The hotel is in very good shape. Very clean, quiet and in excellent location. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And the room itself was excellent, the bed was one of the best hotel beds I have had.

The breakfast was not even close to what one could expect from such a hotel. There was no buffet available, so you had to choose from a list and the portions were small and not very tasty. Pool area did not have any service at all, and there is no 24/7 room service available. I don't know if all of these issues are impacted by the covid restrictions but it's not something you would expect from such a premium hotel.

Breakfast buffet was overpriced for what it was. Almost no hot foods, mostly deli meats and cheeses.

The staff were brilliant. We contacted them the day before regarding an early check in. As my husband is an Accor member, we were also offered a late check out as we weren't catching a flight until later in the day. They also put a complimentary cake and beautiful card in our room as we mentioned that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Great attention to detail.

I definitely wouldn't say that we didn't like anything. Our only disappointment was the breakfast selection for the calibre and price of the hotel. All staff were very friendly from check in, breakfast, right through to check out. We also made the mistake of not realising that the 'city centre' was the business district, which is still 15 mins car trip to Orchard Rd, but that is on us.

Hotel is new and really like the facilities and rooms. All is in beautiful style, very clean and modern. Room itself is very spacious with all the necessary amenities just the small fridge was empty when willing to have some snacks and drinks. Breakfast was also very good with decent selection, just would enjoy to have more seasonal fruits and fresh juices. Pool area was also very nice but very limited space for sunbeds.

Reception personal (particularly one gentleman who was either a supervisor or a senior) was very rude on the check-in not willing to give any detailed hotel information or recommendations what to see. Just gave a booklet and did not involve in a conversation. Location is bit far to be walking distance to the main areas but still possible just takes 30-35 minutes to the main points so more convenient to take a taxi always.

no minibar supply on arrival they informed me that room cleaning was every 2nd day. having not book a camping i objected and then they came every day. May be they confuse saving the planet with saving money 😉 in the end it was perfect/fantastic

I mostly stayed in my room, so that'll be the only thing I comment on. I loved the layout and the size of the room. I enjoyed the different spots I could occupy (the lounge chair was super comfy!) to engage in different activities even within the room itself. While I didn't make use of the gym equipment, I thought it was awesome that it had been provided in the first place.

1) No bidet in the bathroom 2) Unable to connect personal devices (e.g. iPad) to the TV via HDMI. I genuinely believe that allowing for this could be advertised as an added advantage of staying at Sofitel, because some of us do book a staycation just to Netflix and chill. 3) Ambient light is quite bright. This comes from the bedside clock as well as the touchscreen panels at the sides of the bed. When all the other lights are switched off at night, the light emitted by these sources can be uncomfortably bright. Addressing these will push this hotel towards a score of a perfect 10!

Prestige Suite - Room was spectacular, especially the bathroom and comfy King bed. Many thanks to the kind staff and hotel for accomodating to my request for a surprise cake delivery for my boyfriend's birthday, staff even sang a song! It really made our night. Location of hotel is also super convenient and accessible to many locations, it made planning our staycation a lot easier. Nothing but praises and compliments this time - thank you Sofitel.

Wish that hotel toilet has a bidet but that's only a tiny flaw.

Ambience & decor was chique. Rooms were stylish, lots of leather & wood. View of cityscape good for chilling out. Quiet. Gym was great. Room was clean. Toiletries were high quality. Location was great!

Noise insulation from toilet was poor - issue for room sharing. No mini bar. Price was a little high for the package.

Superb location, beautiful modern room, spotlessly clean and spacious, amazing view, professional staff.

Some technical issues as the air-conditioning couldn’t be adjusted and was quite cold in the room. Breakfast was ok with not much hot dishes.
