Fraser Place Central Seoul

I've visited Fraser Place a number of times. Love that it is spacious, clean, and awesome location. My typical go-to hotel in Seoul. Staff service is excellent, and they helped us to book taxi to airport.

There is no longer any airport limousine that stops right in front of the hotel, and the hotel had stopped its daily shuttle service due to covid. Quite disappointed by that, given that Korea has relaxed most covid rules. Bathroom floor in the bedroom was quite slippery, and a wooden panel in front of the washing machine had broken off. We had to place a towel on top of it to avoid tripping over.

Room is large and comfortable. Near Seoul and City Hall stations. Within half an hour walk to Myeondong, Namdaemun, Lotte main store and dondaemun. If walking to Fraser place, do not take the underpass as you have to carry your luggage without an escalator/elevator. Just walk above ground. It's a straight road to the hotel. We took limousine bus 6015 for krw 17000. Drop off at Brown Suites residences and it's a short 5 mins walk to frasers place. It costs more than the Arex but worth it for the convenience and not having to lug your luggage for 20 minutes.

The room is a little dated, but it's roomy, and you have all you need for a comfortable stay. The washing machine helps, so you may decide to travel light.

Convenient location, short walk to train station. Stayed in deluxe 2-bedrooms apartment, with kitchenette that includes stove, microwave oven, oven, fridge, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Also has washer-dryer and laundry rack. Suitable for both short and long term stay. There were 2 bathrooms which means no waiting to use bathroom for family of 4. Coffee Bean, Burger King, other cafes and eateries and convenience store are practically downstairs. Great location!

Nothing the family didn’t like, although son felt the bed was uncomfortable for him

We booked this place for our first night arriving in Seoul as we were leaving to Busan the next day. This place was beyond our expectations. We wished we got to stay for more nights. The room was grand and clean and a great first stay for our holiday. It's perfectly situated near the main train station.

My family and I stayed in Fraser Central Seoul for 4D3N. We chose it because it is a serviced apartment and could accommodate our family of 5 very comfortably. The super deluxe 2 bedroom was spacious, with 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchenette, a sitting area and a dining area. The bathroom area was also great because there was an dresser area which really helps. I must also add that the view from our room was great. The location of the hotel was good too. It's only about 7 mins away from the City Hall train station, and very near to the hotel, there are many convenience stores like 7-11 and eMart24. There are also several good eating joints in the vicinity, for e.g Cafe Mama (right next to the hotel) was a very cosy place for a nice breakfast. There is also a Michelin-rated Ginseng Chicken restaurant mid-way between the hotel and the train station. Hotel staff was also very helpful, and they are able to converse in English. On the first day, we needed help to get a cab to get to Isa-Dong and the staff named Jasmine, was very nice and she helped to arrange 2 cabs for our group. Our family will definitely be back and we will choose to stay here again.

The TV channels were mostly Korean shows. It would have been even better if there were more international channels, or netflix or HBO.

Really comfortable room (actually an apartment with cooking facilities rather than a room!). Brilliant way to start our honeymoon. Bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms / toilets for getting ready. Housekeeping was super prompt - they had cleaned before we even came back from breakfast! Breakfast was brilliant - plenty of korean and western options.

Only negative was that on our first night the service in the restaurant was very slow (we waited over an hour for dinner). BUT they did compensate by giving us extra starters and a dessert to make up for it. Note that some of the menu was in Korean (not translated to English) but staff were happy to help.

The location is within walking distance to Seoul Station and Deoksugung. The many buses in front of hotel take me to many places of interest such as Gwangjang Market and Eunpyeong hanok village. In the room, there is the heated flooring, a rain shower, lovely bath amenities and the kitchenette.

There is no Airport Bus that stops in front of hotel. There used to be one (6005) but it was cancelled due to pandemic. It would be perfect to reinstate the service at this stop.

The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the train station, which in turn can be used to go to most locations in Seoul. Travel cards can be purchased from the 7eleven stores in Korea (or at international airports like Incheon or Gimpo) and you'll find a 7eleven just a few minutes away from the hotel on the way to the train station. Bear in mind that sometimes the trains are quite busy so if you prefer getting a taxi, Taxis are quite easy to book if you have an Uber account (yes Uber works in South Korea). Also the staff at the hotel are very friendly and if you need anything including help booking a taxi or an airport car service they are incredibly helpful. There are a number of shops nearby to pick up day to days things, as well as a room service, which has a decent menu selection. One of the main reasons that we chose this hotel was because it had the kitchen which not only offers a hobtop cooker, microwave, and kitchen sink, but also a washer/dryer, which is just what you need if you travel fairly light with the intention of rotating your clothing during the cause of your stay.

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say to be honest.

The rooms in which we stayed featured self contained kitchenettes. We expected this and it was part of the reason why we selected that option, but It was a pleasant surprise when we got there and found that not only did it contain a microwave, hob top cooker, and washer/dryer (as advertised), but that the fridge within the kitchen area was actually a full sized fridge unit complete with freezer compartments. Decent sized bathrooms and bedrooms, alongside a defined dining area and living room. We had to book a separate room for my daughter at a later date as we were unsure about the timings for her being able to come over to join us, so when we booked the additional room for her, we weren't sure where she would be located in the hotel in relation to our room. But when we got to the hotel, they (the hotel staff) had made a point in arranging to put her room right next door to us, which was a really nice gesture.

it is really convenient, if you take some time to walk around there are a lot of cafes, eateries, both korean and western. Years past it was hard to ffind salad food but now this area you can find salad based food if you a on a healthy diet like Salad says at 6-16 Sunhwa-dong. nearby from the main entrance take a short walk, there is burger king at 185 Sunhwa-dong, Lina's sandwich that serve nice coffee and sandwich. The back entrance you will find a few convenient stores, salad place and fried chicken etc. If you take a short walk towards the city hall station there is a famous ginseng chicken place at 1 seosomun-ro 11-gil, Seosomum-dong
