Hotel Manu Seoul

Good location within walking distance from Seoul Station/City-Airport Terminal so travelling by Arex from Airport and checking in at the City-Airport Terminal (if travelling by most of Korean airlines) is very convenient. Near to many subway lines and buses to major attractions. Walking distance from Namdaemun Market so many food options. Myeongdong is also within walking distance or 1 subway station away..

Unfortunately the hotel is right next to a construction site. Even though this is no fault of the hotel, it may be a good idea to request for a room on the other side/end away from the construction if you are sensitive to the noise. It was noisy at the construction site as early as 7 am for a few of the mornings we were there. Pillows were too soft for our liking.

the location, the price , the value , the space

we asked about keeping our luggages days before our check in date, it was okay. but when we arrived, the reception said we cannot keep our luggage prior to our check in date. took few minutes to explain to them that we have asked and confirmed it before thru email and finally they accepts. it was 2 women at the reception counter. it was not very welcoming and was frustrating for us as we have to catch up a KTX.

Spotlessly clean, modern room and bathroom. Hotel centrally located near Seoul station - top tip is to find your way to the Seoullo elevated walking path and you can get to the hotel that way, instead of having to cross about 6 crossings and dodge all the buses! Good value for money; helpful reception staff; kettle, fridge and chilled water in the room. Complex also has a cafe/bar and casual restaurant onsite. You can also get to and from the airport via one of the airport limousine buses that stop around the corner from the hotel -far easier and cheaper than the rail connection and comparable in travel time. Bus costs W17,000 one way and you can buy your ticket near the bus stops in Incheon airport.

Didn't have enough towels when we arrived but were provided with plenty more when we asked. Limited tea/coffee provided in the room.

We have chosen this hotel due to the location, close to the Seoul Station, and it was absolutely perfect. It is worth knowing that the hotel has direct access from Seoullo pedestrian walkway, which makes accessing both the Seoul Station and Namdeamun Market very easy and pleasant. The hotel itself was very clean, the room comfy and quiet, and it was all we needed.

Nothing major to complain about. Perhaps some communication from the hotel explaining the best way to get from the Seoul Station (airport train, regular train, metro) to the hotel would be helpful, to avoid multiple staircases etc.

Very well located. The hotel is 10 min walk away from Seoul Station and 6 min walk from Namdaemun Market. The hotel has a small gym which was well appreciated. We arrived at 2 pm which was 1 hour before check-in time. But the rooms were ready and the staff very kindly allowed us to check in earlier. Love the strong water pressure of the shower head.

The rooms are quite small but that is understandable considering its central location. The bathroom needs hooks for hanging clothes. Beds were a little wobbly.

The hotel's location was perfect, right near Seoul Station and within walking distance from Myeong-dong, Namsan Cable Car and DEOKSUGUNG palace. The room and bathroom were generously sized, with windows overlooking the streets. ,

Unfortunately, our wifi wouldn't work so we had to rely on connecting to neighboring rooms which meant the connection was often slow. But it did still work so can't really complain. Overall, nothing that would stop me was staying again.

The Manu Hotel is connected to the Seoullo7017 - making it extremely easy to reach Seoul Station for the KTX, AREX and Subway. The room is cleaned everyday - even when we put up a do not disturb sign to lighten the workload of the cleaning lady. Dining and shopping wise the hotel is within walking distance to the Namdaemun Market and the Hoehyeon Subway station. The pickup point for most day trip starts from the Myeongdong Subway - which is 1 station away from Hoehyeon Stn.

Finding the shortest way from the KTX Line to the hotel and seeking for exits with lifts or escalator, particularly when you have heavy luggage to tow along.

Room wasn't large (given it's central Seoul, you wouldn't expect it to be), but room was clean and I'd recommend it for solo stays or a quick layover. Windows were small and main one was on a small ledge, but room was well lit enough that it didn't need to rely on natural light. Cafe at the reception/lobby opened at a good time and served decent coffee. Overall, you get what you pay for,

Booked mainly for the location for a layover between Seoul/Busan at it was close to Seoul station (if you take the new Seullo path); unfortunately, the hotel/Seullo overpath isn't actually easy to get up to from the Seoul station for those who can't walk up stairs/are carrying heavy luggages alone. However, this isn't neccessarily the hotel's problem and just something to note if it's the location that attracted you to the hotel.

it was right on the seoullo 7017 which I didn’t know. I’ve been wanting to see that for a long time. hotel is connected to it from the 2nd floor lobby . then it connects to Seoul station too. location was amazing . the hotel was not bad. the bed was just a bit lumpy and one of the beds had a stain. it wasn’t bad for what it was needed for. thank you for having YouTube . it was well used. the price was a bit high too for the night we stayed . could have been a bit cheaper. overall, good location, it had everything we needed, but a bit pricy

the location is very good near Seoul station and Namdaemun market. it is closed to 7-11 and starbuck. very good place to stay and easy catch up the train

the subway area has a lot of homeless people when you hv to walk pass to Seoul station in the night time. so sometimes it feel not safety. need to be concerned on this point
