The property was very clean and staff was very friendly, breakfast was very good.

It would’ve been much better if the pool stayed open a little bit later, as me and my girlfriend got in and had to get straight out. And if there was drinkable tap water near floor 1, like a water stand or something.

Location a bit further from Cheltenham than we would like but would still stay there again....

Like all hotels today, lighting is somewhat subdued which might be atmospheric but makes it more difficult to read, apply make-up, etc. However, mirror over desk/dressing table with adjacent power point was much appreciated Generously sized room, super king bed, fridge, tea making facilities, first class bathroom, good towels and bedding. Attractive grounds with good outside seating in garden. Excellent parking with bus stop on road outside for 22min (£2 one way) journey into central Cheltenham. Breakfast choices excellent taken in attractive dining room.

Bar staff need more training in customer service skills starting with smiling at customers.

Room was very comfortable, big comfy bed, good pillows, mirrors, tv, and bathroom etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the pool. We didn't eat at the hotel having read the reviews. We had breakfast at a workers cafe a 4 min drive away, Royal Cafe. Excellent service, prices, and food. Very nice restaurants close by in Cheltenham for the evenings.

Shower leaked continously and the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom bit neither issue bothered us. Room was quite dark and decor dated with brown wall paper. A lighter wall colour would really make the room nice.

Overall everything was good

We were not informed that the restaurant would be shut on Sat night due to a number of different Christmas parties. We were told we could wait in the lounge "for about 10 minutes", then eat at the bar. After almost 20 minutes we left. In the room we rang room service 3 times and reception 2 times to try place a food order but to no avail as no one answered the phones!!! We usually use Premier Inns and decided to try a different "brand" and were left somewhat disappointed! We had to be out by 8.30am each day to attend a craft course and as no take-away breakfast container was available, we had to use serviettes to wrap some finger type food in! NOT the service I would expect from the likes of a Delta / Marriott Hotel!!

The hotel was luxe, with the world’s most comfortable bed and squashy pillows! Excellent room facilities, like phone charging ports, tv, iron, hairdryer, fridge (used them all!) and a stylish bathroom with clean towels and branded toiletries. Delicious free breakfast too with juice/coffee, fruit,cereals, pastries and hot eggs/hash browns etc in a beautiful restaurant area. Helpful staff and clean plush decor, including free parking and short drives to main Cotswolds villages to tour!

Our shower had no hot water and the reception did not amend this so we had to use the shower attachment on the bath!

Overall I would give it 8/10 Staff polite, welcoming and friendly. Bed amazingly comfortable and great room. Great experience.

Although the room was lovely. Attention to cleaning could be better. The bathroom floor was dirty and could do with updating. Paintwork flaking of shower ceiling and looking a little dated with around the tiles. The tbags were very poor in the room and at breakfast. They constantly burst open and therefore had to keep remaking with a new t bag. Breakfast was a good choice. The English breakfast however was pretty much cold and the eggs looked dried out and hard instead of fresh and runny, like they'd been out a while. Read as if there own pool, but in actual fact it was a health spa attached and so busy all the time. We ended up not using it.

Excellent service and a comfy room. The staff was wonderful, and we had no issue arranging an extra bed for our son. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar, which served great food and had excellent service.

There are no power outlets near the bed; there is only a single USB-A outlet on one side of the bed. Also, the power outlet at the desk was too low to plug in a standard MacBook power brick. There was no hanger for the hand towel in the bathroom near the sink. The pool/wellness has restricted hours for kids, which are only allowed until 6 p.m. This was a major issue for us as we were really looking forward to relaxing at the pool after a long day of exploring the Cotswolds, but we were told we could only come in before 6 with our son. This was also not advertised in the listing.

Lovely large room with comfortable bed. Bottles of water and the tea making facilities were good and included decaff coffee. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice from cooked to continental and loads of other bits. Easy to get to and a good location between Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Our TV didn't work properly, it kept shutting off randomly all the time so in the end we gave up. When we checked in they asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner then told us the restaurant was full which seemed a bit pointless to offer. They did say we could eat in the bar but it was very expensive so we went out to eat.
