Location is perfect as the area is just a few minutes walk to Myeong-dong Underground Shopping Center and Myeong-dong shopping street. Limousine bus stops from/to Incheon airport are only a few minutes walk, same with Myeong-dong Line 4 Station. There are a lot of stores and shops nearby with lots of cafes. The street going to the guesthouse is very clean and well-lit with a number of convenience stores. You can also walk to and from Namsam/Seoul Tower. Room is clean. Water pressure is very good. The shampoo and shower gels are very nice. Towels are clean and of good quality. Beds and linens are clean and comfortable. Coffee is nice. Lots of simple breakfast stuff. Kitchen/dining area is very cozy and clean. Staff were nice. Enjoyed the view of Namsan tower from the rooftop especially since it was a lovely autumn evening.

It is like an uphill walk going to the guesthouse so if you are tired from all the walking the whole day you will feel that it is quite far but otherwise, it is good exercise. The room was not that spacious but it is cozy. We stayed at the entrance/1st room in our floor that is why we can hear the sound of luggages, shoes/slippers when people come and go.

I liked the facilities dwostaris very much. The owner was also very nice and friendly. In the hotel you have a weighing machine so preparing the suitcases for plane is super easy 👌

The dormitory was very crowded, there is not a lot of place for your stuff. And sometimes the bathroom was little bit dirty after usage (not the fault of staff probably) just because people where using it improperly without consideration of others 😕.

I am a single traveler , I stayed for 6 days and 5 nights . I loved the location , there is detergent for washing clothes , if you want dryer you have to pay or else you hang your clothes on the top floor. They give you a key so you can padlock your cubicle and store your belongings. You have internet and hot water shower. You can also buy things and store them in the refrigerator so you can prepare your own food. Excellent for people who only come to sleep.

It didn't bother me but it should be made clear that they don't provide breakfast per se , what you can do is pick up a ramen ( 1 per day ) and breads that are available. For that reason alone I don't give them 10 stars.

The location is superb. Walking distance to Myeongdong subway station and market as well as the N Seoul Tower. The guesthouse is homely, clean, and we feel safe. the check in and check out process is quick. We arrived at midnight and the owner communicated well beforehand so we can self check in with ease. We liked the complimentary breakfast (very handy) and more importantly the kitchen facilities where we can store and cook food (if needed). There is also a facility to do our laundry which was great. The rooftop is a bonus. It has a nice view and can see N Seoul tower from there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was very hospitable and friendly, he treated his guests with drinks and food and a nice chat. The room we had was good and water in shower was great. Good value for money. We noticed that there was an ongoing work or refurbishment in some part of the property which was good and although busy it did not cause any noise or inconvenience. There is a facility to store the luggage after check out which was very helpful. They even have a weighing scale. If needed, the staff can help book an airport taxi which we availed. There is a convenience store and ATM machine outside the guesthouse. We had a comfortable stay and we are very happy. Will be back. Highly recommended.

Self check in was easy, the location is perfect. Centrally located, but up in a quiet street. Just book for this location. Close to metro and busstops. All the basics are there.

Little bit outdated, and the shower was just a shower head in the middle of the small bathroom so everything gets wet after a shower. Thin matresses & pillow. Just 1 incident happend: a large amount of cash euro's was stolen from my room. I reported it to the reception and kept saying it's not possible and that I forgot where I placed it or lost it somewhere else. I didn't. Someone took it oit of my room. So be careful of stashing cash money in your room, even though you have your own room.

Triple room was comfortable enough for 3 easy-going adults with 3 cabin size luggage. Everything was as described in listing and photos.

could have provided trash bags so that we can conveniently clear the trash bin at the end of the day, especially the toilet papers that cannot be flushed down the toilet. Dehumidifier in the showers will be nice too. There were drainage smell coming out of it once in a while. Pillows were too soft and thin, while bed a tad too hard. Not recommended for people with walking difficulties/ on wheelchair/ heavy luggage; it is located up a slope, only few mins walk to the cable car station.

The location and the hosts made this stay at Namsan Guesthouse one to be remembered. Namsan Guesthouse is the ideal place to stay on a budget if you want to be in a central location in Seoul whilst you explore the city. We were able to do our laundry and we even made a deal upon departure to store one of our suitcases for more than a week.

The beds are quite hard but this is common in Asia so you just have to get used to it. We were most dissapointed by the other guests in the guesthouse because none seemed to want to make a connection and hang out. We booked this guesthouse specifically to meet new people and we tried very hard but it didn't work. Later I heard that friends of mine had a similar experience in hostels and guesthouses in Korea so it might just be the culture.

room was big, hotel was clean and they were nice enough to have ramyeon and bread for breakfast the rooftop also has a very nice night view, perfect for some chill time before resting. location was near myeongdong too, a quaint vegan cafe just around the corner and a cvs

the floor i was at were the private rooms and not the dorms, but it was REALLY noisy, i think the 2 rooms at the end of the hall were having a party. i am used to guesthouses and i know we need to adjust, but it was just too loud. not that it was the fault of the guesthouse but could've been better if they have a staff for night duty to check, as they have posted that parties were not allowed

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Clean. The beds had plenty of room for me to sleep in, and even a bit of room on the sides to keep a backpack next to me. We also got our own lockers next to the bed as well, which was nice too. There's a kitchen you can share in the common area, and they give you free breakfast (just simple instant noodles or toast and jam, but better than nothing).

There were a lotttttttt of beds in a single dorm room (which I was aware of beforehand), but luckily, only 5 other people slept in that room when I was there. So, it wasn't a problem for me. 😊 (I can't imagine what it'd be like if all of the beds were filled though. 😳) The shower and toilet rooms also didn't have very good ventilation, so maybe it can smell a bit like mildew.
