The staff are the highlight of the hotel. Very friendly, attentive and welcome you with a smile everytime. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Nice breakfast room with a good selection of breakfast foods. They make eggs to order at your request. The hotel is perfectly located to the nearby attractions and shops. You have a small gym on the ground floor. There is a restaurant on site that closes at 23:00PM

Although there is a gym, it was small with not much selection of equipment. Your hotel room doesn't have a fridge, that has to be requested in advance or once you arrive. Not sure if it's just me, but I can't remember ever staying in a hotel that doesn't offer complimentary bottled water in your hotel room.but honestly these are small details for the price I paid and the positives of the hotel. Just want to give an honest review

The location of the hotel is right opposite Mandela Square, the hotel staff were very responsive and the general ambience and feel of the hotel was awesome.

No much but I would have liked a fridge in my room. I had bought some perishable items and a fridge would have been useful in that regard.

The location is good for access to Nelson Mandela Square. We particularly liked the on-site restaurant Riffs, we liked the food and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. The small garden around the pool was a nice place to relax. Breakfast was good and although busy staff were efficient and helpful.

Everything was fine.

As always (this was our 4th stay I believe), everything worked out great. The room is big enough for 2 adults + 1 child, the beds are comfy, the breakfast is probably the best treat - the egg station always makes killer omelettes! The location right across the road of Sandton City is SO good. For the price you pay, there is no better value for money hotel in Sandton!

Night 1 the generators kicked in during loadshedding, and the room started smelling quite strongly of diesel fumes. We were moved to a room on the other side the next day, and the problem was solved.

Brilliant location - right next door ro the Sandton Convention Centre. I felt very welcome and not out of place eating alone at Riffs bar - there were many singel travellers having dinner. I liked the large shower and was greatful for a corner, quiet room so that I could put my head down and work

My laptop did not fit in the safe ; the breakfast pasttries were soggy and both mornings. I was not aware of the 1 km radius shuttle bus on offer, til i was leaving. But none of these comments would put me off booking another stay.

Safety and Family-Friendly Environment: The emphasis on safety and the family-friendly atmosphere made the hotel a suitable choice for those traveling with family. This added layer of security contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Value for Money: Unfortunately, the overall cost of my stay seemed disproportionate to the level of comfort provided by the hotel. This discrepancy left me somewhat dissatisfied. a. Loose Fixtures: One noticeable issue was the presence of unscrewed locks, which raised concerns about security and maintenance standards. b. Inadequate Beds: The beds appeared to be in need of renewal, impacting the quality of sleep and overall comfort. c. Parking Fees: An additional cost for parking was an unexpected and inconvenient aspect of my stay. This should be clearly communicated to guests during the booking process.

Room was beautifull, neat with great view. Breakfast was amazing. Pool area was beautifull and relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Parking was free, convenient and secure.

Bad smell coming up through the bathroom basin pipe from below. I am sure something can be done about that. At the pool the metal hand support rail is going from the steps into the deep side of pool and not into the shallow side. No grip to hold onto side of pool. Sunday morning I had to safe a 7 year old girl from drowning since she enter the pool from the steps and hand support rail into the deep side when her hand slipped.

Everything - from the excellent room, best location, best breakfast and restaurant to the ambience. I would not mind staying again :) It was so close to the Sandton City Mall and even the Gautrain. We felt safe and it was vibrant! Absolutely loved this place!

I wish the swimming pool was just a little warmer! Otherwise, I have no complains and am still missing my stay! Whoever is reading this should book themselves with Garden Court for the best Sandton, Johannesburg experience!

I loved the breakfast, it exceeded my expectations. I even got the chance to eat a proper Pan Cake and that was my favorite. The view from our room was awesome, the cleaning ladies were also very friendly and did a wonderful job. Didn't get to use the pool or the gym but we will sure return to experience all of it. I even got to see my old school mate by the name of Angeline, she was behind the reception desk..displaying professionalism at its best.

My partner just wanted more entertainment on the television set, I explained to him that we needed to have more money to have access to such, he laughed really hard at this.

Phenominal staff. Exceptionall reception, helful ess & general helpfulness. Best service I have experienced in Sandton & surrounds and I travel regularly. Cookies in the room was a nice touch. The GM was also visible and accessible which was a nice touch too. I will be back!!

Would have liked a bigger working space in my room, as well as a bath. Real milk & not just cremora would also have been a nice. But not a deal breaker
