Chefs at breakfast made our day with their happy faces. We had a car so location was ideal. Would be challenging if you were on foot...

We had a family room and it was a tight squeeze with little cupboard space for a 4 night Stay. Bathrooms were grubby and didn't smell clean Bedding was not changed. Missed the little touches of a 4 star hotel. 🌟 Sadly ,there was no poolside service. The pool side menu was very limited. So we didn't eat while sitting in the sun and hoping to relax. Why does room service close at 10pm? Why is everyone so grumpy in the hotel?

The breakfast selection was awesome. The location was perfect to see all we wanted to in Cape Town. The kids used the WiFi. Staff were friendly, rooms and general hotel felt clean.

We booked for 2 adults & 2 kids. The room only had 2 cups and towels etc. I mentioned this at reception on our first morning and it was never corrected.

You can't pick a better location. Very close the the Victoria Waterfront which has loads of restaurants. The suite is spacious. Hotel was kept clean. The staff were very helpful and efficient. 2 examples - we needed a room upgrade to a suite, they were adaptable and sorted it out for us. The bar staff didn't have the cocktails we like on their menu but went ahead to mix them because they said they had the ingredients.

Food options for room service / restaurant could be more varied.

Its was my husband 50th Birthday, so yes it was a special weeeked, we really enjoyed our stay and it will always be a memorable weekend. The Management, Reception, Staff overall including the Breakfast time, the Porter made us feel very welcome, always had a smile. Thanks to Management for the drinks and eats that was brought to our room for the surprise birthday I will definitely come back for another stay as it was a very short stay. Thanks to the staff at Breakfast helping us to put the balloons and for the desert and singing for my husband

It will be good if there is a machine with drinks and chips. We arrived late around 11 pm and we were very hungry, the kitchen was closed and we had to order via uber eats which only arrived at 12:30 am. Maybe also having sandwiches available in the machine.

The location is quite central, the staff are the nicest, from the kitchen to the reception, the bar, butlers. I couldnt fault them.

We were told the pool couldnt be used due to renovations, at such a busy time in the year, with kids who really looked forward to swimming. Really dumpened the mood as the pool was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Late night when you feel like having a snack, theres not wvwn one side plate just to cater for those small snacks inbetween meals.

CHAMBER MAID WAS NOT THE BEST ALWAYS THE TEA BAG LEFT IN THE POT, PLUS FOUND AN OLD PAIR OF SOCKS FROM ANOTHER VISITOR BESIDE THE SIDE BED. NO TOILET BRUSH IN THE TOILET..........

Breakfast was fresh, tasty with lots of options on the buffet menu, setting a good tone to the start of our Cape town tour. Dinner was served fresh, hot and delicious which was great after a day out, it was like coming home to a great cooked meal! We loved it! Oh my God, the staff was wonderful, ever-smiling and welcoming and very helpful too. I loved the level of cleanliness from the rooms to the restaurants, it was top notch. The hotel exceeded our expectations!

The rooms are a bit small, but that didn't affect our stay as we enjoyed being in the same space with my husband and young daughter the little time we spent in the rooms.

Having some online business to take care of, we opted to stay here as they had the needed facilities. We were on a motorcycle trip so also needed really safe parking under cover which they have. Enjoyed our stay and so much so that we stayed another night while we explored the sights after completing business. Would I stay again ? Yes…

Absolutely nothing to dislike…

Although the interior of the hotel is due for an update, the service we received could not been better! We arrived very late due to waiting for our luggage but the team made it possible for us to settle right in and go to bed. The service was honestly some of the best I had experienced in a while and we will most certainly be booking there again, hopefully very soon.

Interior is a bit dated, but didn’t detract from the experience.

The only thing I did not like was the fact that my 3 year old had an accident of wetting the bed on our second night but the linen was not changed he was expected to sleep on the same smelly stained linen
