The location was perfect - right across the river from the Guggenheim Museum! Our room was very comfortable and a reasonable price for the location. However, the thing that really made this a standout hotel experience was the owner. She was so responsive to our queries, even at odd hours of the night. We had a few unusual things happen during our stay (e.g., my partner accidentally got himself locked in the bathroom on the first day; I tested positive for Covid and my partner no longer wanted to share a bedroom with me; etc.), and she helped us every time. If we return to Bilbao, we will definitely stay here again!

Great location Quiet Helpful host
The clothes washer did not work although there was no indication that it didn’t. So we put clothes to wash but the machine didn’t drain well and we had to go to a laundry for two hours to try clean them as they were covered in old black specks of cloth and they were wet. We should have asked about the washer, but this could have been avoided if there had been a sign on the machine or a message to us.

I love that the room is secure and includes a private ensuite bathroom. There is plenty of information in English about what is available to explore. It has a river view and is a short walk to the Guggenheim and other Museums and Galleries, as well as to the Renfe Station which is also the meeting point for some of the free walking tours I enjoy. The host was very welcoming, informative and prompt to reply.
No complaints, I recommend this property for solo travellers :)

Great location for walking to Guggenheim and also old town. Lots of little local bars for fab breakfasts. If need taxi the hotel along the street will book for you. Definitely recommend.
Street noise if light sleeper as our room faced the road. We were so worn out from walking we didn't notice 🙂 (it's a flat place mostly...although some significant steps).

.Excellent location: when I woke up, out of the door, I found myself with the Zubizuri bridge on my left and the Guggenheim museum on my right .... beautiful! The hostess was welcoming, helpful and nice.

Great location and easy to find. A 10 min walk from the airport bus stop close to the Guggenheim and a nice riverside walk to the old town. Easy self check in.
Comfier pillows would have made a big difference.
