Fantastic views, clean, tidy, modern, good aircon!

We had checked in early in the morning knowing our apartment wouldn’t be ready until later in the afternoon, however when we turned up at the time given to be given access to the apartment, we were left waiting for over 45 minutes for our host to turn up. Also the advert on booking.com gives the impression the room has a balcony but this is incorrect information.

Very good location in Central Business District, restaurants and bars nearby. Short walk to V and A Waterfront. Excellent security in hotel including parking. Friendly staff.

This is not a reflection of the Urban Elephant itself, but an important point about the area. Although the hotel is based on a main street, appearing safe, we were scammed on the 3rd morning of our stay by three men on Bree Street dressed as friendly security guards. They said we needed special passes to visit the area due to demonstrations, and In the process, they stole our credit cards, be warned!

The apartment was great, fully equipped kitchen and a wonderful view They have a small gym that even if not well equipped was enough for a good training session The building is very safe, but we didn't feel completely safe walking to the waterfront from there. We were always bothered by someone during the walk.

The check in was pretty traumatic. I was informed that somebody would assist us for the parking, but when we arrived nobody was there. I parked quickly on the side of the road while my girlfriend went inside to get information about the parking but the guys inside didn't care at all and wanted to have all our information before letting us park. Meanwhile a very rude woman outside was pressing me and writing down my cars plate because I couldn't park there. So, a very stressful start They provide some water but I wouldn't suggest drinking it because it didn't taste or smell particularly good

Facilities were fantastic, and the room was perfect. Views from the balcony and from the rooftop pool were amazing with a full view of table mountain. Our host for Urban Elephant was lovely and very welcoming.

Although they made us feel safe and ensured the building was secure, I feel that the security staff could have been kinder and more welcoming on our arrival and during the check in process.

Everything, it was clean, safe and the pool and bar area was the cherry 🍒 on the cake. Fab place. Will use this apartment again. So central. South africa good location for Thursday and Sunday bree street, pedestrian nights.

It took a while, getting your fingerprint set up and the photo. But I understand why you use this system. Not that it worked very well. It kept rejecting my photo.

Lovely apartment. Good location. We stayed in 2 sets of stay here as had a few days away and the reception stored our big luggage for us which was great. Very organised. Good pool area as an option too, great views. Would use again as great all round. Even a few good restaurants/bars on same road.

- complete facility in apartment unit (full kitchen equipment, washing machine) - the property is in good condition, relatively new, clean and well maintained - balcony with table mountain view from my apartment unit (2207) - strategic location in the safe area, walking distance to v&a waterfront (15 mins) - easy to find uber and uber seemed easy to find the building - there's a roof top seating area with very nice view of cape town - jacquie the housekeeping manager was so helpful during my stay - securities in the front desk were quite polite and helpful, the access to the lift used face recognition

- sofa in lobby can be added so guests can wait for check-in or wait for pick-up (uber) conveniently - swimming pool was small and can be crowded in the summertime - outdoor gym was small and very limited equipments

Fantastic views, a terrace with a pool and pool bar. This had the best views of Table Mountain and the city. Security was impressive, even leaving the bags before and check in was profesional and easy with security. Flat was clean, well equipped and I highly recommended this place.

No it was perfect

Tea, coffee, milk and sugar were provided on arrival. The view was stunning. 10 minute easy walk to the V&A waterfront, good restaurants and cafes very near. Very good quality furnishings and the beds were vey comfortable. The people on the front desk were helpful. Abundant Ubers made getting around easy and cheap. Good pool and outside seating with sun beds and a well stocked snack bar with very pleasant, friendly staff. I would have rated it excellent but for a problem with the lift doors which I reported. We loved it!

Nothing. We are three very well travelled people, very used to hotel and short term rentals so we can be quite critical. Urban Elephant, 16 on Bree is exceptional.

Great location and amazing view from the 27th floor

The building is very noise and the curtains are not protecting you from the lights, unfortunately we were awake at sunrise every morning
