I booked the wrong Urbany as I had to be more central. The guy at the reception tried to have my stay change but as I had a non refundable booking he was not able to succeed. Nevertheless he was very kind and helpful like the rest of the staff. The location is ok and plenty to do around. Otherwise everything was perfect and I highly recommend it.( I do not remember his name, but I want to thank the receptionist - Italian guy if I am not mistaken

One thing I do not not appreciate is the cleaning staff turning up at 8 am. I understand that they have a job to do bit people sleep when on holidays. Not saying they were rude, on the contrary, but it did spoil my vacation twice on a 4 day stay. And if this is the policy of your establishment, it might be time to amend it

Genuinely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in, and if anything, better than some budget chain hotels I've been to. The staff are extremely helpful, speak multiple languages, and can sort any issues or queries you might have including directions, booking taxis or talking on your behalf if you are unfamiliar with the language. Take a few minutes when you're in the lifts to look at all the facilities available - the luggage storage is all automatic, very fairly priced and very secure. The bar/terrace and rooftop are lovely, give you incredible views and are worth a visit. I stayed in a shared, all-female dorm room, and it was extremely clean, and spacious for what you pay for! Each bed has a small private light, which does not disturb others in the room, a single EU wall plug, and a single UK wall plug (so bring extension leads should you want to charge more than one device). The bed itself is very comfortable, and you get 1 pillow, 1 duvet and linens for free. Each person has a huge card-operated locker, which is secure and can comfortably fit lots of luggage! The room has the best blackout curtains I have ever seen, which means no outside disturbances and the window is sound-proofed so the rooms looking out onto the main road are very very quiet. There are coat hooks in the room too. Each shared room (I was in a room of 4 females), has an ensuite bathroom, which itself too is very spacious. There is a large shower, toilet, sink, hair straighteners and hair dryer provided, as well as a large mirror and small magnifying wall mirror too. There are coat hooks on the back of the door. Towels are not free, but only cost a few euros for your entire stay, but you can also bring your own. I read many reviews before I left about the shower - yes, it is on a 'timer' but literally not an issue. Great water pressure and instant hot water - temperature adjustable.

I literally have nothing to put here. Before I booked, I read that many people didn't like that the showers were on a 'timer'. You only have to press it once every 30 seconds or when you turn around or when you reach for the shampoo. Unless you plan to spend 5 hours in the shower, it is not an issue at all.

The location was great, about a 30/40 minute walk to most places we wanted to go or a 15 minute taxi. 3 minutes from the metro and a shop right opposite. beautiful location. The room was clean and had secure lockers. The beds were fine, nothing crazy but did the job. The rooftop bar was great and made it very easy to make friends and chat to people.

The beds were okay nothing too special but they did the job. Other than that everything was perfect.

Big spaces, World Cup games on the third floor, vending machines, fast elevators, kitchen with space in the fridge, the terrace on the 13th those are all amazing! The locker on the room is also high class.

The room smelled like feet and I'm not sure it was any of the guests and the temperature prevented me from sleeping - too hot. Property advertises a pool table, but in reality there is no chalk and the table is crooked. If in my Property I had a table like this, I would be ashamed to say: it costs 1 euro to play, preferably cash after opening the table with a key. No way to dry your hands in the common bathroom.

Easy check in. Secure key card access for building/room entry and lockers. Rooftop terrace. Friendly staff. Nice budget place to stay.

For the price I paid I really can't find faults. I read some bad reviews after booking so was a little anxious before arriving but I think the bad reviewers were expecting something similar to a hotel so they probably should have paid more to stay elsewhere because this is a good budget hostel with everything needed for a short or a long stay and I will happily stay here again when I return to Barcelona.

The position is great, It's very easy to get to it with public transport. The room was ok, it was one with bunk beds but we were only two people and so we took the bottom bets. They were comfortable and the room was clean.

The room was a little bit chilly, The air that was coming through the buildings vent was kind of cold for the weather outside.

Room was clean, we were given fresh bedding after one week of our stay there, our rooms were cleaned and bins emptied each day. There is a terrace which is really nice to sit out on for drinks and socialising. We stayed at the hostel as we were going to Primavera Sound - the location for this is good as it is only 3 stops on the tram or a 40 minute walk. in terms of distance to the centre of Barcelona it is a little way out but there is really good metro and bus links basically outside of the hostel.

In one of our rooms there was an issue with the shower, the celing above the shower would leak/pour water when the dorm above used their shower. Although this wasn't great, reception were really proactive and got the issue sorted right away.

I really like its proximity to the metro station and the room was not always full during my stay. I also like the housekeeping staff, they are really doing their job right.

I just did not like that the first bed assigned to me has a non-functioning bed light, hope they could check it regularly so they can replace it. The kitchen and penthouse areas have the weakest wifi spot too. But overall, I'm fully satisfied with my stay.

Extremely helpful and kind staff. When something was broken (eg. Fridge or leaking pipes in the bathroom), it was repaired immediately.. Location is perfect, lots of small shops and cafes nearby, easily reachable by metro or bus, even train directly from the airport. Kitchen is useful, saves a lot of money, since one can prepare own food.

Some food from the fridge went missing (most likely taken by other guests). Rooms are really tiny, but, surprisingly, we somehow got used to it.

For the money everything was good the only downside was the bed smelt a little bit but they give you a sheet to put over the bed so it's not the worst thing but 100% worth the money staff really friendly and helpful I definitely recommend
