The hotel was in a great location in the old town and excellent value for money. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, good storage, comfortable beds and a great shower.

The sunbeds on the terrace were uncomfortable due to wear and tear. In our room, the Aircon wasn't very effective. Even though the temperature was only in the low 20s, it didn't cool our room down at all .

Friendly staff, very clean hotel and bar, restaurant and rooftop bar. Toilets very clean. Air conditioning was amazing throughout the hotel.

Beds a little uncomfortable (hard) not enough pillows.

Having a pool and terrace was lovely in the Old Town The lobby was beautiful and impressive, staff were pleasant.

There was construction work happening across the street. It started at 8 am and finished at 6pm. The noise was bad and we couldn't use the balcony. I feel we should have been informed of this prior to arrival. The air con needs attention as it dripped badly when in use. We had to put a towel on the floor to avoid slipping. This appears to have been a long term issue as the wooden floor has been affected. No ironing facilities No plugs near mirrors and vice versa

Good location near a multi-story car park. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. If The Strip is your scene it's 20ish mins walk away. Really good rooftop bar with great staff. There was live music the night we visited. AC in room was good, thankfully as it was 42 degrees when we visited. Superior rooms are a decent size. Everything clean and a good shower.

Check-in process could have been smoother and a bit more friendly. It's your first impression after all. Maybe the language barrier didn't help, but there was a bit of confusion and felt very slow and clunky. Mobile signal wasn't working well in the hotel lobby, which didn't help with so much being electronic these days. Thankfully the Hotel has free WiFi. Bathroom felt outdated style wise. AC was more rattly than we'd have liked, but worked well enough. We got a fair bit of street noise in the morning.

The hotel is perfectly situated in proximity to the old town, the Spanish restaurants and the Mal Pas & Poniente beaches. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is kept spotless and the cleaning staff do a wonderful job. The rooms were excellent with double beds and the bathrooms spacious and well maintained. Although we didn't eat in the hotel the food looked good and the hotel provided some form of entertainment most evenings. One of the best things about the hotel is the proximity to "tapas alley" - where you can find some superb tapas and pintxos, well away from all day breakfasts and Sunday roasts... The rooftop pool is more of a plunge pool, with a separate kids area, although to be honest most adults used it to cool off whilst taking advantage of the excellent pool bar. There are plenty of sunbeds, with the staff changing the towels frequently. The pool bar also does snacks. In addition to this, there are changing rooms and a small gym just below the rooftop pool area. In the evenings when the pool bar closes, there is an excellent bar on the lower terrace, with DJs and chill out music. There is a great view from this bar as the sun goes down All in all, the Voramar is a superb hotel and I won't hesitate to book next time I come to Benidorm

The only small niggle was lack of a proper ironing facility. I'm sure there is space somewhere in the hotel to have a couple of ironing boards and irons set up. This would then negate the need to "book" the iron (no ironing board available!) I solved this in advance by packing a travel iron and ironing mat but it really wasn't ideal and meant more stuff to pack unnecessarily.

The staff was extremely friendly and never stopped helping and walked with a smile always which I feel makes a massive impact on the start of your day. My lasting impact was our first night arriving, My partner and myself wanted to get water for our room so when we asked at reception where we can buy some at a late hour and without any issue he goes into the restaurant and grabs us a large chilled bottled water for no cost, it was purely him being extremely nice and helpful. It really set us for a great start of the holiday knowing we were in a hotel were they go the extra mile.

Location would be nicer if it was a little closer to the new town, but that was purely a fault of my own on not better checking where we were situated. But don't regret it as we had an amazing time.

Location is perfect for us, everything right outside the door. Modern, clean hotel, quiet in the bedrooms, no noises from outside. Nice terraces on the roof with swimming pool and bar and a second terrace with bar for a nice cocktail in the evening, sometimes with live music, nice views over the sea at night.

Some of the staff are not as friendly or efficient as others, especially in the downstairs bar. One of the male bar staff is so friendly and welcoming ( I should have taken his name) he always remembers us when we return to stay, takes the time to chat to us and is very efficient serving, other members of bar staff not so, often I end up going to the bar to order as they don't seem to want to come and take the order, they don't seem bothered about customer interaction at all.

The hotel is situated in the old town with a short walk to the beaches. New town is also within walking distance. The pool is located on the roof with views overlooking the harbour, the area is clean and has a fab little bar. The staff were extremely friendly and always on hand to help if required. We didn't eat at the hotel as we enjoyed sampling the local restaurants however we did have drink around the pool, the ladies made the best cocktails! Towels are provided on sun loungers, the staff replaced these each time a person left. Additional to the pool there is another area to relax with a walk in water part that goes up to ankle height, ideal for cooling off. There is also a seating area on the roof where you can sit in the shade and relax, pizzas and snacks are available to order from the poolside bar. There is also a gym and toilet facilities on the roof top. Our room had no balcony however we only used the room to sleep and shower. It was basic with room and bathroom, small fridge and air conditioning. Tea making facilities would of been nice for that morning coffee/tea.

Great location, easy walk to the beach and central to bars and restaurants. Quiet roof top pool with a lovely view of the beach.

The air conditioning was very noisy making it annoying to have on and also the doors slamming day and night, just adding some simple soft close hinges could have stopped that noise.
