Altlantic is a brand new place, great design, one minute walk from the station. I got a spacious and comfortable room with proper windows, which you can fully open! Nice restaurant and bar on the top floor. I was able to get food and drink around 10 pm on the day of my arrival, which is a very rare case in Germany! Great for visiting old town too. Just 1 minute walk and 5 minute ride with the local train to the old town station.

The shower gel and the body lotuon were extremly liquid and not a very pleasant to use. Half of the rooms seem to overlook railroad, not the most pleasant if views

I like everything. We had the junior suite. The receptionist was very good on giving explanations ( because we parked on the wrong parking, where you cannot pay by card and entering your plate number). The stay was luxurious, comfortable, we had a quiet stay, no luggage and talking sounds on the hallway because of the double sturdy doors, and I also have not seen the cleaning lady and the cleaning cart in the morning, like in other hotels. The breakfast was divine in the restaurant with breathtaking view.

I didn’t like that I only could stay one night.

The hotel is super comfortable with great facilities. We specially enjoyed the modern gym and sauna area. The room had a great view on the castle and mountains and it was quiet at night.

The process of using the sauna was not very well thought through. There were no bathrobes at the spa neither in the room and when I asked at the welcome desc they said it's only for guests in suites but handed me one anyways but then there was no towels so I had to ask again for having a towel to use the sauna and then again to get a key for the locker. It was okay in the end but I had to go three times to the welcome desk instead they tell me directly that the locker room keys are there.

Everything worked perfectly (check-in, commons facilities, the room, parking facilities). Fantastic breakfast buffet including a chef making omelets.

We were not informed before booking our room that the in-house restaurant & room service was closed the entire evening due to a business arrangement, AND in addition the receptionist at check-in told us that we of course could eat dinner in the bar in the restaurant, which wasn’t possible at all. The parking is more expensive when parking in the designated hotel area in the basement, than in the public area in the same basement - this is poor guest service.

- Quiet and comfortable rooms. Well insulated from the railway station nearby - Exceptional breakfast - elaborate and tasty - The 15 High bar cum restuarant is also great though it may be packed during weekends - One will have no issues finding public transport to the the city centre ! - I was happy that the Hotel let me have a late checkout without hesitation !

- House keeping was a little shabby. One of the cleaning towels was left in the bathroom while the bed frame were moved and left out of position. And the empty water bottle was not taken away/replaced ! Expected better !

Proximity to local transport as it was opposite the railway station and central bus stops. A nice modern room on the ninth floor with good views.

After a 12 hour drive to Heidelberg we were looking forward to a good evening meal in the hotel to find that the restaurant was fully booked. Amazed that the hotel parking cost 25Eu per night. THis was not made evident on booking otherwise we would have stayed elsewhere. To cap it all it was difficult to exit this car park despite notifying lthe stall of our departure

Location, and the hotel is new. It's a good looking hotel.

Have to say, that the staff should really check by themselves, that the air conditioner was not functioning properly. Or maybe it's really that bad They tried to move us to a different room, but the staff at night about 21:00, tried to convince us that it was normal... That it was their technology. If that is true, you should not stay in this hotel, until they changed it. It was so bad, and warm in the room and the floor on the way to the rooms.

Breakfast was excellent, albeit expensive. The staff were professional and helpful

The hotel is described as "next to the train station". Whilst that's true, it's also misleading - the hotel is BEHIND the train station. So I lugged my baggage to the front of the station, spent five minutes looking for the hotel, before having to carry it all the way back through the station. Please just add "the hotel can be accessed easily from the passageway behind platform 10" to your website, etc.

Great location with good transit connections for the city. Works very well for travel. The hotel is very well maintained and the rooms are well appointed and spacious.

There is some noise coming from the outside due to the construction work being done in the square. The windows do a mostly good job at isolating it. The bedding and mattress could be better, it's scratchy and takes away from an otherwise very good room.

First class new hotel. Extreamly professional and friendly staff. The evening meal and breakfast far exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of hot and cold foods. The secure underground car park had sufficient headroom to take my top box. Bus and train stop were very handy outside to explore. The 15th floor restaurant had lovely panoramic views and the most beautiful sunsets (obviously cannot be guaranteed). Will definitely stay again1
