Excellent location to visit Bilbao. Only 400 m. from old city center and 1.200 m from Guggenheim Museum. Very nice hotel & friendly staff. Nice Rooms. Excellent breakfast in a lovely location. Also excellent Japanese restaurant in evening at same location of breakfast

The extra cost of 20 € / person to have acces to swimmming pool. We only wanted to go for a swim in the early morning / late afternoon but we still needed to pay the acces to the wellness & gymn center as the swimming pool is part of this center

Asked for our room number and name on our second day there!!! Even though this was given when we went into breakfast. The lady greets us and recognised us from the day before. We felt single s out by the man who came to our table to ask us. ?? Made us both feel very uncomfortable. We are guest and we were celebrating our anniversary. I asked why on the way out. The answer wasn’t acceptable. Said it it was ok to double check? Why , we are guest and the hotel wasn’t overly busy. Could of been asked on the way out instead of in front of other dinners. ? 🤷‍♀️

Everything was great in the hotel, great breakfast selection, and staff were amazing, specially Marimar! The only complaint is that we were misguided by the pictures with a swimming pool. We booked this hotel specifically because we wanted a pool, only to find out during check-in that the pool was part of the spa and was not for swimming - only for realxing so we could not use it with a child. So this was a disappointment for our trip.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. It is conveniently located close to Bilbao's main attractions and just opposite the metro station and the shopping area. The room was quite big, with very comfortable beds and with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was also decently sized, beautiful to look at and with SLS-free toiletries. The breakfast was tasty and it included a la carte, apart from buffet breakfast. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful. It was an enjoyable experience and we would recommend the hotel to people visiting Bilbao.

I sincerely cannot think of anything that annoyed or bothered me in this hotel, to be honest. The stay was pleasant throughout the holiday, which is just what I wanted. So we would happily stay there again, should we visit Bilbao in future.

The staff made the experience for us. A particular thanks to Daniel at reception who was excellent and provided us with great advice and suggestions to make the most of our stay. The bar staff were also very attentive and made us an impressive gin and tonic with a local gin.

Nothing major. There was a bit of noise on our floor from the restaurant above (scraping of chairs etc) so some kind of noise proofing could be worth looking into. We were also missing hand soap which was a bit unusual. Juice in the minibar and milk would also have been appreciated.

Comfortable beds and very clean. Staff were very helpful. Perfect, easy hotel. Great rooftop bar and breakfast - $23 but if ordering an ala carte dish, totally worth it- excellent food. Nice gym and facilities.

Location was a 20 min walk from Guggenheim Bilbao - a little far since we returned a few times. Otherwise, it was a Good location for Main Street and shops and easy walk to old village. Wish the hotel or concierge let me know that the day we arrived, it was a holiday so all stores were closed (holiday for Bilbao and basque, not all of Spain). I would have planned for tours etc if I had known.

The roof terrace was great, and the service and selection for breakfast was perfect. They had gluten-free options which was good for me. And the staff was efficient and friendly. The room was clean and as expected - but all the rooms facing into the courtyard had quite a boring view from the room. The interior felt modern and considered. And the room was equipped with everything one would need. The general feeling at the hotel was quite stiff and unwelcoming - and the staff was sweet, and professional but nothing more. If you like an impersonal and professional atmosphere then this is perfect for you. It definitely feels like a modern hotel chain. The pool is not included in the price and needs to be booked separately, which was a bit disappointing. It’s only 20 euros per person, but it could have been more clear that this is an addition. Conveniently located by the old town, and walking distance to the Guggenheim.

The hotel was comfortable, nicely decorated and in a perfect location. Jordi in particular on reception was welcoming and offered friendly advice about how to get around the city. Management, I hope, recognise my comment about Jordi and praise his work ethic.

I was disappointed the be told that the spa was €20 per person per day. As this was a short trip, we wanted to quickly experience the facilities that you would expect to be part of the whole charge. Also, I understand that staffing was tight in the bar one evening, but to be rudely told that it was a 20 minute wait and then have the girl (young, short (RBF) with big wavy hair) turn her back on us was disappointing, especially when the bar staff, as a whole, were friendly under those circumstances.

Great font of house staff - very friendly and helpful. Plus great room - very spacious and comfortable.

Omnline check in pre arrival didn't work. Plus "upgrade offer" received prior to arrival had been accepted but not fed through. As it happened, it didn't matter as the room booked originally was upgraded in any case. But if you're going to invite people to upgrade (and pay more of course) in advance plus other extras, the system needs to work! Breakfast was expensive for what it was. If you are going to charge that amount, you shold at least offer a properly made coffee (ie not from a machine). That was very disappointing, especially in Spain where good, person-made coffee is the norm. Very poor for this quality of hotel.

The hotel is amazing , super clean , nicely decorated, and very helpful staff

We needed to wait in line to enter the breakfast area for a bit over 45 minutes, by the time we managed to be seated, a lot of the food was gone!! Although the staff were trying their best to accommodate us , still they couldn’t fill in all empty dishes!! The hotel charged us a full rate for breakfast , we would appreciate it if they considered the inconvenience !!
