The Rancho California Inn, in Temecula was the right choice for us I love the cleanliness that this Inn offers... Sheets and towels Were up to my standards... The downstairs units have no carpet on the floors which is awesome for someone like me who suffers with allergies... No complaints here I will definitely be booking again And not to mention it was close to everything that we needed Right at our fingertips.

The decor of the room could definitely use some upgrades.

Rancho California Inn is in a great location. The family who runs it is very accommodating and friendly. There is a small pool area we enjoyed during our stay. There are chairs and a table with an umbrella. The room was clean and had everything we needed, fridge,microwave,coffee maker.The decor is a little dated but, I don't really worry about the looks if things are clean.

It would be nice if there were a lounge chair or 2 in the pool area. It looked as if they had them, but someone had ruined them and they were still sitting off to the side. That was really the only thing that could have made the stay a bit better.

It was quite comfortable and spacious and clean and the hotel maid came by everyday, very pleasant and accomodating. It is well within walking distance to the old town, we loved that aspect

cost jumped from 70 to 140 thursday to friday, saturday and sunday much to much, having said that, it was labor day weekend and we were in town for a wedding

The room was quiet despite being so close to busy part of town and the freeway. Excellent location to get to everywhere. The housekeeping staff are amazing, the bed was made perfectly.

smell of cigarettes despite being "no smoking." Room was ok, but not a place to hang out.

If you stay anywhere else in this price range you are making a mistake. The rooms are wonderful clean and smell nice. Such an upgrade for only a few dollars more than motel 6. Mini fridge and microwave was wonderful. The staff was exceptionally friendly. He saw me sitting in my car waiting to check-in at the given time and invited me in to check in early. Who does that? Wonderful.

We personally enjoyed this non-chain hotel. It had a personal feel to it, and the front desk reception/lobby was very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable, no odors, had a tv, fridge, coffee maker, iron and blow dryer. We loved the bright lighting in the bathroom and vanity (these are typically pretty weak in most other hotels). We knew the rooms beside us were occupied but we never heard anything from our neighbors. The location of the hotel was perfect since Old Town Temecula was 2 blocks away, and the freeway entrance was around the corner. Would definitely stay here again if we're out this way, and we highly recommend it to others for a comfortable and quiet stay.

There wasn't any particular feature that we didn't enjoy.

The only thing I would like to see change would be offering coffee in the lobby. Other than that, this hotel was nice for the price. I would go back and also recommend it to others.

The room was clean and roomy. Good location. Lots of night life and places to eat, but wasn't noisy at the hotel. It was nice to have the microwave and refrigerator.

The heater blew cold air and hot air both. The shower water temperature went from hot to cold and back to hot again without touching the nozzle continually. The sink was the same way. There was no counter to put things on in the bathroom. They should hang a shelf. There was no table or chairs to use when you brought in food to eat. No place to get any food at the hotel not even breakfast.

– I really liked the somewhat darker homey/ vintage design of the rooms, especially the carpet. Unlike most other budget motels the place actually felt homey. – The location is unbeatable. You can leave your car there and walk into town meaning to the other end of the Old Town Front Street and back. – There is an amazing breakfast place nearby called Penfold's Cafe & Bakery. If, like us, you come from Europe do yourself a favour, go there and MARVEL at the American portion size. I ordered a cinnamon bun from the bakery. It was the size of my head...
