The hostel is located in a beautiful building at a near perfect location in a great neighborhood. There’s lot’s to do around and everything is at a walking distance. The toilets were very clean! The hostel even includes a breakfast… toasts and granola, some fruit, regular milk and vegan milk options. Best of all is the kindness of the staff! Also the hostel has strict hours of using the common areas. At 12 they shut it so people can actually sleep:) this is both a good thing and bad thing depending what you are looking for. So “no” this is not a party hostel

Depending on the season: the doors/windows aren’t well insulated so it can get quite cold in the rooms… Upon request they immediately took action though and put a heater in there. So great :) The bunkbeds are a bit squeaky and dusty, might need a fix, some oil here and there :) The showers smelled a bit funky…

Location is superb, we walked everywhere by foot. Hostel sent us useful directions on how to get from airport to the place, which was easy to follow. Breakfast was included and was sufficient. Hostel patio is nice for peaceful morning breakfast. Staff were helpful. Wifi was a bit patchy but we didn't mind too much as we have lots of data.

We stayed in the double room next to reception which was really noisy! We could hear literally everything going on behind the door. Also, the double room has got window right next to shared toilet, so you can hear people doing their business there, flushing and everything! And it smelled a bit. I made a mistake of booking myself and my partner there for a 'romantic' weekend in Barcelona. There was certainly nothing romantic about this room lol. My mistake, can't really blame the hostel. But yeah, the room smelled and the noise from reception was distracting. Luckily we had earplugs which was a lifesaver.

My friend and I came to Barcelona for a 5 day trip. We spent 3 nights at the hostel. The rooms were clean, other guests were super nice and friendly and the staff was helpful - the first night we came from a party and couldn´t open the door, so a girl at the reception helped us (she opened it at the first try). The toilets and showers (one for men, one for women in one block) were functional and clean and almost always empty, no queues. Right across the road from the hostel there was a bus stop and overall, the location was pretty central, you already feel like you´re in the city, there are restaurants and bars around. On our last day they even took care of your luggage for hours after our check out.

The only con we can think of was the breakfast food. There was cracker like bread, some spreads and some cheese / ham, so we just went out to eat (cheap pastry shops near called 365).

I stayed in Casa Barcelo Hostel for 2 nights in 4-people bedroom. I think that it's a perfect choice for people who prefer going out during the day and take rest during the night :) Each bed has it's own drawer (you pay 5 euros of deposit to get the locker with the key), curtain, socket and lamp. In the bedroom there is air conditioning, table and chairs. In the kitchen there are all dishes, cutlery, fridge, kettle, microwave and shelves to put you food there. During the breakfast (8:00-11:00) you can eat cereals, pastry, fruits and make a sandwitch with jam, chocolate or cheese spread and salami. There is water, tea, coffee, juice and two types of milk to choose for a drink (cow and plant). There are different toilets and bathroom for women and for men. There are two showers and two sinks in one bathroom (for one corridor), but I've never seen the queue waiting to use them. The common space is also very nice, everything looks like at photos. The staff is very kind, there is no problem in leaving your luggage in lockable place before check-in or after check-out. They pay attention to the cleanliness of the hostel.

The staff was incredibly nice, especially Ani! (many thanks for her, for being so helpful:)) The room was okay, the bed was comfy! The breakfast was good too, they served toast, croassants, cereals, jams and provided drink as well. Worth the price! The location was also great, we could easily reach the metro lines and attractions! All in all, great place for a short stay! Reccommend it very much!

We forgot to check wether the rooms are mixed or not and got a surprised when we figguered out it was mixed. (Totally our falut, and in the end it turned out even better and got new friends)

I loved this hostel! It was located in a very nice neighbourhood, close to the city centre and Barcelona University. All the facilities were very good. Beds were comfortable. A great bonus was the balcony that was a very nice and cozy place. Additional comment is about the staff; the blond girl at the desk(I forgot to ask her name, feel ashamed now) was extremely nice and helpful. She helped me and my friend with our problem. I would definitely recommend this hostel and stay again in it when I’m in Barcelona.

Reception is open 24 hours so check in is possible at any time. They all were really nice and there was nothing we missed. The shower and toilet aren't really modern but for that price point it didn't matter. They are hostel level clean. There's free Wi-Fi that works great and the location is awesome. For breakfast we could choose from a small buffet. The day we were leaving we could let our bags there for some hours more and while we were there we had a big lockable drawer under every bed. All in all we were really happy with the stay and could 100% recommend going there.

Location was excellent for exploring the city. A little far away from La Rambla, Gothic Quarter and the beach, but nonetheless perfect. This city has much better things to see and do. The room was very clean and quiet. I was at the first floor, looking at the street, but if you close the window you cant hear anything. Perfect for resting after walking around the city. Bonus, it has a small back yard if you like to seat outside.

Location is ideal for travelling. Reception was friendly. Breakfast was also being served and that is nice as for the rates per bed per day.

The rooms were bit insecure They did not turn on the AC until we said so. When they did turn on the AC they put temperature cap on 28 Celsius which was too warm. Beds were not comfortable. Mattress needs to be changed.

It was in a really good location, the beds were good although it's obvious they moved when any of the people moved. There were blankets since it was cold outside and heating in the room, they provided earplugs so you could sleep even with people snoring besides you or on the bed under/above yours. Breakfast was nice, although the coffee was always finished early.

There was only one bathroom per zone, and some of the people that came into the room late didn't care about the others and made tons of noise, and then some people were definitely sick and snored heavily, and I'm sure one had apneas and for a minute i feared that person was dead.
