Nice place for this highly traveled/visited area. My son and I went away for a weekend and feel we picked a great place. Online hotel booking is getting tricky sometimes anymore where the facility looks nothing like the advertised photos, but this place is spot on. IMO, if anybody gives this place a negative review, they should be looking at the $500 a night resorts that surround the area....maybe that would make them happy.....but prob not.

Honestly, this is nit-picking, but my only negative (which I've seen on other reviews) is not even the hotels fault. The facility is on a 4 lane highway with a concrete divider. So if you want to go to any of the places E of the facility and around it, including the WAWA store right across the street, you have to pull out of the Parking lot and do a u-turn around to back track. Also, as of the date of this review they are re-shingling the roof. I think if they re-pave the parking lot it would def take it to the next level.

The lady that worked the breakfast was very friendly and did a great job of keeping all of the food hot and full. The food was the same each morning but there was a large variety of food available. The front desk staff were very friendly and did everything to make our stay comfortable. They were quick to take care of the issues we had with our room.

There was several issues with our room. The first morning we didn't have any hot water and could not shower. Also the air conditioner never shut off. The thermostat worked keeping the room cool but when the compressor kicked off the air conditioner continued to make a humming noise. They were very good at fixing the hot water issue the same day. There were several places where the drywall had been patched but very poorly.

I had an issue with the TV remote in my room. The remote I had would not work the TV. Janice, the night desk person, went above and beyond finding me a remote that would work. She looked in a number of rooms for a remote that would work with my TV. When that didn’t work, she ultimately found me a nearby room with a working TV/remote and cheerfully made the room switch for me. Janice is truly an asset and goodwill ambassador for Comfort Inn. Thank you Janice.

Breakfast was a bonus, nice, I only wish there was a choice offered between pork sausage or turkey sausage. as it was only pork that was offered..the rest of the varieties were nice..a pleasant start to the day... we also liked the fact that the hotels location was only 7minutes from the Kalahari Resorts.

The bed pillowes definately needed an upgrade. they were very uncomfortable. we ended up having achy necks in the morning. The treadmill was out of order & also the Jacuzzi which we were so looking forward too.

Great location, have stayed there several times in the past

No communication between management and staff. We attempted to stay an extra night and were told all the rooms were booked but we could upgrade to a jacuzzi room. However the jacuzzi was not working but they still wanted to upgrade. Another clerk kept us in the same room with no problem but. My bill reflected a double charge for the room and no return of the $50 fee for the room. The room was nice, clean and well equipped but I’m pretty sure we will go elsewhere next time.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was absolutely top notch. The staff were exceptional!!! Please give our thanks to Marcus and Janice, who could not have been nicer or more helpful.

The elevator was broken, not the hotel’s fault (the maintenance people couldn’t get the necessary part). A minor inconvenience, all told. Additionally, not all of the room outlets and lights have been upgraded to include USB port chargers. Had we known, we would have brought plugs for our room (216).

The facilities were clean and comfortable.

A housekeeper was rude to some guests. She pushed ahead of them to take the elevator with her cart and wouldn't let any of the guests share the elevator. She told them "No". A kitchen staff lady argued about providing oatmeal and then later turned the juice machine off at the end of breakfast time. When a guest who was still eating asked if they could have more juice, she wouldn't accommodate them.

We liked absolutely everything.The staff was incredible from the time we walked into the time we left. I did not realize that breakfast stock at 9 o'clock. We went down at nine fifteen and the staff literally went back and tried to find us breakfast at nine fifteen in the morning.After everything was already cleaned up, they were incredible.

There was nothing that we did not like

I loved everything about my room and how clean it was. Usually, I have to sanitize my room when I stay at a hotel due to substandard cleaning.

I didn’t like when leaving the parking lot you had to turn right and go to the light and do a U-turn for shopping and dining. Seems like there could be a road that went behind the hotel via Lowe’s and on to the Walmart.

It’s convenience to my granddaughter’s workplace & it’s possible to walk to work from this property.

I thought I had booked 2 days; when in fact the front desk folks said: “U only have one day & that’s for tonight…” We have stayed at this property many times throughout many years & we were very disappointed @ this mistake. Since we use Booking.com for our travel accommodations & we love this particular Comfort Inn, would it be possible to give us a credit?
