Property was really nice, rooms were clean and spacious. The hotels biggest asset was Tom on reception. If anyone was born to work in hospitality or customer service, Tom was the epitome of professionalism. He should be the general manager. Absolutely polite, nothing was too difficult and always eager to please. Please pass on my gratitude and praise. Well deserved.

Breakfast was quite poor (that’s being polite). Continental normally involves selection of cheeses, meats, breads etc. Continental here involves cereal, fruit and pastries. Not as suspected. Cooked option involved opaque sausages, beans and bacon, which despite being in a Bain Marie, were lukewarm at best, cold at worst. Sausages were ‘white.’ Looked like they’d been boiled! Coffee machine was great.

The Reception area was very clean. Bar and restaurant were excellent, great staff and very friendly. The food was outstanding and very tasty.

Upon arrival the outside of the building was very poor and off putting, in need of decorating The car park is filthy dirty at the back, desperately needs tidying up and cleaning. The morning cleaning room staff were very rude, knocking on our door at 9.30 and then 15 minutes later, requesting we check out early as they wanted to clean the rooms on the floor we were on, we were not due to checkout until 11am. Our complaint has left with the Receptionist.

Convenient location for the M5. The staff were really friendly which was appreciated after a very long journey. I had mistakenly booked the wrong date but the reception staff were able to accommodate me and even upgraded me to a bigger room. The cleaning staff were also nice. The outside of the building and common areas could probably benefit from some tlc but the room inside was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. The parking was free with registration at the desk. Bus stop into Cheltenham outside which was really convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Minor thing but the EV charger wasn't working and was one of the reasons I selected to stay here. The management told me they were getting a new one put in soon though.

Room is huge, really comfortable bed, clean and well maintained. Shower was great, complimentary shower gel shampoo etc, good amount of tea and coffee etc in the room. Close to local amenities but still off the beaten path. Quiet. Breakfast was a little chaotic, it was really busy and could have done with more staff, the lad serving breakfasts was run off his feet but did everything to make us welcome. Lovely cooked breakfasts available, along with continental breakfast options too and included in our price. We had to sit in the bar as it was packed out in the breakfast room and we couldn't find cutlery or plates. The coffee machine had packed up and the lad serving had too much to do so we had instant which was available once we'd managed to get cups milk etc. Would've been excellent if not for the fact that the lad was on his own, so can't fault him. Great place for a stay, will definitely think about returning.

Could do with a few more staff to help out at breakfast when it's that busy but otherwise lovely.

The room was very spacious, tastefully decotrated, and really well presented. There were plug sockets situated at both sides of the bed, as well as a good sized bedside table each (which are rarely present on many of our short stay hotel experiences) We had a good-sized Smart TV to watch, so after a long day travelling, we were able to relax and watch a movie. Evening room service was available, and although we didn't take advantage of it (as we had already eaten), we most certainly would have appreciated it had we been hungry I didn't have breakfast, although my partner did. He said it was very nice and freshly cooked. The staff were very polite and friendly.

Nothing major, just the bedroom doors slammed when closing, if not held onto. Could have done with more pillows, especially for sitting up in bed, as the ones supplied were quite flat.

A perfectly pleasant stay. I received a lovely welcome from friendly staff, the hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, there was plentiful parking, and the room was a nice size with a great tv. All in all brilliant value for money! I would happily give this hotel 8/10 for work based travel accommodation.

The mattress could do with renewing: it dipped a bit but still comfy enough, the fridge didn’t work (but most hotels I stay in for work purposes have removed fridges from rooms anyway), and the bathroom was clean but dated.

Although the property looked like it needed a bit of attention the actual room was very good for a three star establishment. The bathroom could do within an update however it was still very clean and functional breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. Should I need to be in Cheltenham again I would certainly stay there

Can’t say I didn’t like anything about the property, again the bathrooms need to be modernized however everything was good and value for money

Great Location. Friendly & helpful staff

There were people downstairs our room near the restaurant who were smoking & the smoke was getting into our room as the windows were open. The room door doesn't have the silent shutter, every time we open the door it shuts with a loud bang. The bath water pressure was too low. Had to wait for so long before it got filled up. The lights were all connected to one switch.

A comfortable room with everything you would expect, comfortable bed, hot shower, TV, teas and coffee. Been here a fair few times this year and each time it gets better. Under new management and the staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Far enough from town to be away from the noise and close enough to see the sights. I only had breakfast once and it was well presented and tasted good.

Staff are super helpful and accommodating. The room was very large and had all amenities needed and a very large bed. Also had a smart TV with Netflix/Prime etc. very quiet at night. The food in the bar/restaurant was very tasty, surprisingly so for a small hotel, and very well priced with guest discount. I’ve booked my next work week here too, it’s a hidden gem in my eyes.
