Great location, very good value for money. Friendly helpful staff. Moderate to good comfort. Ideal for young couple, business partners visiting Singapore for a few days or older seasoned travellers. Persons who thought they should stay in a hostel or somewhere cheap should give this hotel serious consideration. We stayed there because of budget and we would stay there again even if we could pay more elsewhere. Not every eating place is open early in Singapore. We are early risers (6am) but managed to find one or two open at 7am in the same street as the property and Chinatown is literally 5 minuites walk away. We stayed in room 206, two single beds, a/c, TV, good internet, curtains close properly for good sleep, modern shower, toilet, mattresses firm but comfortable.

It was only a small minor thing but we had to get the room key reset a few times. There is a temple very close to the property which we know can sometimes be loud but from our room we could not hear a thing. Keep this in mind and ask for room away from that side of the property if that could be a problem.

Very good location in a charming street of old "chop houses" at the southern end of Chinatown, close to all sorts of different restaurants. A short walk from Outram Park Metro station (it took us about 40 minutes from the airport). There were a number of different people on Reception and all were friendly and helpful. Perfect for a city break where you do not intend to spend any time in the hotel apart from sleeping - and the bed was comfortable.

We booked a windowless room which was tiny - half a metre either side of the bed, but room for our luggage at the end of the bed. A small shower/loo - you practically have to sit on the loo to take a shower. But we were aware of all this when we booked and since we only wanted to sleep there, it was fine. If you plan to spend waking time in the room, it would probably be better to pay for a room with a window!

The location was perfect for us, right in the middle of Chinatown. There wasn't a breakfast option in this hotel. The room was exactly how we expected not big but we know that anyway, we didn't expect to spend a lot of time in the room, there was a nice lounge you could sit in if needed. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Because we did our research we new exactly what to expect so I can't say there was anything we didn't like.

Near budget friendly eating places - along Keong Saik. Tip: at the corner there is a place that sells cheap but good food (Etch Grill) and drinks (drinks are cheaper than 7/11). There is Killeney nearby (Try Kaya Toast!) Near 7/11 7 minute walk to Tooth Relic Temple, road beside there are shops that sells souvenirs. 1 of them sells 30 key chains for 10SGD Near Outram and Maxwell Station (3-5min walk respectively) There are parks nearby (Outram - didn't go, but we walked in Duxton Plains Park) It's a really nice neighborhood - the buildings are quaint so it was nice to walk around Staff are friend and prompt It was easy to locate for car services as well (we used 2232 Transport to go to Legoland Malaysia, they were cheaper compared to others and the cars are nice) They have Bidet

It really needs renovation - the lock to the door of the balcony is not working very well Ref does not get cold TV won't connect to the wifi (staff said it really does not) Wifi didn't reach our room that well (2/F)

The front office staff made my stay especially Este and her team. They were so helpful. Allowed an upgrade to a room with a window and allowed for an early check in. They made a very stressful trip extremely pleasant. I even used the lobby area and they made sure I was comfortable for the duration of my stay. Definitely recommend for a trip to Singapore on a budget.

No fridge and room can be small if you're travelling in a large group. WiFi can be a little slow depending on where you are in the hotel but good connection in the lobby.

Location is great.

Should replace per day for towels and pure water.

Very clean room and hotel situated in the vibrant Chinatown district of Singapore. Good value for money with friendly staff and all essential amenities. Stayed here twice whilst transiting from Europe to Australia and enjoyed both stays. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, reception is operating 24/7 and any extra needs such as more toilet roll or towels are immediately accommodated. Fabulous air conditioning in reception and all rooms, nice communal area to relax with vending machines and good Wi-Fi signal.

The location. Easy walking distance to the center of. Chinatown and MRT stations. Good air-conditioning. The Guild bar over the road has a great selection of good draught beer and keeps topping up your water glass. Staff lovely, especially Nana.

Nighttime music from the bar over the road. Would have been nice to have a selection of tea rather than just nescafe. No bedside light had to get out of bed to turn the main light off.

The place smells so good. From the lobby and to our room, the place was clean and fragrant. Staffs speak in english and very accomodating. I like it when they bring the luggages to our rooms already while we are out and waiting for check-in. Near to cheap hawkers, and supermarket. Mrt, bus stops are near to walk which make commuting easier

The elevator going to 3rd floor seems troublesome. Whenever we tap 3rd floor, the elevator would suddenly go to 2nd floor.

The room was exactly like the photograph. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was hot and had good pressure! These were the two main things we needed as most days were spent outdoors exploring the city! The location was ideal. The hotel is located on a quite street in China town so at night time it wasn’t too loud, however, there was still a nice atmosphere and people around the nearby restaurants and bars. I would recommend others to stay here as it is good value for money for a private hotel room in Singapore!

The WiFi didn’t work so well at times but it was fine for our purposes!
