I love most of the staff, the facility .

The only part I didn't like was the checkout. I went to reception . I stood there to make sure all was in order to check out, and we should leave. We arrived at the gate, and security refused to let us out without a code. Reception didn't give us a code to leave. We called reception for a code, and she said they she would sms and refused to give us over the phone. We waited but didn't receive an sms. We were very frustrated. We called her back to advise that we are holding up other vehicles, then only did she give us the code to exit.

I traveled with my 18-year-old daughter. We came here to unwind and enjoy all the amenities the resort offers. We were very pleased with the service, our room and breakfast.

The pool area was very loud. We were out at night trying to enjoy our drinks, we had to leave because the pool area was loud. There were screaming kids at the pool area, diving and splashing water. The hotel should have a policy with families traveling with kids. You can't allow screaming kids and diving into the pool. There should always be parental supervision when kids are at the pool.

The room was excellent. Big bed, nice pillows, bath and hot water were amazing. The view was jungle right to our balcony but that's what we wanted. The staff were generally excellent but as we were practically the only people there (we went before half term) they seemed to be operating on a trimmed-down staff. This was fine - we went there to get away from everything -but one day we had a full breakfast buffet and the next we had a la carte from the small bar. I guess they were saving on staff and wastage. The food was excellent though. Also the SPA was first class. The best thing tho was the Durban weather which was v warm given that it was winter. The cart drivers were 1st class.

Not much. They were a bit tight with their in-room coffee pods and sachets, and had no gowns or slippers which we had expected given how salubrious the hotel is. What we didn't like was the Fee for the pick-up from the airport (20 mins away), so after that we used Ubers at a quarter the price. Also the shock daily Levy-fee for diesel to keep the generator going during lock-down which nobody had mentioned until we left. We though that was a bit cheeky.

Our holiday was lovely as usual, we love that we can stay inside the estate and still have access to everything we need. We loved our room and view. It was well equipped the design and comfort was luxurious, we felt well rejuvenated after our stay.

The checkin was bumpy we had to wait an hour for our room even though we stated we would be arriving at 2pm. The breakfast area was falling apart, the cutlery and crockery and tables, table clothes just did not match the experience. The staff at breakfast serving coffee were coughing and seemed sick while not wearing a mask and serving people, no, I would like to see them do better.

Everything. Especially the choice to be able to go to the Valley of the Pools , the beach and the Capital Hotel The bar staff especially Musha and Andreas. were absolutely wonderful The guys who gave us lifts in the golf carts and minibus The reception staff

we asked for the broken porch light to be fixed as it was very dark at night and you could hardly see the steps up to the apartment which we felt was a bit dangerous The dining room staff at breakfast were polite but not very proactive or consistent

The room was comfortable & clean. The TV settings need to be improved for better viewing. A microwave oven is required in the room.

Breakfast, room, Pool and ambiance of the hotel. Feels like being on a tropical Island like Bali.

Upon arrival, the very first impression was not good. The porters were absent, and I almost got a "don't care" attitude, but after meeting the receptionist, all changed. We almost left to go to another hotel. Fortunately the receptionist saved that day and we had a wonderful stay.

The staff are brilliant, attentive and more than willing to go the extra mile with a smile on their face. The food was great and our accommodation was fantastic

The swimming pool was a bit cooler than I’d have liked but it is outdoor and it is winter so what should I really expect. Saying that the valley of the pools is a beautiful setting with great food and amenities.

The resort's architecture blends within the nature. The staff's efficiency and eagerness to meet customer's needs. Great variety of choices for breakfast. Kettle and Nespresso machine in the bedroom. Entirely secured resord.

Slippers in bedroom would have been appreciated, as the cold cemented floor can be at times unpleasant Should fix the air conditioner/heater as it can get quiet cold at night (we were fortunately given another blanket).

The property is absolutely amazing, it’s surrounded by nature and it is very peaceful. I really enjoyed the valley of pools as well.

The staff was amazing, but the house keeping knocked for a second and immediately opened the door while we were showering and getting ready, she didn’t wait for a response. The next morning the tea/coffee station was not refilled.
