional staff. Apartment was spacious, bright, clean, with perfect layout, huge bathroom, big balcony with direct entrance to it from both, living room and the bedroom. It has a good kitchen with necessary home appliances for short or long stay. The bed is very comfortable with great bed sheets. Thick curtains to protect from the sun and heat. Very good aircon and wifi. It's situated in wonderful location in the walking distance ( less than 10 min) to the Shopping Mall Paragon and famous Orchard Road. It's less than 15 min walk to the nearest MRT Somerset so guest with light luggage can easily arrive from the airport even with MRT transport for less than 3 sgd. By taxi it will cost about 30 sgd to reach this place. Swimming pool is of decent size with lovely viiew from the seating area next to it and it's very cosy place to spend the late evening there. I would definitely stay again in the same studio apartment if its available and if the price is acceptable.

There is nothing negative one could mention regarding this accommodation. It's perfect home away from home.

It’s a nice, quiet and well located location. We also got a much appreciated upgrade. The studio was very clean and had a washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc. Staff was kind enough to let me print a few pages for a presentation that I had to give elsewhere.

The fact that they send us to the room while there were still guests in the room was awkward and that is an understatement. Staff was a bit too nonchalant. The shower is terrible, hot to cold and back. There was no microwave. I’ve asked for a specific invoice that they would take care of, but didn’t.
