Our Master Double bedroom was exceptionally generous in size, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, light and clean. The complimentary 90min’s use of the spa facilities (steam room, sauna, outdoor hot tub, indoor heated swimming pool) was most enjoyable. Dinner was very delicious despite a limited menu. Good variety of breakfast options. We chose full English breakfast and a vegetarian English breakfast, both beautifully cooked. Staff very polite, welcoming, helpful and attentive. As a result we happily paid for the (optional) 5% service charge which will be shared by all hotel staff.

Nothing not to like about this hotel!

This was an amazing stay from the moment we checked in and were escorted to room 1 - it was a beautiful room , spacious , lovely view of the garden with all the expected welcoming touches including the yummy homemade biscuits!!! The spa experience was fabulous especially the outdoor hot tub where we enjoyed a glass of fizz . Unfortunately the spouts we’re operating. Dinner was the highlight and we enjoyed a fantastic pre and post dinner drink in the comfort of the incredible lounge/ bar area . The choice of music ( Brat Pack ) was just perfect in the evening . Service was discreet but professional at all times .

Lovely hotel. The staff are very welcoming. Our room was fabulous. Breakfast was good.

A charge of £25 pp to use the pool seems excessive. Its there to see, but we had missed it.

This was our second visit and were not disappointed. We received an upgraded room which was v. large and beautifully furnished. Food was excellent. A talented and very creative chef produced wonderful flavours.

The dinner menu was limited and the same for both nights of our stay. A dish of the day would have been appreciated. Anyone staying longer than two nights might struggle with the choices available. Our room had some cobwebs. Chambermaids rarely look up! The lounge area off the bar was a bit dull in decor and needs more colour and light.

Lovely attentive staff, absolutely gorgeous property and grounds! We loved our weekend away, our room was cosy and comfortable with very nice tea/coffee amenities and a fabulous large bathroom. The spa time included in our booking was just lovely - really nice calm pool, steam rooms and sauna, and the outdoor hot tub was a real treat. We also really enjoyed relaxing by the fire with a cocktail in the evening, the furnishings are a lovely classic country style made even cosier by the Christmas decorations! Breakfast was also very nice with a good amount of choice. Only a 10 minute taxi ride from Cheltenham city centre also makes it a convenient location if travelling without a car as we were. Overall I would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Only criticism was the cocktails were a bit on the pricey end.

The room (room 3) was very big. Lots of space, comfy. It had great views of the grounds. Really nothing to complain about. Turn down service. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The shower was good. We stayed when it was moderate temperature outside 20-23 degrees over a weekend in September so it was perfect. The spa was nice, especially the outdoor jacuzzi. Dinner was nice but we opted not to go for the 2nd night as it was the same menu.

Food orders could be a little slow and occasionally a breakdown in communication for requests on food. Apart from that, the staff were friendly and very helpful with any requests when they could. Just seemed they were very busy, or short staffed.

I don’t like negative remarks generally. With one exception the staff are delightful. The exception was the male receptionist whose manner is very clipped and unsuited to hospitality. I’m Also in my seventies. The room was a very long trek from reception. I had a suitcase. He set off at a clip , not once looking round to see if I was keeping up, and despite this and stairs he didn’t once offer to help carry. His fortunes might be better in a conveyor belt industry. I am back in the hotel tonight for a major family double anniversary. We will see how that goes!

My wife and I love the Greenway and have been several times. This occasion was our anniversary and it’s the perfect place to celebrate it. We are real food critics and can be at times hard to please, but my meal was divine the best Pheasant I’ve ever had. Well done to the guys in the Kitchen you have real talent.

It’s a real shame to say but the barman/waiter lacked in professionalism, a little too sure of himself could probably do with a little maturity. This was a shame but didn’t spoil our stay as the rest of your team were lovely.

Stunning building, friendly staff, home from home, extremely welcoming hotel. Absolutely delicious food, both at breakfast, spa lunch, and dinner too. Beautiful break with my mum, our room was switched to a twin and what a beautiful room it was.

Had to have our treatment bookings changed due to staffing in Spa, but the alternative was sorted and suited us fine! Pillows on the beds ought to he a bit plumper, for the level of comfort that surrounds you in this hotel, flat pillows to do not fit! Lastly, loo roll is cheap thin stuff!

Absolutely beautiful setting and a high quality environment but informal. The room was exceptional - it had the "wow" factor - spacious and luxurious - best ive stayed in. The views from the back are absolutely stunning - the spa was quiet and so relaxing and again top 2 of the hotels ive stayed in. If your looking for an exceptionally quiet relaxing and very high standard break this is the one for you. Breakfast was high quality too.

I can't fault the hotel but we did feel a little bit confused about the spa 90 mins policy - it was really quiet but i kept on looking at the clock! Beware of the "service charge" on your bill which i didn't know about - it was £24.00 which i asked to be removed which is a bit embarassing really.
