The room so nice for a pet room. They usually smell funny and have old furniture but this was excellent. The bed was so comfy and there was enough room for the dog crate. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was extremely good value and great quality,

There was no food provided in the evening when we got there at 8.30pm so we ordered an uber. The shower dials were iffy and the shower button was broken so my tall boyfriend couldn't put it high. There was no room ac or fan.

The service was great . The staff worked really hard to make it a fantastic stay . The house and grounds are stunning . I was really impressed with the whole thing

I found the room I had was not that well sound proofed so I got disturbed a few times by the other guests coming and going . The lift was a bit rickety . And the front doors need to open sooner when entering the building as they can open on you . I think a sliding door would be better and safer . I also found the drinks a bit pricey in the bar

The room was comfortable and clean, good layout to the hotel, nice and quiet over where our room was.

The room allocation for a family was rather cramped, could've done with being a bigger room for family's. The safety catch on the window was broken, was a little concerned as we have a 3 year old, didn't want her messing near the window. A little disappointed in the view, or no view really. Although quiet we looked out to other rooms which wasn't the best.

The hotel is easy to find using a Satnav and the location is stunning, beautiful gardens and landscaping. I couldn’t fault the breakfast, full English, fruits and yogurts, danish’s pastries, toast and jams, tea, coffee and fresh juices, what more could you ask for.

I would have liked a shelf within the shower for the shampoo/shower gel etc rather than having to pick it up from the floor. But this is such a small issue and wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Check in went well, Julia very helpful on reception. On the Saturday asked for more tea in the room and the lady on reception delivered immediately. We went with a family of 5 and partners, we ate in the restaurant on the Friday evening, it was so nice to be able to relax in the bar after which was really cosy and welcoming, there was a relaxed atmosphere all around the hotel.

Nothing everything was fine. If the weather had been nicer the grounds are lovely to sit outside would be really nice in summer.

As we are less mobile it was great to find disabled parking outside front entrance and a room on the ground floor. Made our dog very welcome and set up a table for us in the bar for our evening meal and breakfast. Food excellent if slightly pricy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay (overnight on way to Isle of Wight) and now booked to stay on our return journey.

First time staying at the Sudbury House Hotel, the room was excellent and the breakfast was good. It was idea for our old black Lab, with the room on the ground floor and the hotel's large gardens were good for his walks.

The evening meal was rather expensive for what we had, but, I feel I should decide whether to give a gratuity and not find that one had been applied automatically.

Room was spacious and very clean. Large bed which was very comfortable. Location was just outside Farringdon but a easy walk into the town, which was great for eating in Farringdon without having to take the car with you. It had a nice bar area. Breakfast was great. It was self service, but had a chef cooking and replenishing things regularly with the option to go back for more.

Nothing really, and we'd definitely go back there.

Hotel is delightful. Food good. Grounds lovely but there is nothing in Faringdon. Pity as its quite attractive but lacking in shops, restaurants etc

As stated above. The hotel had nit given us a twin bedded room as requested but did mive us to a very nice twin bedded room.

Very good location, very good comfort in the room, people very friendly.

Perhaps your restaurant should have more dishes to choose from. Also you could serve small meals such as toasts or so in your bar during the night.
